Elantra N vs Golf R vs Stinger GT vs Civic Type R vs WRX / STI in the dig + roll races would be epic to see 🙌
That sounds like it fits more into carwow's budget!
Golf R with DSG will take them all in a straight line
@@brucesuitt993 Sam Carlegion let's make it happen.
2022 Race of the 1st quarter Awesome video Love that Wet type Dct
Great job Sam for making this happen. You're right, these two cars are not even in the same class but what you did was to please your followers, so yeah, NICE JOB!!
KIA saved money by having a design from 2004
What in tarnation….seriously wtf just happened on the roll race….. I’m selling my Kia stinger, thanks Sam for this race 🫠
😂😂😂
DCT 😳
@@Dkdid9183 FR🔥
Do it.
Lol a modded stinger becomes a totally different car. The Elantra engine can’t do what the stinger engine does, and a transmission tune completely transforms the car from that standpoint. Mine is FBO and I run with a different league of cars.
These are some of the best videos about the KDM cars that EVERYONE should be looking at!!
4:50 I think the N driver came in his pants right there
Kia K5 GT vs the Elantra N. Make it happen chief especially since the K5s are also somewhat underrrated
Sam you need to do one with the base Stinger with the new 4 banger with a competitor please man!
Can u find one please?
If I could I would, that would give me a great excuse to road-trip from Texas to Canada…lol! Hopefully someone has one to bring on the channel cause I’m real curious of what your opinion would on the new 4 banger version. It would help in a purchase decision on that model. Great video like alway bro!
Choose the rwd version so it is more fair.
Love to see the IS350 RWD vs the Hyundai Veloster N. Hope you guys create that video. I have to admit, the Elantra sounds sweet
Warp stabilizer going wilddd
Hey Sam, looking for some GoPro mounts. Mind sharing which ones you guys use? Thanks
Sonata N line vs Elantra N make it happen
Good video. I have an Elantra N and love it so far. The only thing I would say is I wouldn’t consider it the Stinger GT’s true counterpart. Hyundai/Genesis G70 is the car you’re looking for there. Both great cars though
Stinger and genesis are the same car
Stinger gt owner here. Looking to downgrade to Elantra N cuz it makes sense financially. Trade in 38k on car I owe 25k means 13k in the bank, smaller monthly payments, and still a fun and fast car. Thanks for this vid!
for 16 thousand less I'd take the N
I would still like to see the stinger gt line with the new 2.5t go up against a few different cars, it's a big performance upgrade from the old 2.0t
Stinger's really aren't that quick tbh. They're just TOO HEAVY
Yess!! Just what I wanted!!!
The rev limiter and stock exhaust are absolute junk on the Stinger; exhaust was the second thing I modded when I got mine
The Elantra N would beat most V6 cars on a track. It was built for race tracks. The car handles way too good.
I don't think the EN beats a civic type r around a track. Civic is still track king.
@@davothegreat9990 same can be said for the civic type r it beats most cars on track it’s faster than the 2009 GTR on track lol 🤷♂️
It might be dumb but a race I wanted to see since forever is between the elantra n line and the kia forte GT
I think elantra faster
Same here, in both 7spd DCT and 6spd manual.
They’re the exact same car
That elantra N , is actually really nice and so much mod potential. So muchhh!!
But at the end of the day the Stinger has huge modding potential.
@@lukemothug honestly just to see how car I can take it imma go with a N
@@Jmarzx that n isnt gonna make 500whp like the stinger without modded turbo.
They could've brought on a better driver for the EN 😑
Hey Sam, I have 2021 gti autohban with a jb4, let me know if you want to run it against something!
honda accord 2.0 vs audi a4?
Both cars are vantastic & v. Interesting game.
Respect to korean cars
Thanks a lot Carlegion ♥️♥️👍
I'm sorry the N performance division from Hyundai gets it. Why wouldn't Kia put a active exhaust it their Stinger?
Wow! On highway those cars are equal nice 👍
Not at all man
@@jakerandall6960 i meant only in terms of acceleration
Elantra: “Come here baby, that’s it come here.”
Stinger: “No, stay away. Leave me alone, creep.”
Me: Alright you two, that’s enough, knock it off. Elantra, stay on this side of the room.
Stinger, go see the principal. NOW! Mr. Genesis is waiting.
Stinger: “Why I gotta go see the principal?”
😂😂😂
I had a 3.3TT stinger and I was walking newer V8 american muscle cars at the track--4.2 to 60 and a 12.7 in the 1/4 mile.I also just got a Kona N and while fast--it does not have the mustard of the 3.3TT stinger.
Elantra N vs sontata n line or K5 GT pleaseeeeee
I'm curious to see how would my mk7.5 golf stg2 tunned ,stg2 dsg high tq file
You would walk it, it'd be gap city. I have mk7 gti that was just stage 1 eqt and was neck to neck with an N.
The EN had a really good launch, as good as the stinger.
It's quite a car as it is, but I think Hyundai should stuff the 2.5 into the Elantra N and give it AWD and 325+ HP. Maybe make in an N+...lol! I also think the Stinger should have been upgraded instead of killed.
Stinger has not been killed
Trouble is the price would jump up a good 10k
In Canada the Stinger is getting a ‘23 model year but no idea if it’s continuing after that
I thought they said it was gone after the '22 MY? Did they change their minds?
Nice video.. but "Stinger" is pronounced wrong Sam. It's not Sting-gur. It's Sting-ur.
A Stinger GT Line with the 2.5L vs. the Hyundai Elantra N would probably be a better comparison. That should be the next drag and roll race that ya'll do. Thanks!!
Was it just my imagination, or was the EN short-shifting on the second roll race? That little 4 did an awesome job against a car that is nearly $20k more expensive, has two extra cylinders, and another turbo. VERY impressive!
How can a car short shift in automatic mode?
@SamCarLegion great question I was wondering the same thing. Eleantra driver wasn't shifting lol
It would also smash it on a track
20k more ? The stinger is literally only a couple thousand more
@@hempandhomesteads Where are you from? In Australia, the Stinger is over $25k more.
THE EXCITEMENT IN MO'S VOICE! Loved this! #teamDCT
Hey Sam , i know this is out there, but i am very curious about a 2024 nissan armada vs gmc yukon 6.2
Race the Elantra N against the K5 Gt 2022
I mean you give that Elantra just a tune and its walking away from that Stinger. Thats mad impressive and i think i need to start putting my attention towards that Elantra as my next car
The stinger with a tune is over 500 wheel though and damn near 600 torque
And then you tune the Stinger..
I think a fbo tune en just got 400 whp very recently
@@DriverJ-N and with its 3200lb weight that thing probably flies
@@DriverJ-N On a completely stock turbo? I don't particularly look for EN stuff but I haven't seen or heard of one really getting over 350 with the stock turbo.
Rwd g70 walks the en in a roll but damn i didnt think 200+ pounds was such a huge difference
It's the driver of Stinger. He probably had Corolla before Stinger. His reaction time is too slow. I know few Stinger drivers. They never use launch control. They never launch hard. They always drive in "eco" mode. I'm sure a good driver in Stinger would've absolutely beat EN for sure. I beat EN with my G70 3.3T.
