Is there any chance the guy you are building this Lark for will make an appearance on your channel? This is gonna be one sweet ride 👍

Scat has stroker rotating assemblies in 368, 378 and 392 ci displacement with options for flat, dome and dish pistons depending on the compression you want. I am building my second 368 (370 because i am using 0.020 oversized pistons) and flat Icon pistons and Scat Rods.

I've never used the main bolts to loosen the caps (I use a soft faced mallet) but, I've also never built an engine with a deep skirted block cross bolted mains either so, I can see how using the bolts would make things easier. As far as the rods and caps, I ALWAYS keep them together and, I ALWAYS use number stamps on them too. I mainly work on Chevy V-8s and Windsor Fords. Since the Ford cylinder numbering system is different from Chevrolet, I also make a note in my "build book" to remind myself that it's a Ford engine so that I don't mix up which side/hole each rod/piston set goes into.

If it's in the budget may be see about going with a stroker kit it in it. I know there not very cheap.

Nice to see the care going into this engine build. I think the only issue you are going to have is keeping tires on the back end of the Lark unless you go to some effort to create a rear suspension that will have some bite.

Since you plan on replacing the crank, is there stroker cranks available for that platform? And if so, is one in the plans?

You may have done it off camera, but aren’t we supposed to use a ridge reamer prior to pushing out the pistons?
