- I was able to hunt down a Corolla Levin, Mitsubishi Evo III, Supra, RX-7, S15 Silvia and more! Looks like some of the inventory has been swapped out at some of the local dealerships so it was time to bring you another JDM Cars for Sale installment. S15 variettas are pretty rare even in japan because it wasn’t that popular. And yes Varietta s15s are convertible.

The BZR is the the final and ultimate version of the Toyota Levin/Trueno. That's an AE111. Made from 1997 to about 2000 Probably a 1998 model with the black top 20 valve 4AGE and 6 speed LSD gearbox. Really cool cars. I also see another Levin. Supercharged GTZ. Older AE101 model from like 1993. Equipped with the 4AGZE

They're a kick arse car for sure not sure about ultimate, should have been RWD though, that would have made them the ultimate.

Bzr is the 6 speed 20v but Bz is the 5 speed 20v.

These cars are common. NOT "24 valve buy rather a 4age 20v.. they are as common jdm countries as Honda civics are I the US .

Nick T. Unfortunately these dealers focus on local sales but I know some folks who can get cars shipped to the US. You can also check out goo-net-exchange.com to search JDM cars. Anything you like I can get you into contact with an exporter

10:15 that Tacoma was import from states. I assume that truck was auction off someone from Okinawa bought then transfer to Japan. I mean it not rare to see one. It’s like American like JDM cars and as for Japanese like USDM cars. It’s part of car culture thing.

There's an easy way to tell whether a factory spec S or R chassis (skyline) is turbo charged, how many wheel studs does it have? 4 = non turbo, 5 = turbo (5x114.3 to be specific). That should be true for all non modified S chassis and all R chassis up to and including R33 (not sure about the 34, obviously not relevant for 35).
Btw, kick arse vids, you have yourself a sub from New Zealand (we get a shit tonne of kick arse cheap JDM cars). I'm restoring my old Mitsubishi FTO that has a 6A13TT from a Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 (2.5l twin turbo V6).

Im interested in traveling to Japan myself to get a R32 GTST Sedan, i want to go there myself because yes i do really want to see the car in person before i buy, and other reason i want to go there is because i hear if purchase there it will be cheaper then one already imported here in U.S.
These iconic cars are relatively cheap ( compared to Europe or US import) because anything bigger than Kei car means you have to have a parking place and more tax to pay.
rudinhopsg Yes I agree. I rarely see locals driving “JDM legends”. It’s a LOT cheaper to operate and maintain the smaller cars

Most JDM fans obviously wants the JDM legends, but me, I would love to have a Toyota bB/Scion xB(you passed by a couple of them in the beginning of the video) shipped from Japan here to the states. But I gotta wait another 8 years or so to be able to 😢😢

Toyota Levin are very rare, I think that one if you get might worth a shot bring back to the states.

You're thinking of a different S15. I know which one you're talking about. I featured that one in my Cars for Sale 2 or 3 video. This one is all the way in Uruma near the Athletic park on the east coast.

they are gertting more rare and harder to find. the seats alone sell for a coupe of thousand. not many cars came with the option b or spec b trim level. i own an S15 i would buy that in a second

You're right I am just used to referring to the SR20DET as a "SR20"
All 180s and s14-15 come with SR's but in Europe they come with a CA18DET and in America a KA24DE

180sx = sr20 or Ca18
s14/ s15 = sr20
Some r32 sedans also came Ca18i and were badged as the gxi model.

Sammy 750 The Skyline is 1,500,000 yen so roughly 14k USD and I still have to swing back by and check on the Evo. I have seen some Evos similar from 14-17k depending on condition

Yes that is the plan. Believe it or not the Evo is a rarer car than my old R33 GTR. I think it’s a good noice to bring back and I would love to build it up with a Evo 8 engine

They made way more Evo 4s. I see them around everywhere in Canada. A clean Evo 3 would be much better for you in the long run much more rare and sought after cars.
The ones that hold there values are the evo 3's, 5's, 6's, 8's, and 9's.
I've never driven a evo 3 but I've been told they are a more raw and lighter car to drive. Would be easier for parts as well as I'm pretty sure it's the same mechanically to the eclipse gsx. But I could be wrong.
P.S: how rare are gc8 body wrx or sti's? They seem like the most common cars here in Canada since so many people import them do to AWD being a necessity in the winter.
But I never see any of them for sale at lots in Japan from the few RUclipsrs like yourself I watch. (I own a 2000 v6 gc8 STI so I was just curious how rare of a car it was.)
Wesley My neighbor has a GC8 but you are right I don’t see a lot for sale on these lots. There’s definitely a bigger Subie community out here. Most of the time I’m one of the few Evos that will show up at a meet. You’re right about the “sought” after Evos. The 1-3 have DSM motors so parts are pretty cheap to come by. I’ve also considered buying a 6 since they are pretty cheap still just to have and drive until I leave. Sell it and grab something else to bring back. So many tough choices to make haha

What ever you end up bringing back just make sure it's a JDM icon, old Evo, sti, rx7, Supra, gtr, anything that wasn't sold in the usa that has a manual gear box will be worth big money one day. I've already seen the increase here. Supras use to be $10k now they are $30k+. Gtr use to be $15k now $40k+. This list goes on. If I had the money I'd snag a few as they are great investments.

Rummys I’d consider if I could get close to buying a Evo 3 since I leave in 2020 honestly. I love the 4 to death but it’s a matter of storing it for a year compared to shipping one back immediately
