I've got a 2007 Classic, and I installed low beams the other day. Not enough clearance. I ended up having to use a dremmel and cutting out holes behind them in the plastic to make them fit better. The head sink was just too large. I also had to remove my grill in order to put the headlight directly in instead of wiggling it behind the grill. They are a tight squeeze, but they do work. I still had to force them to get them in the hole I made, but once in place, they fit with clearance. And yes, your low beam driver side should sit slightly lower than the low beam passenger side light by design. It is this way on all vehicles to illuminate road signs on the passenger side, and to keep from blinding on coming traffic on the driver side. I'd noticed it before, but not thought much about it until I installed LED's.
I was able to replace the flasher on my '06 Sierra a few years back without removing the knee bolster. Just had to reach quite aways back. I wish vehicles still had a flasher unit, instead of using resistors. The flash rates are now controlled by the BCM.
GR, it's been a year, those bulbs still work? I've only seen this vid, what headlight assembly is that you upgraded to? they're good fit not loose, lights not melting them at all?
Have LED bulbs for both low & high beam. The low beams work fine. Issue is when I engage the lever for high beams they do not come on. If i hold the lever in they stay on. Any help on what I can do to resolve this. Thx
hows that radio working out? I just purchased a super clean 2003 2500hd, unfortunately it has a couple of blown speakers and the radio doesn't even have a tape or cd player lol. I like the stock look of those updated Bluetooth radios.
It's working fairly good, I may need to upgrade the my speakers since my best friend in the world loves to blast the radio when she hears a song she loves. But the radio itself works amazing, I love the modern Bluetooth capability with a factory looking radio, however, looking back, I do wish I had bought the 6 disc CD changer version with the Bluetooth feature.
I just replaced all of my lights last night and had the novita flasher, but when I put the rear turn signals in, all of the turn signals will stay on constantly, and when I try to use the turn signal, it doesn't work.
I did directly behind the low beams in order to get clearance for the heat sink. Still had to kinda force the low beams in to place, but once they fell in to the hole I made, they had clearance and work fine.
You know you dont have to take the dash apart to replace that flasher. I did mine in just 1-2 min. I just went under the dash and just pulled the flasher out by hand.
I was gonna say watch out for the over zealous MPs to pull you over for using your cam while driving. Then I noticed where you are actually located, and I assume you are SecFo so then you don't have to worry about it!
Hope you can answer this please. I have a 2005 Silverado. My friend gave me a pair of SynteticUSA 9006 LED bulbs but they hit the radiator support cross member when I try to re-install the headlight assembly. Did you have any interference issues with the Auxbeam bulbs? I really hate to start cutting up my cross member.
I have a 2004 SIlverado and have the same issue, the fan on the back of the LED's have interference with the cross member on the low beam and vertical bracing on the high beam..
Same here I tried cutting the plastic away and it removes the rigidity of the assembly now my headlights move when I hit bumps. I would not do it. I put all new stuff in there and went with hid lights and they fit with no mods.
I replaced the brake/turn and tail lights also front turn signals and side markers along with the lighting module for led lights and i still get a hyper flash
Do you blind the oncoming traffic with those LEDs in your stock headlights ? I heard you need to buy aftermarket projectors so when you put LEDs they dont blind oncoming traffic.
I don't blind oncoming traffic with LED's in my stock headlight housings, and you don't "need" to buy and aftermarket projector retrofits in order just to run LED's, just turn the adjusting screw on the headlights to move the beam down slightly so the low beams won't blind any oncoming drivers.
@@graysonsgarage5157 Oh ok. I put some LEDs in my 2005 gmc 3500 dually diesel truck and it blinds oncoming traffic. Then I put LEDs in my 2003 chevy s10 and the same thing it blinds oncoming traffic. That's why I'm worried the same thing might happen with my 2006 chevy silverado.
Just turn the adjusting screw on the headlights to move the beam down and you should be good to go without blinding anyone else. It's always best to do it in from of something like a garage door.
Hello, Grayson, we are from Alla Lighting, and we are specialized in auto led lights bulbs, are you interested to test our premium quality led bulbs? if so, please let us know, thanks in advance.
That's why I went with LED's and it's been a solid year and these LED's are still working very well and are about as bright as they were when I first installed them.
My hid lights are 3 years old and still going strong. The only thing I don't like is high beam cause hid lights take a few seconds to come up to full brightness. I wish somebody made a nice shallow mount led bulb for these trucks so I can have hid on low beam and led on high.
is it just me or are real analog gauges just 200x more satisfying to look at vs the crappy digital displays they use nowdays?
ViiV Creations they arent true analog gauges with cables, but step motors on a dial.

So are those new lights better?
@@stn7172 Yeah, definitely. I may get halo light later on, but yeah, they are nice.
very in-depth. good video!
Yea it is
dont forget to mention 07 classic Silverado
Best one
I have same set up with the fogs included. Had it for over a year and love it. Auxbeam is good quality light
ELI CASTRO could you tell me which auxbeam fog lights to buy for my 04 silverado?

Did you have any problem with the plastic behind the high and low beams melting?
Great straightforward video.

I cannot find a replacement led 194 to fit in my marker light hole on my 2006.

That sounds like you may have a problem with your turn signal stalk.

How many videos b4 you upgrade to a Gopro with a head mount so you can use BOTH HANDS!!!
I was going to ask the same the video it’s so shaky....
I got some leds and they are to big in the back to put back on the high beams. Should I just cut it out the way??
yes
Did u have a 194 bulb in your taillights? I didn't see it on yours.
The requisite silverado steering rattle
So how are they holding up? Still working?
Still, the headlights have been working great to this day other than a bit of fogging on the headlight lens.
I bought some other brand turning signalof led bulbs and there not working properly .
Very nice!!!
If you only concert the front to led, will you have that issue??
Thanks buddy
Nice video man should’ve went with led switchback for front turn signals and just need the 4 high mod
What is a 4 high mod
@@killaweed6770 low and high beamon at same time, i did hi 6 lol

same here you ever figure out what it was? faulty flasher etc? thanks!
Same here
Those sound just like the 3" tips
I love how that truck sounds
It's all thanks to a Flowmaster Super 44 exhaust
Did u drill hole for the headlights

Robert Lindsey, Jr good to know cause I just changed my lights to leds and hyper flash is annoying lol
where did you pick up all your led bulbs?
eBay and/or Amazon

Where did u get the headlights??
Grayson where did you get the led bulbs for the tail lights and turn signals?
eBay, that product is discontinued unfortunately, but any 3157 LED bulb will fit, just if you're using it for braking, be sure it's a red LED.
I replaced the brake/turn and tail lights also front turn signals and side markers along with the lighting module for led lights and i still get a hyper flash
Are they hooked up correctly and lighting up?
I have tried turning them 180° but get the same issue, i am thinking the lighting module could have been bad right out the box?
Hello Grayson, did you add the CANBUS driver for the Auxbeams?
Same question here. I'm thinking about getting it just in case.
Deacon_D So did you need the canbus driver?
My bulbs were too big in the back so had to cut the plastic

Alla Lighting Automotive LED Bulbs I'll take a pair and try them out for you.
Do they fit without cutting?
Dude ! Get a tripod, or a camera person. While doing it one handed you either miss the shot, or risk breaking something
gah...fuck that I'm not tearing my dash apart for this!
Should've have just put in all led tail lights.
No way, I like the Avalanche look of the stock tail lights.
$30 = tripod for camera
My h.i.d are twice as bright, I have the 5000k. Dumb those leds and get h.i.d
What brand of HID's do you have?
FYI HIDS WONT LAST AS LONG AS LED LIGHTS😂😆😏

buy go pro at least..changing lights are easy why waist the time making a video
I have one, but I don't like to use it most of the time because the sound quality is pathetic.
