@Luv2Comment069 It shouldnt be a golden heart status surely, this should be a normal stance with everyone with loved ones in the world, even if space is a problem, make do and mend, theres always a charity helping status for legit ones out there (Im speaking from UK here) we have you tubers now in abundance with help of all sorts of medical needs etc we should take heed of and use....no need for putting our elders in care homes come on guys!!! Even a one bed flat is useable and flexible enough rather than putting Mom/Pop/whoever in a care home???? you godda be kiddin me!

Ok if dementia strikes and takes hold....Mom/PoP dont even know you anymore....they are pissing themselves, cant wash or dress themselves trying to get out the door/windows/ screaming at times....I know of this.....its GOT to be better than placing them in a "Care" home ffs!!! Be prepped if poss take heed make amends if ya have to but dont let them go, love them till the end, they could come back and open up all your kitchen cupboards and throw your chairs in the air and scare the shit out of you to get their own back.....now we dont want that do we ? Always keep the humour......its ok. xxx

Lots of details missing from this very short interview. Susan had been fired by four other dialysis facilities prior to working at DaVita and none of them reported her to the nursing board which is why she was able to keep getting jobs. She was stealing demerol from at least two of her prior employers and the last one she was caught trying to cheat a urine test they wanted her to take to see if opiates were in her body. On top of that there are the domestic violence incidents with her first husband where she was violent towards him to the point he had to flee with their kids in the middle of the night to his moms house. While fleeing a drunk Susan chased after him, the police got called and she was citied for several offenses and prohibited from being at or around her husbands moms house. This woman was bat shit crazy and it’s a failure of her prior employers to report her that lead to the deaths of those individuals. It’s scary to think that a nurse can be fired over and over again without being reported to the nursing board allowing them to get a new jobs where the new employer is unaware of their prior issues…

No after two and a half years got a transplant ( thank you God) so just have visits to hospital and lots of meds.
You are physically and mentally drained can't move for between two and a half four hours whilst attached to the machine. You think that once you're home you'll do this and that it's impossible especially at the beginning end up asleep for hours. I think it's the mental strain the feeling of being completely reliant on a machine. Then of people you get to know passing away, giving up refusing the treatment it was very hard.

My mother almost died twice at a clinic while receiving dialysis. Luckily she had her cell phone with her and called me. Within seconds I got to a second phone and called their front desk while I kept talking to her on my cell phone. She even told me as we were on the phone that she was waving for help the entire time. This crisis went on for about seven or eight minutes and I was absolutely terrified no one was going to pay attention or discover her before she either went unconscious or even died. The next thing I know I hear her phone slip down and I hear a couple of nurses saying , “Stay with us! Stay with us!” It was the worst most powerless feeling. Luckily she survived both incidents but I was deeply disturbed and concerned over the lack of care she was getting. I was hoping we would learn more from this interview. There has to be more details.

      This has happened before.
There was a nurse in England, who worked in the NICU.
She poisoned several infants to death.
Other places she had worked, had noticed some suspicious deaths when she was on rotation so they would fire her and that was it…
None of the former places of employment ever made a police report, even to note the suspicious deaths or called the nursing board or anything like that to prevent her from being in a position to hold life in her hands
And several of her colleagues had had suspicions of her.
So it doesn’t surprise me that a nurse would be able to slip under the radar like this.
      It’s despicable

When she avoided answering the question about the bruises on the woman’s mother, I began to doubt her protestations as to her innocence. Also, from the outset of the interview, she immediately insinuated that the company was only interested in profits, thereby casting doubts as to the company’s version of the story. However, the jury heard all the evidence and found her guilty.
It is amazing how some guilty people seem to genuinely believe the lies they have made up about themselves. I think in her case, she desperately wants to believe that she is not guilty. She cannot bear to think of herself as the “monster” who would commit such a heinous crime. In the many cases I’ve heard like this, any motivation for these types of murders perpetrated by health care providers is never given, but only surmised by the prosecutors. Often, the perp will say they were assisting suffering patients to help them escape pain. This is a load of b.s. I believe these types of murders are done by people who feel little control over their own lives, and this act of playing God by taking the life of a vulnerable person is the ultimate act of control. Sociopathy.

You don't clean the lines while the patient is on the machine.... and by lines it means the lines to the machine not lines going to the patients. We never put bleach in syringes either. Not ever in a syringe we give medication in. Bleach is never in the area where medications are drawn. You would have to work in a center to know the procedure. You cannot accidentally draw up bleach and give it to a patient. Also bleach would have to be heavily concentrated in the water lines. If they tested the water lines and found bleach then all the staff would be in trouble and not just her unless she didn't check the bleach test in the water room before the center opened. All the patients would have died not just a few. Her story is sketchy.

@@Nook747 not yet - my father's in his early 90's and mother mid 80's. They have six children so when the time comes we plan on taking turns with care. I'm a nurse, but plan on having caregivers help. I agree it's a tremendous amount of time and work - but I've seen the nursing homes - and even the highest rated ones are mediocre

This killer said she had good nurses once and wanted to be like them but ended up murdering people in her care who trusted her. I had bad nurses when I was sick and wanted to be a good nurse because it was what I felt was necessary in the healthcare system. Not once did I ever consider hurting my patients. It was an honor to have their trust and I treated that trust as the most important thing in the world.

With my skin, I can only take a shower when I don't smell the bleach. Talk about tip toeing through the tulips. Ugh. I'm very aware. My nose, knows. Really bad for my conditions, I can just smell it is there. I'm just aware 🤢🤢🤢!

She just started speaking and the first red flag for me is when she says: I found myself working at a dialysis clinic. Really? I would have thought you chose to work there. You applied online, provided a resume, went for an interview, completed weeks of orientation, you are not dropped off there against your will. As an RN myself we have lots of options of where we will work, if she didn't like working at this facility I'm sure it was a nearby hospital or nursing home where she could have found employment

As someone whose father is on dialysis 3x a week, and in desperate need of a donor.. had she done this to him, or any of my loved ones (God forbid), I would be the one giving an interview from prison.
