I was 7 years old when I first tried soldering. Soldering kits are cheap nowadays or you can borrow one. You could just go and learn something instead of complaining in the comments because you lack some skills. This is not tik tok, this is real life. The world does not owe you anything.
They will work. I have them in my mouse and they do feel tactile. But if you're worried about that, get the brown Huano switches instead. They are a bit more tactile than the Kailh in this video, while still being silent.
Can you please advise for their quality? I mean do they last long as the original mouse switches under gaming mouse usage and how been your experience so far
The switches I installed on my g700s are still working perfectly since that day and it's been a year already of daily usage with no issues like double clicking, you can definetly trust them
hey the link no longer works. can you provide alternate or part #. thanks!@@VKsChannelin trying to read it on video but having a hard time making it out. Edit: ok found it thanks
Hmm I would love to make my razer deathadder v3 pro more quiet but I don't know if it's possible with that mouse and what switches to use to get the best gaming perfomance.
@VKsChannel Thanks, I do appreciate your encouragement to try again and I will. Going to wait for my new mouse to arrive and I got some better Flux paster and Whick wire to use this time. May I ask what was the temp you used to desolder? And the temp to solder the new switches?
OP: "...this mod can be easily installed in any mouse..." Also OP: "...all you have to do is to disassemble your mouse..." tf do you know that nowadays mouses' screws are hidden so well that it is easier to crack a safe-deposit password?
It's not that hard you can easily unpeel the stickers with some hot air from hair driers I've disassembled controllers that are much harder like the gamesir g8
Only two prongs are for the switch contact, the third one is more of a stabilizer The boards in my video has 3 prongs too You should install the switch were the click button is
Are these the best silent switches out there? and do they work for side buttons for programable keys some mouses have on there side? I want to mod my "Zelotes C-12 Gaming Mouse"
@@VKsChannel I'll try doing that, but also is there any comparable switches besides the ones shown in this video? Also the link to where you got the switches is gone, so knowing the name of it would help when finding the part x.x
My zelotes (c13) is still loud and noisy. Way too big buttons create sound itself, while triple click is silent. You cant make completely silent ANY mouse by this tutorial, sadly.
Amazing! This modification is cheap, easy to install, and useful. I love it.
Thank you!! I've been looking for a 12 button mmo mouse that is completely silent and they don't exist. Now I can make one!
Were you able to create your dream mode? 😂
Stealth mode engaged!
No modification where you have to solder is an easy modification. Not everyone just has a soldering kit on hand
It's easy though... Honestly just a skill issue
raikolt is right, skill issue
@@Raikolt tf are u gonna do without the equipment? breathe hot air on the solder?

Super useful video, thanks! Gonna try it out
Looks good! But I'm a little too scared to take apart my new mouse 🥲
Then start with a cheap mouse to get experience
@@VKsChannelthanks (ik i’m not the one who left this comment but you gave me an idea)
why does no one make mice with switches like this? i have zero idea how to solder anything i just want a mouse thats exactly as muted as those
You cam buy the switches and take it to an eletronics or games repair shop and ask them to install it for you
@@VKsChannel alright i will consider that thanks! 👍
are the silent switches even clicky?? do you even feel them when you click?
@Henry i own a glorious model o wireless, and i'm looking to make it silent, but i'm not even sure if these switches will even work on this mouse

@@tiborklein5349 already put them on my mouse and they're completely silent, tho i don't like the clickyness of it, i prefer them that way
Thanks for this Video! The link to the silent switches does not work for me, but I found the same switches on eBay.
How would you go about making the side button also silent?
The side buttons usually use the same buttons as the left and right buttons.

Very nice ! How is the feel ? Normal or mushy ?
The click feels normal but without the noise
Its similar to the joycon buttons
What did you used to clean the old soldering ?
add flux then put some new solder then use a solder pump or dessoldering braid to remove it, and finally clean with isopropyl alcohol
Hmm I would love to make my razer deathadder v3 pro more quiet but I don't know if it's possible with that mouse and what switches to use to get the best gaming perfomance.
Is there a way to silent optical mouse like the DeathAdder V2??
If the switch is the same size then you can just replace them and the silent switch will work normally
@@VKsChannel no doesnt work I did a research already.. apparently newer mouse uses optical and this does not work.
I lost two gaming mice because it would not desolder the 3 pins... I hate soldering.
Practice more and use good tools
Use flux as it helps dessoldering too

just get the Huano brown shell yellow dot.

should be in the credits at the end of the video
