Thank you to everyone who has watched our short film so far! We had so much fun making “Auditorium 13” and despite having no budget, using borrowed equipment and having a crew of only 5 people we are so proud of the final product! It’s not perfect (we are definitely hiring a sound mixer for our next one 😅) but we hope you enjoyed watching it. Since this is only our second short film as an independent production company, we view each project as a learning experience. So any and all feedback is welcome and greatly appreciated. We’re also planning to create more short form content in the near future to share some of the lessons we learn along the way so stay tuned for more videos coming soon! Thanks again for watching! P.S. We hid a few extra things in the background of a few scenes, so if you didn’t catch those watch it again and keep your eyes peeled! 😉
Definitely wouldn't have noticed the low budget at all!! (Well...outside of the fact that the girl who trained him is seen @ 5:23 in the white shirt leaving with the audience outside theater #10!)
Well done! If this is your second short film, you’re doing great. That’s a tense story, but the call-back scene with the keys was the scariest. Immediately, we understand why the douchebag boss never gets his keys back…chilling!
Great job shareing this amazing movie like this one on your RUclips channel sending me more amazing short films on my RUclips channel keeping up the great work
This was really good and creepy. You can see the entity in the background throughout the film. The really creepy part was seeing "Bobby" in the background at 9:10-9:21, as the female coworker was telling the haunted history of the theater. He was standing there like he was a coworker listening to other coworkers gossiping about him. 😂
Made me think of me when I was playing AVP2 as a facehugger, hanging around in corridors, listening to the gossip of security guards as I searched for a guard on his own to facehug!!!!
Somebody has to tell them that if they press reboot, the thing will obviously restart, the shutdown icon is just on the left. The problem is not the ghost, it's a chair-keyboard issue.
Pretty good well done low budget but I was scared the guy that played the theater manager I've had bosses like him doesn't care about anybody but himself was a low-budget flick but it was very scary I've been in a theater complex when you're leaving a flick around 11 the place is deserted there's only a few employees and the hallways are very spooky this is the way I felt like here
Hi! I'm the writer/director of Auditorium 13, I really like your comment as I'm always looking for good constructive criticism. So I was curious if you could elaborate on what you mean by the pacing letting the actor down? Thank you for watching!
Good eye! If you look even closer, TWO of his coworkers actually come out of theater lol Almost every crew member also doubled as extras in one or two scenes. Low-budget filmmaking in the time of COVID means a lot of creative problem solving 😅
I remember when I used to work for Disney back in 2000 and I was doing custodial work and I had to go clean up a whole big giant office and I was in there by myself all the alarm clocks was going off by itself radios are coming on and I started hearing a funny noises and I got the hell out of there...lol
That was good and very creepy but I would never take no closing shift and close a place by myself. I would have to tell the manager somebody has to be there with me....
Wow, I really felt sorry for that main character! He is just trying to work an honest job & encounters an evil ghost. Good job on this script, I could tell you really could relate to a retail/small business worker. As to the horror part, the menacing details were good too. A bit more backstory or fight between the Baddie & the main character would have been fun, but still... good job!
Lots of potential. Not bad at all for newcomers. You're def weak in some areas but after reading your 📌 comment you seem to be pretty aware of what needs work. So yeah....sound, sync, and acting need to be sharpened....nonetheless good work! Your best is yet to come!

I always liked a theater being a setting for horror.
Well done! Time to submit this one to Alter...
@HardrightBiGirl Certainly possible. Still good exposure.
You definitely know how to show the life of a cineplex employee! And to build a spooky story around it.
The 1st time these short horror movies has literally given me the chills …..hands down A+++ Excellent Job👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I liked the touch of the voice overlap at 9:06 when the coworker says "Bobby"; caught me completely off guard! Well done.
Great short....definitely delivered the scare factor....👍
Alternate ending would be that the manager finds the keys on the floor, picks them up and says "Well at least this one left the keys"
Wow thanks for the heart!!
Great idea! Thanks for watching!
That's actually more the ending I was expecting! :) This was good, but that would have made it 'more apt', given the script.

I was rooting for the main character :-( But I feel the film's pacing let the actor down. He did good regardless.

Did anyone peep how his coworker was one of the people that came out of the theaters? 😂
I noticed that as well.

Nice camera work . The audio levels need to be raised a little
I agree. If he would’ve had the volume turned up a little bit then this would’ve been good.

Super 💞💞💞💞💞👍👍👍👍💞💞💞💞
Good short Film (Horror)
Best time of year is October because of Halloween and then November 1st Christmas season begins
But this is I don't understand why is it in all these scary movies someone goes to the door and the door automatically locks that is insane...
Very creepy!
Baja blazers - 2021 55
David is gorgeous 😍
What was with the look on Kate’s face at 3:19? Lol
in a strange way it sort of reminds me of the shinning
Um, I don’t think he should have taken that job
Lol the actor looks like he had a hickey. Great movie tho!
Why would he even go behind the curtains???
Alright
