- Former criminals and investigators rate crimes in movies and television shows for realism.
Pieter Tritton is a public speaker on the dangers of drugs. He was formerly a drug trafficker in the UK. He then began importing cocaine from Ecuador to Europe through a cartel connection and was arrested in Ecuador and sentenced to 12 years in one of the world's most violent and corrupt prisons. Tritton discusses the accuracy of drug-trafficking methods depicted in "Narcos," featuring Pedro Pascal, and "Breaking Bad," with Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, and Giancarlo Esposito.
John Pennisi is a former member of the Lucchese crime family who, after feeling he was betrayed by the family, cooperated with the FBI and became a government witness. Pennisi rates "The Sopranos," as well as "The Godfather," starring Al Pacino and Marlon Brando.
Cain Vincent Dyer is a motivational speaker and a former bank robber. He says he robbed over 100 banks across California between 1999 and 2001 before turning himself in, pleading guilty to six robberies and serving nine years in prison. He rates bank-robbery scenes in "Money Heist" and "The Dark Knight."
Mark Silverman, formerly associated with the Irish Mob in Boston, rates Irish Mob scenes in "The Departed," starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon; "The Town," starring Ben Affleck; and "Black Mass," starring Johnny Depp.
Octave Durham, a former thief, and Arthur Brand, an art detective, rate diamond and art heist scenes in "Black Panther," starring Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan, and "Ocean's 8," starring Sandra Bullock.

Ex-Gang Members And Criminals Rate 61 Gangs And Heists In Movies And TV | How Real Is It? | Marathon
This channel has convinced me to abandon my apprenticeship and follow my dream of becoming a career criminal
Unlucky, my friend.
Sign up to be a cop.
They have the best scam going.
I hope you like prison food....lol
Why was I thinking the same thing?🫡 because the black guy said he robbed 100 banks and he doesn’t look old or anything so obviously he didn’t do that much time
It's not hard if you go hard AF. The problem? You have to scare ypur junkies more than the police scare the junkies, and by enough of a margin that they will get sick to stay out of your crossfire.
That's not a normal behavior for junkies. They rat as soon as they get denied a high and start to get sick.
Watching the Italian mob guy offer serious commentary on the futurama scenes is one of the best things I’ve ever seen. I give it a 9/10
He did a bad job, because he was rating the movies based on how the mob works today, for example, he says "being made was the lowest point of my life", that's how he feels now after he cooperated, but that's not how he felt when he was made, then he says, they don't use violence today so I'm gonna give this a 4, but the movie was made in 1985 back when they were finding bodies in car trunks allover NYC, he's not very intelligent.
The energy between the art detective and the art thief is hilarious. The detective is like they made it exciting a 7 and the the thief is like that's not possible no one would do that 2! 😂
The diamond theif and art detective were super interesting.
The bank robber is hella cute
The one in the movie
I remember watching a bank robbery on live news, 2 men dressed in head to foot in bullet proof armour walking casually down the street taking the whole of the LAPD on with AK 47s. They could not stop them if you didnt know you would have thought it was a movie.
99.9% certain that you know..
Both men died on scene.
@@childofgod6860 I thought one survived a cop did an interview and he said one of them who was in the car told him just put one through my head maybe he died later it was like watching a film that's the point I was making
That was a one off, and silly.
If you wanna succeed, you hit trucks. The armored cars carry the cash. When I was 8, I got that education. I was on a school bus that stopped at a red light near a Nations Bank. There was an armored car that pulled up, then a 1988-90 Plymouth Voyager, and 4 men jumped out, then the driver pulled up ahead of the armored truck.
All 4 men had white T shirts, Blue bananas. And blue jeans. Also AK47s.
They shot the guard loading the cart, and when the other guards came out and jumped from the front of the truck, they shot them too.
Then they loaded a bunch of stuff into the van before we even passed the light, they were done and running into stagnant traffic. They shot at people to move them. They even shot up our school bus. We had 20+ bullets come through one side then the other.
@@childofgod6860not before a million bullets were sprayed..
They did make a movie about it & can watch on youtube.
Great episode!!!!! Great job!!! Give the editor a raise he ended it perfectly! Top teir ending!
"Hitler stole alot of paintings" 😂 he's also a comedian
Please add chapters to the video.
No you must watch it all.
Love this channel and it continues to be one of my favorites!
Good to see Pieter!
This man sounds like he is still in the business.
It's hard to get out of that business. Opportunities present themselves sometimes.
When you been dormant for years, it's the best time to strike honestly. Just make sure you aren't identified.
Which man?
If you are gonna lie you've gotta have a very very good memory..
Shout out to the casting person who brought all these people in here
I got an “ Insider “ make too much you tube money not to have a time stamp “Insider”’ lol we all want to watch all the movies
I watched this with my 84yo grandfather who was born and raised in Dorchester and with the first guy he just kept saying "no" over and over again I'm 35 and just learned a lot about my grandfather
Homeboy from the Genevese family just got off in his feelings and made it a 3 lol
Man thx to all involved in this theses are always so good .
8 million subscribers, 4 day old video, 1.4k likes and under 100 comments? Hmm...
Great video. Why no Wallace & Gromit, Wrong Trousers in Art heist section.
WOW. That was very interesting.... They are all very smart men, and to see how their mind works was Fascinating!! But the dynamic and work the last two men do is so opposite it's pretty much the PERFECT COLLABORATION!!! The personal stories they could tell would never get old.
Anyways, very much enjoyed this story.
Damn, who woulda thought Don Lemon was an ex bank robber 🤨🤣
He is beyond in his feelings giving The Godfather a 7… no wonder he didn’t make it in the life
Very intelligent men I must say
Read the book. Marching powder. Its about a British feller who get stitched up and goes to prison in Peru. Its a very good read.
The mafia guys are such goobers
Boondock Saints is not supposed to be an accurate portrayal of mobsters, just two Irish putting them down
By no means is dangling from the ceiling, tied up, spinning around to be considered an effective, tactically sound breaching strategy for anyone experienced in that kind of work, however 😂 pure Hollywood entertainment stuff
You KNOW John Penisis grew up tough
Hahahaha yeah 100% if we're thinking the same thing
If you’re gonna have a Penisis, better it’s a hard Penisis
The Boondock saints scene they didnt mean to come through the ceiling like that. They accidentally fell through but then improvised and started shooting. Still not realistic but it also wasnt intentional.
Right?! They got into a fight and fell through the ceiling😂😂😂
That grey-blue eye color is a family thing among the Bulgers. I was engaged to a cousin of Whitey Bulger. No, no crime as far as I'm aware. Her dad owns a roofing company with like 15 employees. I've met all of her uncles, and they're all above board and far more wealthy than I've ever lived, like one's the head of marketing for Church's Chicken and another is a small business consultant and, oddly enough, the voice of Jeffrey the Giraffe from Toys R Us. Engagement fell apart after she decided she couldn't wait one more week for me to come home when I was stationed across the country and slept with someone else.
As someone who spent their youth involved with things quite similar to braking bad - and before I even watch this - Breaking bad is scary good at capturing the exact vibe. From my experience, very accurate... I assume these guys are going to say its not accurate but we shall see.
The one episode where Mike takes Jesse in the car with him to do his rounds and Jesse thinks he going to drive him out into the desert to kill him and has his keys in his fist just waiting for it to pop off and haveto fight for his life. I did that, I got in that car and felt that exact way and even had my keys in my fist just like him, ready. (This was around 2003 ish for me) Literally, and every time I watch it I can't help but be amazed at how well they captured that feeling of being unsure and not knowing what's going to happen... if your about to be killed or not but you still get in the car.
Check out cookers also very good
That last guy always so cocky, cant even be humbled when buddy beside hlis like "this really happened"
Those men weren't remorseful. They're simply using their expertise in a smarter way.
This was far too entertaining a segment, makes criminals look all sweet and fun. Maybe too much so, but they also seem contrite and real about what they did.
The "ex" dealer has either wrecked his sinuses or he's still an active user - stuffy nose don't lie bro
That’s Peter Tritton, he was injected with TB in an Ecuadorean prison and it damaged his lungs
He was injected with TB in prison
We're not setting up personal IRA or diversifying portfolios lol
This was crazy. Thanks 👍
So 7% completion and you can become a famous art detective 🕵️♂️ so you can be a horrible lazy inspector solve 3% of your cases and be considered average …….. I found my new career choice 😂😂😂😂
I dont want any money, but this underboss knows where everything is @insider
Drop Cain Vincent’s skincare routine. His skin is glowing.
Excellent video
Amanda Assante was the only one who came anywhere close to playing Gotti
So happy to see that they included Dog Day Afternoon!
lmao blue shirt lawyer at the end is the boss. (button up shirt with glasses, watch him cross his arms too, but all his body language is easy to read) edit: nevermind, he is an under boss
Bank robbery is super shiny
Somebody please list all the movies in chronological order I’ll cash app you lol 🙏🙏
Hi there I have listed all the movies for you in the chronological order as per the video. Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks.
Plenty of corruption still.
Watching this as I build a building in Weston….Lexington, Newton, Wellesley….tough area. Lol
The bus isn’t wrecked but the brake light and stuff are broke
They went with those masks so that DeNiro's stunt man could take that walk
who tf did the audio
120k views and only 850 likes, so every 140th person Liked it, I dont think it was that bad, at least we got real people’s perspective to this whole criminal element. That’s kinda low on likes 🤷♂️
It's kind of a thing lurkers do. I do it all the time: Watch but leave no comment, or approval.
Very happy I stumbled on this. Quite fascinating to see such judgements.
Would be interesting to watch one about cop shows, though I know from what I've learnt through research that most are terribly unrealistic.
Why does this make me wanna jump in on the robbery game
Don't they get board with the same old story's?
The ending was perfect! This was a great video.. kudos
This video is both interesting to me and probably also required watching for wannabe criminals
I literally have been in prison with some of the most Infamous criminals in british history and I know this lot embellish their stories.they dont live in a movie if you've not noticed most of this B.D.L
Sound exactly the same 🤷♂️
I already watched all these episodes. Tricking people into giving you views
I was hoping they sprinkled some new stuff in it... nope
Thanks for the heads up
First guy left organised crime because he didn't like where it was going morally.
Process that
Dont know when this was filmed. The guy octave is from the netherlands like me. But some videos of him surfaced in which he looks to be on something like crack
Time Stamp = Millions + Views 💰💰🤞
How can he sit there in that nice suit after 100 armed bank robberies? If be locked up for life
I *think* (but I could be mistaken because I saw it like 20 years ago) that it was an accident that they came down upside down spinning. They got tangled in the rope somehow and fell through the ceiling. Not that that makes it any more realistic lol
Respect ‼️ and Fear‼️ARE 2 DIFFERENT THINGS with 2 DIFFERENT DEFINITIONS ➡️ To understand one from the other CLEARLY 💎
For the bank robbery part i was wondering if they somehow would leave out Heat
As an Italian I would like not to see a mafia filth.
The boondocks saints accidentally became hitmen hence why it was so crazy they did not want to be Hitman. They were dragged into it
Deadmans eyes look through your soul..
The marvel spiderman comment made no fookin sense the real nighttime bid of a lit up bank showed clearly inside, just like the film... the reflections overcoming that clear internal light source would by devinition have to be brighter.
The reflections examples they showed were only in the daytime
Im gonna assume he mixed up something
You should be ashamed of yourself only showing the parts that make the situation"prove you point" I've watched the full length videos of all these and short lady was pulled over for riding on the street, not on the sidewalk. Her settlement was for what happened at the home. The ATF agent that was tazzed, failed to notify local police he was conducting activity on that area, he refused to cooperate in the beginning, then refused to follow a lawful order to lay down.
Why can't the Winter Hill Gang and South Boston get along?
You know why...
Straighten out 😂 in the uk that means you had ya arse handed to you😂
Same in the us this is crime only
You work on your own, you trust yourself only, you must not fall, 100% self belief. Only you,are capable of beating them .
Never Ever rely on anyone or anything to be reliable. Only, Only if you CAN, trust your skills, and BE Lucky. Nothing is totally down to your talents.Bad luck is waiting for ANY one, at ANY time. Just Karma for the human being. Being bad can bite your Life, and keep you down to Earth.
sometimes buried 6ft in a coffin, or worse.......
Love the way that first guy says depaaatment, Boston born all the way lol, oh and they keep el chapo in the supermax in Colorado btw
No drug or exciting social event or occasion will ever surpass the adrenalin dump while actioning a bank robbery. Up and down are extreme beyond belief. Money great, arrest at gun point effing scary and being sentenced to 18 years completely demoralising. Reality is a weird state of being on occasion.
He was cooking to those police officers
The amber room is still missing
So reformed Oaky stole the 17mill. Picasso?
If you want to get away walk, don't run. Do your crime at the busiest time of day walk? Don't run
to the former bank robber \marinr is there a movie out about him ?
What has Robert De Niro done for NY? NOTHING
Besides employing people at his production company, various restaurants and his hotel?
Besides the Tribeca Film Festival?
Dope.
@@jamespohl-md2eq😊
Somebody is in their feelings because of De Niro being in the news lately for having an opinion on (convicted felon) Trump. When its somebody like Kid Rock, they applaud em, when its someone who is critical of Trump, they say "shut up and act, play ball, sing, whatever" funny how that happens.
Bro they Oky and the Art Detective are the epitome of a 'buddy cop' movie irl 😊 I can't die happy unless Oky n Inspector Jacques Clouseau go to Hollywood 😂
I carry two phones one for work and one of my own🤷♂️
Just my opinion a gang is a gang of people who have no loyalty until your in jail together what kind of family is that? Even then you really need to watch your back!
The bloody bean
The boondock saints.. they are not mobsters
guy with the Boston Charleston zip code in the movie the town. was an ex bank robber . of good ol c-town
Ah yes, very instructive.
Insider is the Cantina Band of youtube. "Any requests? Okay, the same video again!".
WAR IS EVIL
I always thought Di Caprio was miscast. Walberg should have played that character.
As far as the scene from "HEAT," I thought the same as they put their mask on. but the night before, they cut into the CCTV and thus wasn't filmed
😂 the Hatton garden job, making calls and telling girlfriend's is an absolute SCHOOL BOY ERROR.
considering they were lads to not know that you tell no one is insanity.
People talk, so just SHUT UP.😮😮
these children have stolen oranges from the orchards in Jaffa
Boondocks saints is a comedy, not an accurate historical drama, so yeah it's a 2 in accuracy but a 10 in dumb fun enjoyment
I bet sammy clams never spoke 😊
Any chance ur leaving ur home is ur que he still in that life 😂😂😂
Im having hard time understanding everything the second guy is saying
The white robber has a PhD in yappanese, holy crap. I love a good story as much as the next guy, but this dude's 'train' equivalent is heists. Dude had a story for everything and took so much time
Are those guys he banned even Irish 'Mafia' if they're not Irish? Wheezing at him saying Irish criminals don't have Irish accents. As if Irish crime in Ireland isn't a thing
