It's so crazy you don't have more subscribers, I found your channel from the "Why gaming isn't good anymore" video and was blown away by the quality that's been put into all your content. Keep it up man, hope the RUclips algorithm gives your channel the justice it deserves.
...my friend, you picked the exact topic I'll be using for my next video lol I hope you don't mind me taking notes, because I too, see the beauty in post-apocalyptic stories, it's much more meaningful than just zombies, warfare and the end of the world. Anyway, beautiful video, got me emotional in a way. You got the true message of post-apocalyptic stories quite right, and I'm happy to not be the only one to see it that way.
Not a game, but maybe my favourite post-apocalyptic story is the manga Girls' Last Tour. It's kinda depressing, but in a good hopeful, meaningful sort of way.
The Cosmic Wheel: Sisterhood music around 15:00 sells the point so well. Since it seems like you have played and it ties into the video so well. What did you choose for Earth/Humanity's fate?
@@mygameopinions I *SPOILERS* have doomed humanity to Covid twice so far. I am gonna try something different for my third playthrough when I get to it. But my first ending had me chilling on an Earth that nature had reclaimed. The idea of a less populous Earth being almost Solarpunk was neat. But also seeing how Fortuna felt about what I forced her to sacrifice really motivated me to consider her more rather than just treat her as a vessel for my choices.
I personally dont like the games you showed in the video, there are many better exemples of post apocalyptic games out there, but i like your style so you get a like and a pat on the back. Hope to see more from you
Great video! I especially enjoyed 31:14 to 36:30!!!! However at 31:54 I did notice you’re playing the game in English? Unsure if this was an accident but it actually isn’t the proper or “real” way of playing the game. I suggest you run through it again in Japanese. Playing it the intended way will hopefully result in a rating above 3 stars🤪🤪. For now, unfortunately I am forced to dislike this video. However I have hope that you’ll play it how Yoko Taro intended, in which case, I will return to like the video. Dattebayo

I've heard good things about it!
Ah yes, this one is very sad. Saddest post-apocalyptic story I've ever watched, but has deep messages within. It's pretty good.
goated
-favourite post apocalyptic game: Fallout 4
Outstanding video! Visually stunning, and such interesting analysis of the theme and each game.
big iron on his hipppp
A lot of sciencey types say that, no matter how bad the Earth is damaged by humans, it will always heal itself. It's comforting to think about.
nah this video is gonna get like 1m views trust
That would be cool!

Hell yeah that game was awesome. I won't spoil stuff here, but I got the "Eden Utopia" ending and thought it was pretty good.
