Why it's better: This design picks up the actual shock mounts - where the transfer of energy is greatest. And we dont affix the bar to this critical point with spindly little "stand offs". We employ a solid billet aluminum block to transmit all of the shock mount's area into the flat steel bracket. Some designs do offer triangulation as we have utilized here. However, they forego the critical shock mount attachment. Additionally, our triangulated bracket is mated to the shock mount and the solid 2 layer steel near the top of the vertical area, not the paper thin wheel well area, so strength is maximized. No drill installation optional

That car had a rough life. Obviously you can take your sweet time with your own car and not scratch anything if you wish. This was just for demonstration purposes.

love it looks very good and its add better looks to show at car meets witch I go to.I do know that the focus has a lot of body roll anything to help that i am down.

for the additional bolts, why wouldn't you utilize nutserts?
Not everyone has the tools for that. This makes it more user friendly.

I believe the first 2 prototypes were just completed a month ago and are in testing currently. I would have to double check with Karl for sure though.

Is this process the same for the mk1 hatch?
I got cusco strut bar for eg hatch and i tried installing it but it cant fit do i need to jack the car first?
Shouldn't have to. But maybe it will help.
Surely those two tiny bolts holding the rear shocks wouldn't pass FEA

No. Check out the website linked in the description for all parts that are made for your specific year.
Can you do a video on the front strut bar ?
I will talk to Massive about it. That is a much more simple install for sure.
A little ingenuity and you could do this for a fraction of the cost that I'm sure this thing went for. Make it yourself and save big dollars.

Does this strut bar fit the sedan???
Ok, so after checking with Massive directly I found that to make it fit in a sedan directly you would need a different aluminum block. So I stand corrected, the answer is no it doesn't directly fit.

Adds rigidity to the rear of the chassis. Any amount flex you can get rid of in the chassis is a good thing!

Lol. This car has been taken apart a thousand times and isn't exactly road worthy. (Totaled) so it wasnt really a concern. Just showing the steps that need to be taken...

Holy shit ball that poor interior. It hacks like this that fuck up a ez install. $100-$200 part but $1500 in interior part replacement. All because you couldn't use a $5 trim removel tool.... priceless.
I'd much rather trust someone who cant spell easy. I think you missed the obvious.
