I have two cats Gunny and Sarge, Sarge sleeps at my side most of the night Gunny sleeps at the end of the bed. I go to bed around 1:00 am at about 12:45 Sarge comes over to me wanting me to go to bed so he can sleep next to me. I’m 100% disabled combat Vietnam Veteran lost my wife in 2010 these two are my second set of brothers it keeps me from giving up. My wife was a lover of cats.

Two are my sons, one is everyone's, one is mine for the last 15 years and I couldn't imagine life without him and the other is my husbands. Of course I say who's they are because that's who they have attached to in the home. We all love each of them. They sleep in our beds and we would not have it any other way.

I agree 100%! I have one that does the exact same thing! He’s with me constantly all day every day. He gets extremely upset if any of the other cats accompany me to the bathroom too. He agitates them until they leave….it’s like he says this is MY HOOMAN! 😻Go find your own…maybe they need company! I got this…now go! 🐱🐈😂He’s the best!❤

Our boy cat has become cuddlier with age, and now I often wake in the morning to find him on the pillow against my cheek. I'm a somewhat light sleeper, but he joins me at some point without waking me. Our girl cat used to choose only 'her' recliner chair for nighttime sleep, but a few months ago I left some packages there and forgot about them overnight. She had to pick another sleeping spot, and the next morning I woke up with a fur hat. Now she'll often share my pillow if our other cat isn't on it. It took many years, but I'm so happy those two have become pillow-sleepers. The cozy warmth and close purring are just the best.
I have a single bed and my cat sleeps slap bang in the middle of it! I have to turn into a pretzel to get any bed….lol

I have a double bed and the same problem. One cat in the middle and one cat on a random other place... I sometimes end waking up diagonally or 90 degrees turned.

I have 2 cats, 1 sleeps at my feet the other sleeps under the covers next to me and we cuddle up together, hes 17 yrs old now but he never wakes me up, infact its me that wakes him up to go to the toilet. I lost my husband in April 2023 so they give me so much comfort. I dont know what id do without them.

Not just at bedtime! Commenting while Calicatt sleeps across my lap and one arm. Tabbitha is halfway across the room watching me from the cat tree. 😊 Adore them both! My daily schedule often gets delayed bcuz they are in my lap, sound asleep, and I don't want to disturb their soothing/calming/loving/trusting beauty.
Both were kitten rescues from a feral colony. (Born early last summer - ?) Each has lost one eye due to an infection rampant in the colony; they came to me healed, spayed, bonded, and socialized (and with rabies shots) in early January. They are SUCH a blessing in my life - I wanted a bonded pair of indoor cats, and here they are 😊!
They sleep at/on my feet at night, gradually moving to my shoulders by morning. The girls never disturb my sleep and readjust without protests when I move. I've had pets all my life; never had an issue with allergies.

My 9 month old, Fred, usually sleeps behind my legs. Fred usually wakes me up between 6:30-7:30am.
Those precious moments my little boy, Coni-Fur, snuggles with me are worth any of the discomforts he may bring with him. I look at it as though he is permitting me to share HIS bed.
It's true that he does wake me for a midnight snake and is also rather pushy when he wants more room on the bed which causes a little discomfort for me but once his purr motor revs into high gear it's back to dream land!

Yes my cat sleeps with me. She brings baby (leopard beanie baby, her favorite teddy) to bed with her. I am a side sleeper and she curls up either in my belly hole as I call it, behind my knees or by my feet depending on how hot it is. Cold nights I get a little belly hot water bottle 😃 everyone's a winner. She's an indoor cat apart from her catio at the back and we got out in the garden on a lead as I live on a main road. She used to go out at our old place but never really left the garden and has adapted beautifully to it. She has a window seat where she can see the birds and bees but this way she can't hurt them and the sparrows regularly sit on the windowsill and talk to her and she chitters back. I know she isn't actually talking to them but sometimes it does seem like they have little conversations through the window. I often wonder what the birds think she's talking about.

I live my cat. He is a male Tuxedo, very affectionate to me, lots of head butts, sleeps on my side, and also sleeps on his pillow on my bed. He is my comfort and support BFF(best furry friend and he understands when I talk to him. Do not know what I would do without him. Have him since he was a kitten, and he will be 6yrs old in Aug. Adopted him from a Town Shelter. I hope I have him forever, this is his forever home & he is always with me and has bonded with me. I watch all cat programs on RUclips. ❤❤❤😊😊 11:17

I have two cats. My gray tiny cat Subi sleeps with me every night and even takes naps with me as well. I dont know what I would do without her. She is such a cuddler and very affectionate. Some days she will put her head on my shoulders just to be petted.
My new cat always sleeps with me. And I had no problem but 2 days she didn't and suddenly after I woke up every part of my body hurt. That was a weird and funny recognition. Seems like although she sleeps in my bed but I don't get any problems. Atleast till now

I did took a hour and a half nap when I was sick with a cold. My cat was in bed with me between my arms. He did always cuddled with me the most,too. He had a very special bond with me.
My cat does wake me in the night sometimes by gently patting my head or face. When I react he goes down to the foot of the bed. I read they may be checking that you're alive. In the morning he comes to sit and purr on my chest. I either get up after a short cuddle or turn over onto my side saying, "Just 5 more minutes."
I most often sleep in a sandwich of my mainecoon on one side and my Chihuahua on the other. I feel blessed 😊

After having cats sleep with me for many years I stopped. It became very disruptive with my previous cat (knocking things off my night table patting my face, my hair, waking me up throughout the night etc.) My sleep really suffered. With my latest two I banned them from the bedroom at night right from the start.
I think one of them would be ok, but the sibling would cause very disruptive sleep. He's bad enough when napping with me on the recliner! We get lots of cuddling together before bedtime and on weekends, just no nighttime sleeps together.
I sleep with my 3 Ragdoll cats. They are all very affectionate girls and have their own favorite spots in our bed. My husband shares their company as well. It’s a good thing we have a king size bed!

My oldest cat is 18 this year. At a young age, she figured out how to climb under the cover. She'd get covered, even when no one was in bed. She now will get under the covers no matter the time of year. The youngest is 1 1/2 years old, but only sleeps at the foot of the bed, or the other pillow, next to me, and always above covers. He's the gentle giant cat of the house, weighing 15 lbs already and looking like a Maine Coone mix. Both were saved from near death, but loved so much as they give so much love and affection back.
I have kept the door closed at night for a collection of reasons over the past 6ish years, but I loved when my high school pet cat would sleep with me

My best cat ever, Tommy, used to sleep all snuggled up to my chest. I was big spoon and he was little spoon, LOL! The 2 cats I've had since him weren't cuddly in bed at all. 😢 Probably because I got them as adult strays, they'd never experienced it growing up.
My boy is 20 years old. I remember the first week I had him. 6 months old. Got himself up on top of my elevated captain's bed and promptly snuggled into my ribs, scaring me half to death. Now, I barely notice when he's snuggled. I know to give him warnings when I move and I try not to move. Lol!

I would LOVE to have my Baby Boy share my bed,, but, it was too small.,! He slept w/me when he was little,and i can surely curl just to give him the space!

My cat had 2 owners before me. Both passed away. Now she sleeps with me, stays with me when I am home and when I go out she cries😢. She is my little girl because I have all men in the house. Doing great. I enjoy cats.

Call me crazy, but i have 8 cats. At night as im turning off lights and locking up I'll tell them I'm going to bed. They'll all file in behind me. Ill say "okay my babies, lets go to sleep " they find their spots in my room and go to sleep. Within 2 hours They'll all be in bed with me. We sleep well together. I cant imagine sleeping without them.

Close but not to close. When your cat friend needs your friendship and security , the noble thing is to oblige them . But it's not so good when they crowd you or lick you , spreading they're salivary biome onto you .
i am a 2 cat dad., have had cats for 30 years and i developed some rules about sleep. kinda ”best of both worlds”. they are welcome during my afternoon nap. i barely have time to ”assume my nap position” and they are already on the bed :)). and yes, it`s a nice feeling. cuddly and all that. golden rule: never under my sheets. and at night they have their own kitty pillows in the rest of the house. and they wake me up anyway during their heeby jeebies . so i don`t need them climbing the walls in my bedroom:)). oh, and one tip: get them tired during the day :))

People transfer far more germs and diseases than cats ever did! They also interrupt sleep and can ruin posture in sleeping positions. Also, they snore! I received far more comfort from animals than people any day of the week. I work with animals. They give love, people? Not so much.

Negative?! Never a negative with any of my fur babies. The scientific satistics are very Low and only with specific situations and certainly Not with Healthy Cats! I would never fall for that one my fur babies come first.
Sleeping with your cat can cause more stress because you're afraid of rolling over on top of it and squishing it...
You learn to sleep very still! 😁 I credit my first cats (and a dog), with training me to sleep with very limited movement and in a limited space.
I'm kind of an adoptive owner to my partners cats xD They were originally his, we both love cats but I didn't have any since I moved alone because I was afraid my tiny apartment would be cruel for a cat.
At first I used to take care of the cats in his apartment when he was away because of work travel, and the first night I spent alone with Elliot and Marte, I woke up with both of them sleeping with me! When we share the bed they don't always sleep with us, I'm guessing it's because there isn't many space to share since the bed is also quite small.
We are now living together, with Elliot and MArte, of course (in my tiny apartment! We worked to adapt it so it'd be better for the cats. They have a lot of places to hang out and sleep, scratching posts, and we are working on a diy cat tree so they can hangout near the windows and watch the birds). Even when they don't sleep with us, they always sleep in the same room, so we keep their beds near, and they come to bed to wake us up when we oversleep in the morning. I love them so much
