Disney's "The Feather Farm" Season 16 Ep 4

From Season 16 of Walt Disney's Disneyland Anthology program we have Episode 4: The Feather Farm which originally aired on October 26th, 1969. It's 1915 and ostrich feathers are such a popular accessory to ladies' wardrobes that South African ostrich farms are unable to keep up with the demand. In response, a Boston socialite and her niece decide to open an ostrich ranch. Nancy and her Aunt Carrie buy three birds, hire two ranch hands, and head back to Boston, confident of success. Almost as soon as the owners leave, the hired help runs into trouble. Starring Nick Nolte as Les, Mel Weiser as Shorty, Christine Coates as Nancy and Shirley Fabricant as Aunt Carrie. Narrated by Rex Allen!
