- I visit my aunt and uncle's incredible home at Christmas (which Philip describes as the love child of Santa and Versailles). It was transformed by my cousin Amaury from a derelict ruin, as you'll see from the 'before' shots!

Oh my goodness I can’t imagine this undertaking no matter how young or strong. Amaury must have been quite young and yet so skilled in his abilities. It is obvious how happy your aunt and uncle are living in this beautiful home they’ve created. I loved all the Christmas decorations. So warm and cozy with the glow of all the lights. What talent runs in your family! The woodwork is amazing in the house and I love the conservation effort and willingness to work with nature. How very special that they built homes for the creatures. And what a gorgeous Christmas tree! It's all just beyond fantastic!

omg i wish we could have been along for the ride whilst you were restoring the barn. That settles it...Amaury HAS to have his own channel if he ever leaves Lalande. His work is Masterclass without a doubt. How wonderful would it be to be trained by him. I hope one day he considers training an apprentice. My goodness, what Amaury has achieved is totally mind blowing - his skill and craftsmanship are extraordinary. There can’t be very many individuals who could have done, or do, what he does. It would be fascinating to hear more of his story - although I suspect others would have to tell it as he’s so modest and unassuming xx

I absolutely adore your aunt and uncle. I can definitely see why Amaury is such a gentle, sweet, loving person. You are so lucky to be in such a close, happy family. Thank you, too your sunny and uncle, for showing us around their stunning home. I am a Patreon and saw the previous video in their home and was in awe of it. So it was such a treat to get to see in more detail and hear the stories of restoring it. Sounds like it was a crazy, stressful but wholly satisfying project and more they reap the joys of its completion. I was so impressed by all of Amaury’s work. He will be invaluable with your newest renovation needs. I also want to say what a stunning Christmas display they put on. They are amazing to get all that done. I’m at least 20 years younger than them and I don’t have the energy to decorate my house as fully and beautiful as they have. Thanks again 😊

I think the planets were lined up perfectly on the Day your Aunt and Uncle met to take on the property and make it what it is today and still you see the love and fun they both have for each other, and in there creative hearts the child Amaury was born as he has this deep natural take on perfection. But your aunt's character shines through in all the videos she is in as well as your uncles. Both seem like wonderfully cheerful people with an attitude of rolling up their sleeves and getting on with it.
