I have a question that I use the user data to control the deformation, but there is no button of keyframe to make animation. How can I make animation like yours? Thanks.
Thanks for watching Milan. I created a arealight and made it a child of a circle spline. I animated the spline 360 degrees so the light spins around. For the shader I created a diffuse material with sss inside Octane. I used a dirt node for less sss on the edges.
How do I "drag a line" inside of espresso editor? I'm sooo close but stuck on this. Your videos are incredible and beautiful and I think you should make more :)

Hi this is great and Im just startong with C4D so its a great tutorial!! Thank you!!! I just can't seem to be able to animate with the bevel controller and the keyframes. DO you have any advice for this? Thanks! :)
Thanks Motalina! You can animate object or parameters is C4D by pressing the circle left of it. If you are new to this search youtube for "keyframes in cinema 4d".
If you don't see the user data when you right-click on the node you have the option to drag the parameter onto the node. Select the null object "bevel controller". Then in your attribute window drag the newly create parameter "Bevel" on top of the BevelController node in Xpress. Then it should appear in xpresso.
Hi, I tried to make it on my R19, but I think there is no "Polygon Extrusion" on my Bevel Deformer. Can I ask a question about it- Do I need to update or something to use this function? Thanks!
Thank you mate🤟😀 got a new subscriber 💪

I am from Brazil and I have never seen anything like it, fast, objective and surprising my congratulations for this video, for the level of knowledge.
You're welcome!
Great tutorial, the intro rendering clearly shows what I'm going to learn and actually make me want to stay until the end!
Nice ambient music
Perfects tutorials around here !
Thanks Valentin!
I like the way you choose to record a generic voice. No waste of time, everything is smooth. And you got nice visuals ;) +1 sub for sure
Damn you're genius
NIce. Could you give a tutorial on how to make a final scene with these materials, lighting and blur effect (as at the beginning of this tutorial)?

@@Nielsc4dtutorials while im reading your comment its echoes in my mind with your video voice xd
@@Nielsc4dtutorials can u make a tutorial for that material in octane buddy
It is very helpful, I like it, thank you
Good one. Never knew user data is that simple.
I just learned that Xpresso exists, this tutorial better blow up!
Xpresso isn't that hard in this tutorial. It's a small trick to animate the deformers faster.
I learnt so much in 3 mins..
Glad you the video was helpfull ;)
your tutorials are absolutely brilliant!
Great tutorial! When I hear the "robotic voice" I cringed a little but this was quite informative and straight to the point. Thank you so much
You're welcome m___ric ;)
Love it bro
Fantastic work!
Thanks Lance!
Thanks, very useful and clear
Cool!
that looks cool!
Thanks!
short and snappy! wow!
This is nice! Do some more. Thanks!!
I will, stay tuned!
merci pour vos vidéos

If you're stuck at 2:25 because you can't get the same options when right-clicking on the "Bevel Controller" node, try double-clicking instead.
awesome tut..!! ,,,, but the out put is different from the refrence in the starting of video ..
Thanks Manan! You can experiment with the "Extrude" parameter in the bevel deformer to make it look more like the one at the beginning.
Niels - VIDEO 4 .... yeah .. i will... thanks for the tutorial !! keep working on new things 😜.
This is amazing!!!! May we know how you managed to get rounded edges for the sphere at 0:06 ?
prolly subsurface
Great stuff!
Thanks!
great vid - more like this. short and sharp
Thanks! Stay tuned
Could you please show how to go from c4d to stage at which your thumbnail is.

cool
Hi, do not really understand how to animate the sphere changes. Sorry if it stupid question but I just started with C4D
thank you very good friend all your material, particularly you can do more with expresso I am looking to experience there, greetings thanks
Nice! Thx Niels
You're welcome/graag gedaan!
Altijd fijn om een expert aan het werk te zien :)
Dank!;)
I love this!! thank youu!!
You're welcome Jecelyn!
Looks Great!
Can you create a tutorial for the material as well? 0:06 Thanks.
Thanks Uri! I will do some more shading tutorials in the nearby future!
Great video, it helped a lot. Thanks! Subscribed as well to learn more from you.
Thanks AB! Welcome to the channel
super!
Thank you for these great tutorials.
I just want to know is this R20 because it doesn't work on R19??
You're welcome Gurgac! It should work in R19 too.
Amazing. what is the render engine? thanks

may I ask you how did you create round edges like at 0:06?
Rusted Nails Thanks! I used the “round edge” option in my Octane material.

Song?
The subdivision don't work on R20 :/ Would you do an updated version? Thanks!
What part does not work? I recreated the sphere in R20 and it works like a charm.
What song is this and I love your videos :D

good. Voice is like a robot
Hi, I have no selection of "User Data " while I drag "Bevel Controller" into Xpresso Editor. Can you teach me how to solve it? Thank you very much!
Are yo using the studio version of C4D?
Yup R19
If you don't see the user data when you right-click on the node you have the option to drag the parameter onto the node. Select the null object "bevel controller". Then in your attribute window drag the newly create parameter "Bevel" on top of the BevelController node in Xpress. Then it should appear in xpresso.
Ermm... how to drag the parameter onto node?
Sorry about my silly question , I'm new in C4D.
I did it, thanks for your patience. Thank you very much!

Hi 4FY, do you have the studio version of C4D R19?
Yeah I am.
Did you switch your "Component Mode" to polygons?
Sweet! Why did I miss it? :) That was the answer, thanks for the reply!
You're welcome ;)
why is a robot teaching me
I have another options in XPresso editor, haven't ''user data'' option
prntscr.com/k23fg6 screenshot
what kind of problem is it? tnx!
How to looping that?
You cannot loop tjis animation. Maybe a "pin pong" loop. Animate it from 0% to 100% and then back to 0%.
@@Nielsc4dtutorials thanks for information
hi, floor what gradient color? thank!
Hi 3T T3, what color gradient do you mean?
hi, scheme gradient grey?
Background - Gradient 1 HSV 0,0,58 % and Background - Gradient 2 HSV 0,0,40%
thanks!

I don't know about a bevel deformer but I just learnt how to make a football
