There are 3 reasons 90's music is coming back. 1. Nostalgia. Anyone who was a teen in the 90's is in their 40's now. They have jobs, families, and responsibilities. Nothing takes you back to the carefree days of youth like music. 2. The music is great. I am amazed by how many one hit wonders we had in the 90's, but many bands are still dining out on that one big hit. Now, add on all the bands like Pearl Jam, Metallica, Green Day, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Eminem, Garth Brooks, and MANY more whose career started in the 90's. 3. Today's music, in almost EVERY genre, is terrible. If I have to listen to Mumble rap, Disney pop, and stadium country in the nursing home, I'm pulling my own plug
The '90s was an amazing time. We were on the cusp of technological revolution with the internet and people were experimenting. This created many different subcultures, music, art, etc. Nowadays, everything is centralized and people are constantly online, but back then people were creating and experimenting independently.
@@airfixx_8952 No but I feel like they hit their prime during the 90's. "Metallica" or "the black album" was their biggest record,. And their greatest commercial success came during the early to mid 90's.

Sam and John also help make the band also. Have u seeb the Lollapalooza set with the fill in drummer? The songs didn't sound the same cause he didn't have that groove that john has. And sam is a phenomenal bassist. The 3 of them are the backbone of that band

He does
yes he does , never was big fan of the band in general but he is one of my fav guitar players
Who would have thought that 20 years on Limp Bizkit is aging finer than all their pop/rock contemporaries of the 00s…
I dunno, Avril is still looking fine as hell. I'd still hit it. I'd make her wear the wifebeater and tie and have her call me her sk8ter boi. lmaoooo
There’s only one reason why… Wes Borland.
40 years ago, if I told you that Roseanne Bar would look better than Madonna, then you would have said I was a bit daft.
Korn and Limp Bizkit have stood the test of time, that’s for sure.

You’re out of your damn mind. Stop huffing so much copium, little fella. Conservative media has turned your brain to mush. 😂
He had to say “ladiessss and gentlemen, presenting the chocolate starfish” and they’d have gone nuts!
Wow these guys can groove. They deserve credit for their whole rhythmic sense.
They have always been the reason Limp Bizkit worked so well
They killed it in the early 2000s, still killing it 2023❤🎉
OMG Fn Fred.... that was the coolest comeback dance ever!!
Damn, they still have their energy.
Do you know where you are?
Never been a fan but if this is how they are live I’d be a fan for sure.
And Just like that Fred and Wes have that crowd All In!
Wes has got some of the sickest riffs in the biz. Doesn’t matter if like LB or not, that mf can make you move your head.
Yup move my head over to the radio and turn it off.

Now that's how you start a show..!
Now that’s how you open a show !!! 💥
They kill it at festivals. I saw them at inkcarceration festival two moths after they played this show. I’ve never seen that many people all jump at the same time. They can get crowds moving like no other
Did they perform any 3 dollar bill songs ?
I've seen them 3 times at this same festival, and once opening for Metallica at Candlestick park. The crowd goes nuts! Fred even crowd surfed to the elevated handicap area, and had them all jumping around in their wheel chairs! EPIC!!
So weird in such a cool fu@kin way.. wish I was there
Garth Brooks and his personas 😅

It really was. Aftershock is a 4 day rock festival in Sacramento Ca. I was there for the first 2 days. I go every year. It’s close to like 50 bands on 4 stages.

Wes Borland makes some of best catchy numetal riffs of anyone and i agree he should get more attention
Absolutely. Legit and innovator of nu metal music. Love Wes
Meh.
@@TrueSchu Facts. It sucked when Wes quit the band because Fred needs Wes to check him from being too cocky and Wes needs Fred to check him from being too bizarre.
Fred/Wes = Lennon/McCartney of nu-metal
Serj/Darren = Jaggar/Richards of nu-metal.
Slipknot is obviously the KISS of nu-metal.

I remember seeing them open for Faith No More in 1997 in detroit. It was incredible.
I got to see Faith No More open for Billy Idol in 1990. I couldn't hear good for two days afterward.
Not Faith No More saw then in DC open for Metallica and G&R early 90's. Awesome memories.

LOL... Metallica's career didn't start in the 90s.
@@airfixx_8952 No but I feel like they hit their prime during the 90's. "Metallica" or "the black album" was their biggest record,. And their greatest commercial success came during the early to mid 90's.
@@airfixx_8952 I remember them on the local scene in the 80's, so you're right. They became more mainstream in the 90's.

One of my favorite bands of all time!
This was a festival where multiple (100+ bands). Also this has been viewed almost 20 million times. Thank you for leaving a comment and making the videos algorithm gain more traction! 🎉
Dang, I believe I’m a Limp Bizkit fan, at 54 years old. Absolutely in love with him being dressed like a cowboy. And rocking better than the kids today. I had to read the comments to make it’s actually him. He looked and sounded just like an auctioneer or rodeo announcer.
Hey Cowboy Bizkit nice, Wes
Wes is this band. Musically it doesn't make sense without him. Talented.
I did always like Wes!
Sam and John also help make the band also. Have u seeb the Lollapalooza set with the fill in drummer? The songs didn't sound the same cause he didn't have that groove that john has. And sam is a phenomenal bassist. The 3 of them are the backbone of that band
Iconic sound Mr. Wes has but what about the iconic sound of Fred Durst? I mean..???
@@dkdrumma86 you are not wrong if you listen to nookie that bass riff and guitar riff played separate is ass, but together it's fucking genius the way they come up with shit like that is nuts.
It dosnt make sense musically. Yup
Something so nostalgic and real about this modern bizkit.
