Ive only been to the gpaa claim on grimes. Ive found super fine gold but have always been skunked on detecting. Awsome demonstrations brother. Thanks for sharing. The 1000 is a great machine
Amazing machine, just extremely sensitive! Make sure and practice using discrimination, getting the skills to run and understand that will help you significantly! Just subbed, keep it up!
@GoldenPenniesProspecting yeah I was just checking out videos. I see claims that those high end machines detect deep, but every video I see someone digging 4" into the ground to find 1/10th of a gram nuggets. The Equinox machines will find those below $1000. I'm even more confused over the $6k price tags now!
Yeah. I have the Equinox 800 and the Minelab 1000. I have done side-byside testing on small pieces of gold, and I the Minelab does better, but the Equinox will also find it. @@UndergroundMetalDetecting

look at a keene crevice trowel. it has a piece of metal on the one end so you can scratch at the ground. up to you. have a good day.
Thanks. I will! Heading to Arizona in two weeks for some gold detecting, so that might come in handy.
What is the maximum depth of a device on a large target 15 x 15 cm
Sorry, I don't know. Generally, this device will go down about 12 in max.
Have you ever upgraded to the 6000 or 7000 machines?
I would love to, but they are very spendy!
