@DrivingIntelligence I have a question. U best answer it😮😮 lol jk . OK I have a 97f150 I got a slider glass widow . It says It will fit. It's off a fx4. But it looks like the studs aren't in the same spot. Will I need to drill new holes to make it fit? Or is fx4 a different size😬😬😬 HELP😢😢😢
Thanks for the advice on the rear slider!!!! The other day i finally got around to fixing the moonroof Its been so long I cant remember if the sun shade is auto retract and Manual close or if Manual retract and close. Can you let me know. Thanks Mark
So I've seen a post on marketplace for a few weeks for parts from an 02 Harley F150. Now he's made a new post with just the power sliding glass assembly for $60. Does the regulator and wiring usually stay with the glass assembly? I'm thinking i would be a fool not to buy it.
Have you had any issues with the Digital EATC CLIMATE CONTROL system on your harley davidson f150? The Ac on my expedition defaults to defrost under load like a vacuum leak. I have heard that the orings in the unit need to be replaced
My 02 King Ranch did not have the exiting wiring, I had to add 2 pins to the wiring in kick panel to then run to a pigtail for the harness. It was pin 9 and 13 of connect C211. I'm assuming you already got it working but incase someone else hasn't yet.
@@edwardcruz5187 hopefully this video will help you see what's going on. The kit I'm selling has a replacement dash panel that also includes the adjustable pedal switch. No drilling required. If your truck is pre-wired, it is plug and play. ruclips.net/video/P97IIwCoZXc/видео.html
Will this work in a super cab? I have the manual version already and k looked sometime back and saw there wasn’t a whole lot of space behind the seat, nor did I see mounting holes for the motor, will it still work or could i get away with some kind of relocation
I think almost all 10th gens came with the mounting holes. My Supercab has all the mounting for this kit. Mine is a 2002 Extended Cab. What year is yours?
I just responded to your other question with the answer: "hopefully this video will help you see what's going on. You said you used a 4 pin plug, it looks as though the motor has only 2 wires, is this correct? And is it a 12v motor? I have a base model fleet truck I bought @ a city auction and unfortunately this truck is not wired for and has no plugs for any options. So I'll be running wires for this motor.
Stupid ? Orientation of the 4 window seals Top Bottom Left and Right. The Top Bottom and left sides looking at the window from the back have the flap or wiper part of the seal on the glass correct? The right side has the solid edge side facing outward and not the flap or wiper part of the seal correct? Thanks
As mentioned in the video, I got it from a junkyard. Happened to get lucky as I looked through the F150s. Reach out to me on my Facebook page at Driving Intelligence and when I visit the yards, I’ll look for one if you’re interested
good morning, I do not have that trim ring. They are very expensive if bought new, over $500 before delivery. I repaired mine as shown in this video ( ruclips.net/video/rUAe6pDjOM0/видео.html ) . If that is not an option for you, you can check out a pick & pay and remove one from a wrecked F150. Be sure to match year and body style!
Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the cable on drivers side to extend long enough to connect, mine is not reaching after connecting the passenger side and attaching the cables to the frame. Thanks
So, I have an unused plug behind the light panel, as it should, but no wire behind the seat except for the cigarette lighter. Any ideas on why that is? Thank you much! I also already have the adjustable pedals
That's an interesting question. If you have the plug behind the light switch, you should have the plug behind the seat or behind the panel where the 12 volt power port is located beside the rear seat.
@@DrivingIntelligence Is it possible that the front wire is different? Because mine is in a little red holder, capped off from use, unlike yours where it was just sort of sitting there. Its also black, instead of the orange like yours
I know this is a bit late but I had the same issue. I ended up wiring it up which was super simple . If you’re still interested I’ll let you know what I did exactly.
How did you mount it with the factory sub in the way of where the regulator mounts?? I just finished getting it all working but couldnt figure out yet how to mount my regulator being that the sub is in the way.
Interesting question, I don't have a factory subwoofer in that location and I don't think the 10th Gen F150's had a sub there as an option. What year is your truck?
@DrivingIntelligence hi thanks for the response! in your video at 8 minutes, behind the rear console appears to be a grille (which is for where the factory sub would be). The trucks that didn't have that option didn't have the same panel with the subwoofer grille on the panel. I believe 02/03 is when factory sub was offered. Can't say I've looked at any 01s that had them. My 02 king ranch didn't even have the wiring for the rear slider but I found the 2 wires in the kick panel and added the 2 pins to the connector and ran the wiring and got it all working, just need to figure out a way to properly mount it to the back wall.
Looking at your video again, you definitely have the panel that has the grille for the sub, which I see you removed a little after 8 minutes before pulling the whole panel out. However, the carpet piece behind that panel isn't the same as the one with the sub as yours doesn't have the cutouts to where the sub bolts to the floor. The sub bolts to the floor and the top of the sub bolts on both sides of the sub, and one of those happens to be the bottom hole where the regulator goes.
@DrivingIntelligence no, its an OEM factory option on king ranch, Harleys, and possibly lariets had them, but only available for supercrews with rear bucket seats with center console, tho not all bucket seat packages had the sub and the ones that did not do have a different rear trim panel without the section that has the rear grille etc for where the sub live behind. The Lincoln Blackwood had them as well. I've got some wiring diagrams and pinouts for all of this stuff too if you need anything from 01-03.
Hi, any chance you still have the part number for the regulator? I’m afraid I’m striking out at the local pick and pull, and will have to order one online if possible. Thank you!
I've been looking for that part number. Funny, when I did this video, my research showed many of them for sale on eBay! Now I can't find them. I will continue to look! Apologies...
I think I found the correct number. It shows compatible with the 2003 Harley Davidson F150. Not sure why it doesn't show all 10th Gens. 6L3Z-1523394-AB - please confirm fitment before you order!
@@DrivingIntelligence Awesome thank you so much for your response, and the videos you have put together for the 10th gen community! There are different rear windows for the 10th Gen F150. It’s best to find one that’s made for your specific year and body style.
Nice upgrade

Fortunately I've never had a problem, but it is a simple fix with new o-rings. I hear this is a common problem with older Fords with EATC.
I have a 02 king ranch hopefully I have the existing plug to do this
I’m 99% sure the King Ranch is pre-wires like my HD F150. Just pull your light switch assembly and look for the plugs.

@johnr2152 I don’t, if I get time I’ll try to make one. You don’t have slack in the other cable?
@@DrivingIntelligence No the passenger side cable is tight and the window is fully closed.
