    YuenYeung Milk Tea ~ Cafe Bubble Tea Shop Recipe ~
    Watch me make my favorite recipe of 'YuenYeung' Milk Tea at my Bubble Tea Shop!
    In this video I will show you how to make 'YingYang" Milk Tea from Powder and a Nespresso Machine using restaurant grade professional quality ingredients used in Boba Shops all over the world.
    Also known as 'YuanYang' Milk Tea, it is a beverage of a coffee and tea mixture. Although this might seem out of the ordinary to Western tastes, it's very popular in Hong Kong and other Asian countries. Malaysia even has its own name for it: 'Kopi Cham'.
    Perhaps this tasty drink will be another addition to your boba shop menu!?
    Ingredients:
    ❤️ 2 Scoops Classic Milk Tea Powder (approx 2 Tablespoons)
    ❤️ 2 Scoops Creamer Powder (approx 2 Tablespoons)
    ❤️ 2 Pumps Fructose (14ml or .5 fl oz)
    ❤️ 40ml Espresso (1.35 fl oz)
    ❤️ 100ml Brewed Assam Black Tea (3.38 fl oz)*
    Directions:
    ❤️ Put the powders and fructose into the shaker cup.
    ❤️ Add 40ml of an Espresso shot and stir.
    ❤️ Add 100ml of the strong brewed black tea concentrate.
    *(check out my video how to make bubble tea shop Black Tea: • How to Brew Large Batc... )
    ❤️ Stir again and fill the shaker with ice all the way to the top.
    ❤️ Shake in a shaker machine for 1-minute.
    ❤️ Strain into your favorite bubble tea cup following the topping of your choice.
    ❤️ Enjoy!

      Hi Marietta,🧋🧋🧋
      The Nespresso brand offers different size pods and different strengths... For a larger drink, I'd consider doing a lungo shot. Or a long pour from a machine...
      Hope this helps 😇

      Sure!
      It is a Nespresso brand machine with Nespresso branded pods. This one is the Inissia model... But there are other smaller models as well available on the market.
      (Not sponsored, just have reliably used for over 5-years and in all my shops. All the customers respect the brand. Works well and tastes great!)

    Will you recommend a brand for milk tea flavors and fruit syrup
    in the USA?

    • @BubbleTeaKristin
      @BubbleTeaKristin  3 года назад

      Hi Efren,
      In the UK & Europe, I definitely recommend 'Boba Box UK'.
      I'm really not familiar with the USA at this time.
      I would recommend getting as many brands as you can find to send you samples of different drink items and try everything out before you commit to a large purchase.
      Hope that helps 😉

    Can you please share with us the espresso machine from?

    • @BubbleTeaKristin
      @BubbleTeaKristin  2 года назад +2

      Sure, it's a brand called Nespresso. They make small individual size pods for espresso shots. It is very easy for the staff to use, and the pods can be recycled through their program. In the long run it is a much cheaper addition to a bubble tea shop, as opposed to buying a super expensive espresso pull machine! Unless your shop particularly specializes in coffee beverages, in that case you may need to buy a large espresso machine and train your stuff up on it. But for the occasional espresso shot, I find the Nespresso brand and their small pre-measured pods to be perfect. 👏🏼

      I personally bought mine all through Boba Box here in the UK. But they also sell to the EU. They'll probably ship worldwide... But you'd have to ask, etc.
      If you're buying online, go for one under warranty, or with Excellent customer service support.

    • @BubbleTeaKristin
      @BubbleTeaKristin  3 года назад +1

      Honestly I can't remember... but I recall maybe Burco or SwitchedOn?
      If you have enough money and the option - I would advise getting one which has a mains water feed - where the staff don't have to refill it all the time. The only downside to that method though is you'll need the whole line to be serviced every year due to calcium and bacteria build up - just like an Ice Machine.
      The upside to the stand along units, is they're easier to be cleaned with de-calcium build up cleaner monthly which you'll definitely need to do... and the calcium build up really ruins the machine.
      Either way, sadly, we went through a water urn every year or two - always had one stored up just in case. They all have a 'reset' button on the bottom but when it's dead, it's dead.
      Some companies offer a warranty - which again, if you can afford the extra luxury, go for it! (Depends if you're a franchise or an independent run shop.)
      Hope that helps! 👍🏼

    Can you refrigerate the tea and how many days it last. Thank you.

    • @BubbleTeaKristin
      @BubbleTeaKristin  3 года назад

      Yes, it would say 2-3 days max... But the color will change. I would only advise using this method if you will be mixing it into a powdery drink. If you are doing something with fresh milk and tea or similar, then you definitely do not want to use refrigerated tea for that.
      And also, although it's convenient to refrigerate tea, the flavor does change a bit. So if you want to offer the best freshest flavor of tea possible for your customers, I would recommend making a smaller batch everyday and throwing it away. And then if throughout the day you need more, again just make a really small batch of it and throw it away at the end of the day.
      Hope that helps 😊

    What if individuals are lactose intolerant? Is dairy in the powder ?

    • @BubbleTeaKristin
      @BubbleTeaKristin  3 года назад +1

      Hi Azariah,
      It depends on the company and which brands they're using, etc. Even sometimes a company will buy from one brand in bulk for the year but the following year a different brand.
      Honesty if you ask staff, they won't really know either.
      If you have a major allergy to dairy, go for fruit teas, or make it from home.
      Another thing to keep in mind is that the base creamer is usually dairy free, but sometimes the flavoured powder has lactose.
      However, I will add one last thing: In my shop, all our basic milk teas were dairy free - BUT some of the flavours contained 'Sodium Caseinate'. This ingredient is a derivative form dairy but doesn't cause stomach upset. BUT people who are VEGAN are NOT allowed this product.
      Maybe ask to see the bags of items the company uses to search the ingredients yourself or speak directly with the owner and let them know nicely how bad your allergy is and how important it is to know the outcome of ingredients.
      Hope that helps!

    • @BubbleTeaKristin

      I totally agree!!!!!
      Definitely go for one that comes with some sort of warranty, or is through a company who's been around for a while.
      It's $2k entry for a good automatic sealing one - NEW.
      I recommend 'Boba Box UK'. They've got a couple different types and always assisted with troubleshooting throughout the years for me.
      If they're not near you or shipping is too much, see if they can recommend somewhere else and which model, etc.

      Hiya,
      I don't have an affiliate link for this, and as each country would be ordering off of different websites, I didn't feel the need to put it in the description.
      However what I can suggest is just doing a simple Google search for "Small Nespresso Machine".
      They have new ones coming out each year and that way you can find either a newer or older model which fits your price range. 🥰😍❤️
      Hope that helps 😃

    The word "tea" is confusing. It is a mixed of coffee & tea.

    • @BubbleTeaKristin
      @BubbleTeaKristin  2 года назад

      😂 Yes 👍🏼 The word YuenYeung reflects the meaning of the combo in itself. If someone has had this drink before or understands the meaning, then the words Milk Tea after it is redundant.
      But for this series, it's needed for clarification. Because it's not a latte... It's a milk tea with coffee ☕😂
      Perhaps saying YuenYeung Boba would be more suitable for some.
