I loved it when you checked out all the various depressions, it's amazing how well they camouflage in the environment until you're almost right up on them. Definitely a case of keeping that peripheral vision going at all times! Pity the yellow stuff was elusive on the day, but a great trek in the bush nonetheless. Cheers mate. :)
Gday Mish. No yellow. Just didn’t walk over it but there was a lot of lead out there that nobody else got. It is an interesting spot there. Good to be out anyway. Glad you enjoyed it. 👍😁
Love your calmness and enthousiasm man. It's so relaxingI how you tie in stories with your finds is great! I really liked the bottle top story! Cheers from Montreal Canada!
I’m watching ALL you guys duke it out with the Core/700/900 to see what the hoopla’s been about. In the meantime, I put a TeleKnox telescoping shaft and a control box adapter on my 600 with 6” coil. The travel package for this rig is 6”x6”x24”. I’m just about as cool as I need to be!
Nice to see you using the equinox to look for gold gives hope to those of us who can only afford one detector and don't manage to get to the gold fields very often. Enjoyed the video and the history thanks Andrew
Great video, as a complete novice been looking at various detectors to have a bit of an explore and fun in Central Vic and this is one I'm considering. It's a bit confusing as a newbie but your video helped me understand a a few things. Cheers PJ
I’m happy to stay out of them. In our tunnels we have sudden drops and noxious gases. Oh and there are spiders and scorpions too. Ahh just another day in Australia 🦘🦘👍😁
Great stuff c.b.k.. Pitty ya didnt find the yella but coins are great aswell..at the end of the day ya enjoyed our great aussie bush n relaxation..cheers
That’s what I reckon Jim. Thought I was in with a great chance there but not to be. Good spot though and I didn’t leave empty handed. Take care mate 😁👍
Look forward to my Saturday mornings in the UK drinking coffee in bed and watching the Coffee Bush Kid. Thank you for your great videos and sorry you didn't find gold this time
🍺🍺Cheers Andrew mate! I shall be ‘metaphorically’ knocking a few tops off this arvo…..well, pulling the ring tabs! 🍺🍺 great dedication & perseverance mate, would’ve been so tempting to switch to another programme and try for something else! Loved the history of the beer bottle, and the mine shafts!! Easy enjoyable watching as ever mate! Love to you both from cold & dull Essex!
Gday Marcus. I get a bit driven if I am doing a video on a certain thing. Would have been easy to swap but then I would have had to come out again to finish it. Viv was wondering how the video would go but the response is all positive. We are lucky that a nice group watch. In Ye olde Aussie speak you are going to “ pull the scab off a tinnie” this arvo. Enjoy. Thanks as always mate for watching. Take care cobber 🦘🦘😁👍
Lot's of great finds there Andrew that could have been gold.Perhaps next time. But you did find some lovely Aussie bush, deep shafts and noisy cicadas.Cheers.
All of the above Gary. It is a spot that looks like it has some great potential but not quite. Good stories and info anyway. Hope you are well and you are finding heaps with the manticore 😁👍
Shame you didn't come across a nugget of gold but each of those lead shot could have been some yellow stuff. Liked the bottle top story and how they knocked the top off, suppose would have been quicker and easier than trying to get the cork out. All the best cobber 😀👍👋 Tony
Gday Tony. It was quicker and I forgot to mention the other saying of after they knocked the top off then they could “neck a couple of bottles “. Any one of those bit of shot had the potential to be gold and other Detectorists had missed them. Anyway it was a good time out. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Gday Craig. I did give it a fair crack but there you go. Still a good day was had. As for the later, you won’t have long to wait 😉. Say Gday to the family. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
That was a nice try, the gold is hiding, did you ever think of trying to detect inside any of those old holes or are they too dangerous? probably full of those giant spiders! My daughter would listen while she plays her video games and said you have a "Chill Voice", which means your the man! Better luck next time Andrew thanks for the show.
Gday WUW. Yes it is dangerous. Deep shafts, spiders , scorpions , noxious gases and cave ins. Not for me. Lots of folks like my accent but I don’t have one. They do 🤣. Thanks for watching 😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid soo true you don't have an accent I do, well Canadians like the Australian way of talking it sounds really cool to listen to like happy music....but I hear our accent is seen is kind of flat and boring...thats why we watch your shows! and Dirt Fish Mish's too
The reality of metal detecting. Some days you find what you want sometimes not. Cool to find shot that small though looks like 4s and 7 1/2. Rabbit and bird shot in my book. Still cold and snowy here hope the weather cooperates soon.
Hi Andrew, can't say you didn't try mate, and you did find some very small bits that could so easily have been gold, very much like the bottle fragments I expect a lot of tops got knocked off digging those pits, I'd be very much aware of my surroundings there, in case some little nasty critter tried to rudy eat me 🤣, say hi to Viv. ATB Bill and Julie 👍😊❤
Gday Bill and Julie. Yes I just didn’t walk over any gold and anyone that was there should have found what I did. Glad you liked the bottle talk. We don’t have that many things that try to eat, sting maim etc except for the ……. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Gday Lee. Viv wasn’t sure but I thought there was good content even with no gold. Everyone seems to have liked it. Thanks for watching and the comment mate 😁👍
I'm confused doesn't everyone want gold lol? This machine is supposed to be able to root out the bad and bring in the good correct. That's why I'm confused everything thing that's has a good tone isn't gold this machines reminds me of cell phone's they come out with a new one all the time and it just might find you that gold with one of its new features. I've been wanting to do this for a long time but very worried about spending good money then having to run out and get another to try and do it all over again. This guy seems like he's done this for a while so why use settings that don't find gold am I missing something is the detector not a good one are the settings not correctly set for the ground type why dig for things that waste time. Is there a setting on this machine that cancels out the metal stuff so less time is spent on metal. I've been looking at so many detectors I'm constantly taken this way that way I need a good detector that will find gold nuggets gold jewelry and gold deep and tiny gold is there something that will do that under water and on soil and rocky areas. I've look at so many my head hurts 🤕😢

I have to admit I find it hard to resist exploring those holes in the ground. Interesting history there my friend. Thanks

Thankyou , Coffee Bush Kid, now I know where the saying came from. Didn't know it was called an "applied" top. :)
Gday Roberto. Happy to have passed on a bit of info. Thanks for watching mate 😁👍

Looking at the air rifle pellet I would say it was a primer cap from a cap and ball muzzle loader firearm
good job👍👍👍
Thank you 😁👍
You really did try hard for the gold. Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see you use the Mantacore!

the air rifle pellet is a percussion cap
Cool Ray. Thanks for the info 😁👍
We will have to organise a weekend to catch up at specimen heaven down this way Andrew with the vlfs
That would be great Josh. Cool to have another machine in the mix 😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid you will have a ball chasing the quartz reefs out there, plenty of gold still there too
Cheers
Thanks 😁
Good stuff Andrew we all get a doughnut sometimes when chasing gold with a coil lol
