Speaking of The Simpsons Movie, you could make a whole video with how much got cut from that movie. The dvd commentary talks about many jokes and ideas that didn't make it in, (Milhouse originally been Lisas boyfriend, and Marge going crazy in church instead of Grandpa for example)
Well funnily enough I happened to already made a video on that. So if you haven’t seen it check it out if your interested. m.ruclips.net/video/rrY1kQCEcNo/видео.html
Honestly, I feel they should've kept the jokes from the animatic in Un-Normal Activity (except for the cinnamon joke, having the Moe Demon being the one screaming it is funnier)
Excellent video…but the Troy McClure/Ed McMahon scene is almost definitely untrue. 1) They claim the scene was fully animated but Hartman never recorded his lines. That is ridiculous. Voice acting for cartoons are always done at the storyboard and animatic stage, long before the animation is complete and ready to air. 2) The idea for the scene comes from an unsourced claim on Wikipedia.
That’s a good point but it’s possible Troy McClure was voiced by someone else like Dan Castellaneta in the original version of the scene like he voiced Troy once in the Season 2 episode Bart’s Dog Gets An F. There are some deleted scenes on dvds that has a character voiced by a different voice actor like Yeardley Smith voiced Marge in a deleted scene from You Only Move Twice ruclips.net/video/oOxAQMo9qv8/видео.html go to 0:09 and you see what I mean.
On the simpsons wiki, It said snowball (the cat) was originally going to appear because when I went to the episodes the cat appeared it and it said that snowball was storyboarded and deleted from the episode "Treehouse of Horror XXV"
@@DogDayFromPoppyPlaytime180 Well TOH lost Media from the golden age is mostly likely going to be hard to find, TOH 5 lost deleted scenes hasn’t been mentioned since the audio commentary from 2005, same as the original version of the scene of Phil Hartman from Hell Toupee hasn’t been mentioned since 2007 and there’s probably deleted scenes from the first four seasons that we don’t know about especially deleted scenes from Seasons 1-3 were never released on DVD. The only way those scenes could be found is that if either the seasons get a new DVD and Blu Ray release, a workprint of the episodes gets leaked online that features them, or someone that worked on the episodes have them in their possession. The re-render/widescreen version of Homer 3 is likely to be found because it has been confirmed 35mm film copies of Cyberworld 3D do still exist an official release however is less likely because 20th Century Fox is now owned by Disney and Dreamworks bought Pacific Data Images also they were shutdown in 2015 it’s also unknown if Fox or Dreamworks has it in their archives. TOH Lost Media from the middle years like the deleted scene in TOH 17 could possibly be found if someone that worked on the episode has a deleted scene in their possession or a workprint is leaked. The deleted credits scene from The Simpsons Movie could possibly get found if the deleted scenes from the movie itself will ever get something like an anniversary release but that’s up to Disney and the people that are charge of The Simpsons currently. Since some other deleted scenes have leaked like uploads on Vimeo it could get found in that way especially if a workprint gets leaked but only time will tell. Another possible answer which is less likely but if someone went to the test screening and captured a rough cut of the film back in the day but that’s unlikely since it’s not really common for people to record test screenings in general. Deleted scenes from the modern years now the deleted scenes from Un Normal Activity has been found but it’s unknown if it was fully animated. The audio commentary for TOH 23 or just the modern seasons in general from Simpsons World will probably be impossible to find as it seems like not much people archived it because most Simpsons fans don’t really care about episodes from Seasons 21-30 especially they probably didn’t care for the audio commentaries of those episodes. The only way they could see an official re-release is that once a season present after Season 20 gets a release on DVD or if Disney will ever add the option to listen to audio commentaries on Disney Plus. The deleted scenes from TOH 26 could only be found if it ever gets officially released on home video or if someone worked on the episode has it in their possession. Now the deleted scene from TOH 27 was officially uploaded on RUclips but it was later removed for unknown reason which the only way that could get found is if someone archived the upload or the scenes in general could get found if it ever gets officially released on home video or if someone worked on the episode has it in their possession. Maybe Al Jean has the deleted scenes as he did mention on Twitter in late 2016 but who knows. The deleted scenes from TOH 31 is already available online on such an obscure Vimeo upload, pretty strange it was never officially uploaded on RUclips but it’s better than nothing I guess. So that’s all the answers of the deleted scenes and other material will ever be found, hope this lengthy comment helps for the answers.
@@DogDayFromPoppyPlaytime180Yeah me too especially a Blu Ray release of Seasons 1-12 and 19. It would be neat to have the HD 4:3 masters from Disney Plus on Blu-Ray so that we could have those seasons in the most uncompressed way possible. Or the very least Disney should add bonus material to those seasons on Disney plus if their even interested especially the Tracy Ullman shorts. James L Brooks did said in March 2019 when Stark Raving Dad was removed he did mention future Blu ray releases so who knows hopefully that can happen soon, we’ll just going have to wait and see. Also you seemed very interested in my two Simpsons lost media topic videos I’ve made other uploads of rare or lost media from the show, I’m also thinking about a pieces of lost media video in the future, and I have found rare media that I will upload once when I get to post adult content on my channel, here’s a playlist I made of rare media from the franchise if your interested. 26:43 it could be because of time restraints or due to copyright
I really love The Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror. is there a chance of any of the media mentioned in this video being found?
Unfortunately no, a year later and the deleted scenes and stuff including the widescreen version of Homer 3 is still lost. At least as far as I know.
@@raretendo6879Is there any way to find them? By the way sorry for the late reply I never got a notification saying you replied to me
