Absolutely my favorite song of theirs and I feel is the best song yet! Building intro.. Mayu's vocal mix of screams, growls and clean and her english, Hazuki and Saki's solos, Haraguchi-san bass line and Tamu drumming just amazing, brilliant, awesome.. and simply some of the best out there today. Loved the video location and the ladies looks so frickin beautiful, loved the wind swept hair! Thank you for reacting to this video.
This structure is Meiji Centennial Observation Tower, which "is in the south east corner of Tokyo bay. It's actually in Futtsu park in Chiba prefecture," to quote paul anderson This song made the day brighter for me, to be honest. Lots of energy and great musicianship and Mayu´s vocals are the cherry on top. It is really great, for instance, how they put together that visual of her running with such guitar riff and galloping drum section not to even mention what Haraguchi is doing there. That guitar is Ibanez RG j.custom series and my guess is that Hazuki might have purchased it because she liked it and because the other guitarst in another band she is in also has inlay artwork on her Ibanez guitar´s fretboard. The other guitarist is Li-sa-X - a child prodigy.
I think that guitar might actually be her new Signature guitar with Ibanez. She had one with them, and RDG model, but she showed up on twitter today with a picture holding that guitar. I am probably wrong, but I hope so, I am looking into getting an Ibanez electric, and would love to get something like that. I love the Tree of Life inlay. I have always wanted to get one of Steve Vai's Sig guitars, or one of the ones in the Jem/Universe series.
@@CaptainFaceBeard It is a Ibanez RG8527ZSDE RG J.Custom Series (Sodalite) . She is signed with Ibanez, so I'm sure they sponsored her with it (she used ESP before). All Killer guitars have the one knob by itself (even the 6 strings). That is Saki's signature model (Killer KG-Fascinator Seven the Empress).
They rock hard and just had a online live concert Sunday that was superb .Revive is also the name of there first full album 11 songs out December 15 .J metal is taking the world by storm there a so many great bands out there and mostly all girl as well .Doing any Nemo songs from there YT will please you they dont do average lol .Great reaction and keep the Nemo songs coming please.
We are already planning to record another one on Wednesday. We are SO excited to see their cover of "Youth Gone Wild". We are going to try to check them out as regularly as possible, but some weeks we might have a bit too much stuff on the go.
Over the weekend they did a Live Concert. Don't know if you caught it. But if you didn't, You can still watch the replay as much as you want until the 24th. The link is in their video description.
My memory of Testament songs if foggy except for "Souls of Black" and "Electric Crown". You are totally on the right track, it has that feel from that era of metal, but more brutal.
When I first heard this, I was reminded of early Halestorm. Could that be it? Great reaction by the way. Oh....and on another note, the "Wolfpack" is abuzz right now. Lovebites vocalist, Asami, has just announced her marriage.
Oh wow, that is awesome. I will try to mention that in the reaction to them we do for this week. We are doing Lovebites on Saturdays now. We are excited for their Skid Row cover they released a few days back, and I think that is what it might have been actually reminding me of. Heavier feel of the songs off "Slave To The Grind".
I see what I did, I changed subjects without any warning. I had meant Nemophila, but didn't mention them, just kept talking, HAHA. Reading it again it I am getting a good laugh.
Hahaha, I realized that after posting. That's why I deleted it. They do a good job on the Skid Row cover. Though my wife said: "She's no Sebastian Bach." Fair enough. She had a crush on him back in the day. Looking forward to it!
She seems like she would. We are SUPER excited because we will be listening to another of their songs this week. They just released a cover of Skid Row's "Youth Gone Wild".
@ Ron Foster. That's it! "Love Bites" from Halestorm. It is so similar especially rhythm and tempo! Don't get me wrong, this are two totally different songs, but still so similar. Strange.😊
Not that strange. Both songs might seen different because of they Key they are in might not be the same, but the Riff is similar or song structure is similar. Gonna give the Riff a listen later, as well as "Love Bites" and see how they compare.

This band is awesome and it's great that they are active! The have sever original songs and covers. If you've heard of Maximum the Hormone, they cover one of their songs. If you want original try live versions of Raitei or Oiran 🤘😊🤘
I forget the exact name of the location but I do know it's the Southeastern part of Tokyo bay. I have been there several times myself when I was stationed in Japan with the Navy.
Saki's guitar is a Killer who are a part of ESP. The lonely E string seems pretty happy where it's at being a part of a Saki signature model "Fascinator Empress 7". As for sowing the seeds of J-Metal - do it! The more support, the more they'll make music, wonderful music, non-pretentious music, music people want. More J-Metal than you could poke a stick at. Nicely done, and nice catch from both on the guitar details. Nemophila putting their metal attitude on show once again.
I want to see that point in the long long ago where there was some guy with a stick poking things, and shaking the stick at things, then writing down "more than I was able to poke a stick at", "less than I was able to poke a stick at", "equal to the poking ability of the stick", "I wonder what those berries taste lik..... ahhhggggg" 👻
You are really mean people. Now I also remeber that vibe from another band and do not exactly know, who it was. Driving me also crazy now. ARGGGHHH !!!!!
They do, someone mentioned that in another comment, and I can see the comparison. Still very unique. I haven't heard many females that do harsh vocals have the kind of "Raspy Shriek" she has in her voice. It has an evil impish quality to it in the best of ways. I can easily imagine her covering a Cradle Of Filth song.
Were you thinking of Kittie? Being an older chap, I almost dismissed Nemophilia as a Japanese concept band along the lines of Jpop, where the girls are chosen for their looks and cuteness (kawaii). I soon found out they can play the instruments live and do not rely on studio trickery and effects. I now see them as a younger and angrier Lovebites 😀
Younger, angrier, Lovebites is a great comparison. I see what you mean, if I only saw a picture of the band, I could easily mistake them as something put together by a record company. I also see why you say Kittie, her voice has the harshness, but also a higher pitch. She has the TRVE CVLT shrieks going on. ALSO if you are listening to music like this an loving it, you are far from being an "Old Chap". 🤘☠🤘
@@CaptainFaceBeard What I find so tragic with one or two exceptions of the still rocking bands out there after many years, is that all my friends go and see tribute or hashed together bands with maybe one original member from the 70's and 80's.
