You are right about the mismatched hands, I would have preferred a different hour hand. I've never liked the crown guard flat sub case, so it's not for me.
Yes the Rolex sub is a great watch, but it's design is everywhere as others have said... for years !! At that price, there is certainly a market for it, so if your going to be in the same space as the others, at least be the inexpensive one in the bunch. $149.00 will put you up front. I believe this is why I am so attached to my Seiko Samurai and Capt. Willard, they are who they are.
I think I've spent enough money on cheap watches I'm not wearing and aren't worth selling for one lifetime. If this had been around several years ago when I didn't already have 3 Rolex Sub homages in my collection, sure. But I don't even really like the Sub Homages I have, not going to add another. But that's just me. I would have no problem suggesting this to someone if they like the look, the quality is likely worth the meager asking price.
Well said. this is the saturation effect and its really hard to stand out of the market thats all trying to offer the same thing. But for those who are new to the hobby, its a great starter piece.
Supporting counterfeit products, in any form, is a violation of both ethics and the law. Counterfeit goods steal the hard work, creativity, and intellectual property of those who have dedicated time and effort to create something original. Using fakes does not demonstrate good taste or individuality; instead, it shows a lack of respect for creativity and the effort of others. Even if the brand name is changed, the essence of the issue remains. Using counterfeit products promotes an unfair industry and harms legitimate creators and producers. If you truly understand the value of design and creativity, you wouldn’t support something that copies or imitates. It not only reflects poorly on you, but it also undermines the integrity of the entire system that deserves respect. 🤮🤮🤮
You have to really understand what a counterfeit is before saying what is what. This came out from the Oxford dictionary; "made in exact imitation of something valuable with the intention to deceive or defraud." Did you see that in this watch? Rolex printing? The crown logo? The exact pencil minute hand? The "swiss made" printing"? Plus, buying a legit product of this exact design means buying a Rolex Milsub 5517 or 5513 or a vintage Tudor Submariner according to your definition; do you have any idea how much those costs? Let's just enjoy this hobby, okay.
Colors are great and you get a decent watch for a bargain price. What’s not to like? It’s a watch you can throw on, enjoy and not worry about.

The crown guards are thick, and they look like they can stop a train 😂 great review Jayson
Speaking of homages, what do you think of San Martin from Ali Express?

It is true that the minute hand look out of place 😅

define counterfiet. define homages. both definitions are far more important for people to understand than my reputation.
