That whole B part starting from 5:06 or so gives huge Ori and the Blind Forest vibes. Specifically the escape sequence tracks, very majestic, vibrant, and exhilarating. Keep it up man
This is really inspiring, dude! You've done a lot with a little here and you got straight to the point. I'd love to see what you could do with a more professional set of orchestral samples. If I were a rich man, I'd send you a copy of Nucleus stat. Cheers!
just a thought, but I think it would be cool if you put reverb on the trumpets that come in at the beginning of the song and then increase the distance. It might give the effect that the battle is about to start and help to build suspense!
Really nice, maybe changing the melody to a more noticeable and making a nice short loop could give this piece the little something it lacks ? Otherwise you gave a nice Genshin Impact / Undertale but more orchestral sound to it !! A shame you only have 2k subs tho
Hey what tends to be your workflow when making songs? Do you like start with thinking of the main melody or intro melody first, or do you start with like percussion? And what do you usually do after that? Thanks in advance :D
I'm normally a melody centric composer. So, for this one, for example, I started with the initial string melody+bass, then added the drums, and then other stuff after that. I'm a pianist first so I'll sit there and play around until I find something that sounds good/has promise, then record that in, find good instrument to fit, then do drums, then flesh out the whole sound. I know this was pretty general, but I didn't want to write out too much lol. If you have any more questions im very happy to answer!
If you're talking about the song, this one specifically took roughly over the course of 5ish days. Initial idea came and the structure was done in about 2 days, the other 3 were refining and polishing.
hi, im a new composer here and absolutely LOVE this. I would really like to know where to find the plugins you used since i cant find any decent ones anywhere.
Hi there! The main ones I used in this are FLEX (which is free with FL I believe) and the free Kontakt library "The Free Orchestra" (you can download it and Kontakt for free). Hope you can find those! Feel free to join my Discord if you'd like any more help and to chat with other composers :) discord.gg/5S2pPA99px
Luckily you can click and place everything without needing either of those! Though having a midi keyboard (a simple small one is 100 dollars) makes the whole process easier, if you know how to play one.
under 10mins, straight to the point and NO CLICKBAIT. perfect!

Great advice too. Sometimes you try to follow the rules too hard.
