Listen up… I’m very critical, don’t like much of these short films or whatever and I never comment or waste my time on these…. But this…THIS ONE, you have to turn into a full 2 hr movie, I will pay the 15 fccking dollars to go see it…. Even use the same actors or whatever find someone to finance it FCCKING DO IT!!!

i understood why the premise was slightly unsettling, but it wasn'y actually scary at any moment. I also though much of the acting elt anticipated, like watching the actors doing an early rehearsal

I loved the idea of her talking about someone in the window and it tuned out to be herself looking down, then it seemed they were trapped in a waking nightmare.👍
You prove that great filmmaking is hard work and your ethic is evident, I have watched 8 of your proof of concepts so far and I am not surprised that this one has garnered some attention. You write well, you direct well, your troupe performs well, and you assimilate into your stories' the key ingredients of the diverse genres with aplomb.
After having checked your IMDB page I may very well stay up all night and watch more.

No one is explaining their point of view so I have some questions 😁 They got trapped in different times and house became their prisoner. But why does clon kill the other one? It is not logic.
When they enter to the house they got duplicate immediatelly by "power of house". And they got lost. And when they meet another her/himself they want to kill it? House is full of capturated souls?
I have to tell you, I don't like horrir mi ues at all, I got scarred too quickly but I like to watch Blake Ridder short movies, even creepy ones. That one I watched almost on mute 😮💨💆🏻♀️😇 Good job. And no, I don't want to see the full lenght - just wanna know some explanations. 🙈

Please take this as constructive criticism. I am a fellow filmmaker and I'm just trying my best to help others grow cause I'd like to think I pay attention to detail.
One thing that I've always lacked while watching your films is the lack of immersiveness. Sometimes because of the storytelling (shots, camera movements, sound design, SFX, editing...etc), but mostly because of the acting.
I thought the cinematography and story concept was great, but the film lacked proper directing and good actors. I think the recurring error in your films is not having good enough actors, which is understandable because you might not have access to them and might have to resort to friends and close acquaintances. If this isn't the case, then you have to get a better feel, and be more sensible, of good and bad performances. BAD ACTING RUINS THE ENTIRE FILM. Acting is just as important as every other aspect of production, maybe even more. Actors are what immerses the audience to the story. If that falls flat, the whole film falls flat. No matter how good the story or cinematography.
In terms of specifics, Kim was the only one that I'd say has potential. The only criticism with her is that I'd say she could be better directed in some scenes, but other than that, she was great. Everyone else felt lacklustre. Rui Shang I'd say is the worst. Not just in this film, but in every other of your films. I can't be the only one that's noticed.
Weirdly enough, seeing the trailer for the feature version of this film, I think the short film was probably better produced. Maybe because it was more contained. Sometimes, creating a big film can lack believability because there are so many more things you need to do. And with a small team, it's impossible to pull it off. At least not to Hollywood's standards.
Again, please don't take this the wrong way, but I think to improve your films, you have to be a bit more selective of your actors and know how to properly direct them to get the best out of them. You could either take this as a valid criticism moving forward, or this can just be another comment to ignore haha. Either way, I want you to improve as a filmmaker. So good luck on your journey. It's very apparent that you put a lot of hard work into your films.
I thought the time was in a loop and there would just be more and more of them appearing until the house was crowded.
When a short film is REALLY good you want it to be much longer. I want it to be much longer.👍
Really well put together mate, I can see a lot of effort has gone into your execution of purposeful shots and lighting to build atmosphere. Nailed both of those aspects, fantastic!!
I'm kind of lost how come the house kept changing and they couldn't get out and then there was double of everybody what was the purpose of that

my stomach turns by seeing all this extremely extatic praises of your 'movie' and not a single mispraisel, something is wrotten in the state of Danmark. The internet simple does not praise below average like it's the next
I don't know what gave it away, but I knew it was a type of time loop shortly after the film started...I would love to see more though! Maybe the reason as to why there is a time loop in this specific manor? An origin story? The loop also seems to turn you evil or turn you into another person altogether. Or maybe, the "doppelgangers" have seen so many of their own selves go in and out of this manor that they evidently turn evil? Giving up on life and escaping altogether?
Reminds me of the film Triangle
I like it. You could run with the Love/Hate relationships between characters to see who lives and who dies. Still needs the creepy caretaker! Thanks and break a leg.

I really love Horror movies and this short one made me want to see the continue. There are many horror that doesn't have the SUSPENSE feeling but here since the protagonists entered the house it never went away. really intresting, I will keep waiting, we need more new horror where Andy can go and make a new Tiktok video 😂😂😂

Interesting use of holding shots, with a continuous soundtrack that might help keep the scene transitions fluid as the camera work. Good job ramping things up to the climax, the color grading got better as the short progressed.

I agree but the resolution left so much unfinished and unfulfilling. Acting was a bit stiff, the cinematography and lighting was exceptional, really enjoyed everything on that aspect. The story and concept was intriguing and I got hooked going into the climax but the resolution left me going...really?
I've been tripping on thornapple (datura) once. It was very much like this: suddenly lights on or off. Doors on different places.

The car wasn’t switched. If you watch again on the opening scene on the wide when it’s pointing at the Manor. Laura was first to arrive looking up at the Manor, her car was to her right parked.

I was just watching a bunch of different short films for exploratory purposes, now I am def going to watch this movie when it's done. This also inspires me to create a proof-of-concept short for my current project rather than continuing to bemoan the impossibility of fitting the script into a shorter one. The point is, after all, for the short to lead to a longer version and so should be unsatisfying plot-wise. A teaser short. Excited to watch the film!

No matter how cocky you think you are when you find yourself lost in a haunted place whatever is there will make you change your tune ,if not it will take you with ease as we see here. It's just my guess they have found some sort of Funeral Home or asylum & not what they thought it was. Nice to see the shape at the window at the end as it was what she was hoping to see, now i believe it's her.
This reminds me of a great spooky play, "The Haunting of Hill House," that I saw last Fall. Well done!
