Peter Sallis probably didnt enjoy doing this judging by the fact he has like 20% more dialogue. I think removing the York dialect ruined it, but seriously people new to English would understand like half of Wallace’s lines.

I imagine the intro's styling was changed from this workprint because on TVs of that era, the small size and motion blur on the credits would obscure the names. The workprint's ending also lacked a bit of oomph compared to the finalized version, due to inlaying the show name on the stand rather than creating a zoom out effect for the name.

I remember watching this and noticing the tears from the everyone was real and not acting. Death is a difficult subject for anyone and Sesame Street handled it in a way that not just kids but also adults could understand.
