THIS MAN RIGHT HERE! Did his homework! All the features a keyboardist would ever need YET its layout is so simple and easy to use! mainstage really let this one slip not making it available on IOS
PS BTW In reality I'm avoiding anything Apple due to personal preference. I don't like closed off proprietary ecosystems, so I don't support that company. PPS I also know what I'm missing from iPad - a minimal latency. The truth is that developing sound apps for Android is avoided by some dev companies, due to lack of guarantee that specific system will have reasonable latency (a delay between key press and sound heard). Only some companies develop their own realtime sound driver). PPPS Enough talking to myself.
We release an update to the Sound Library for Sunday Keys for Ableton Live every month! You can download the latest update from within your user account as long as your Sunday Keys License is active.
Thank you for the great work you're doing! We are building a keys rig from scratch. Are you saying that this app essentially replaces or can replace MainStage? Also, would you recommend us get a MacBook Pro for the rig or an iPad Pro and just use the iPad app? I'm assuming it is easier to use your fingers on the iPad instead of a track pad on a laptop? Thanks again!
Lucky me that I got all the sounds even when it was in beta testing but for first time users that tried the app I don’t know if some people don’t know what the SK app is if they never heard about Your Company
This is probably a stupid question, but I'm a complete midi noob. Does the app automatically recognize the size of the keyboard you are using? Does it know I'm playing a 76 key or an 88 key?
Hi, we don't have access to that particular keyboard, but the App is compatible with most keyboards, you can also download the App in Demo mode for free to test your gear compatibility. sundaysounds.com/pages/sunday-keys-app-free-demo-download
@@SundaySounds thanks. I’m considering buying the license but somehow my nanokontrol is not mapping properly in the sunday keys app. Like some of the buttons use the same cc #. Hence the button that i mapped is deleted and transferred to the other button.
My midi controller is the Arturia Keylab 88 mk2. and while I love Arturia's sounds, the Fatar keybed is the worst. Velocity is all over the place and you need to change it in each app to get it right. You have to beat it to death to get a good sound and then that tears up the cheap Fatar keybed. I tried the Sunday Keys app and it's a no go with that board. nothing has any velocity much at all, it's too heavily compressed and has no velocity control. Of course its not just the app, its also in the mainstage version. To get a decent piano sound I have to use Pianoteq or other high end vst and then that sound odd live on stage. You have to EQ the heck out of it. However the MODX, you just plug it in and the piano sits just right in the mix. I think I just hate vsts in a live band. They are great in a studio however. WAY too much tech and not enough playing.
So I have been trying out the app demo and it’s really cool but I have a problem when I hit the C4 note there is a cut off anybody else have this problem?
I was waiting for such a video since the time you guys released the app, bcz I wasn’t able to use the demo. Tried the app just now and it’s amazing. Waiting for even more cool features. Really appreciate that you have included these many stuff even in the demo. A great step to make people into buying it 😂
Each Sunday Keys License unlocks the App, plus gives you one year of access to advanced features. Currently, advanced features include Plugin Hosting, Cloud Backups, and monthly Sound Library Updates. If you choose to turn off auto-renew you’ll still be able to use the App w/ the sounds you received, but will no longer have access to advanced features until you reactivate your License. We’d be happy to answer any more questions you have, so feel free to contact us via our website if we can help. Thanks!
This is the only app for ipad i could find. How I wished the demo version could have more sounds like grand piano or the ambient pads. Or maybe even a 1 month free trial of the full version. Coz apart from hardware I would have to pay $120 yearly for the app itself.
For now we're prioritizing more requested features, but if enough people request this we'll consider moving it up on our roadmap for additional develoment.
You need a keyboard capable of sending MIDI to connect to the App, just about every keyboard sends MIDI, and will have either a USB port or a MIDI port that you can use to connect to the App.
The Live format of Sunday Keys includes the Tonic Pad in all 12 major keys. Easy Transpose is a separate feature, that applies to the tracks that create your keyboard Sounds. If you need more help with this feel free to touch base via the contact form on our website. Thanks!
No ETA yet, but it is something we'e planning. There are several other big features in the works right now as well, so we're doing our best to provide the most requested features and improvements first :)
I rescently moved to north America and I've noticed Apple is very dominant here. @SundaySounds the rest of the world is dominated by Android and Microsoft. Great product and it could reach far. (FL studio didn't come to Mac till FL 20 there is a reason for that). Anyway, I think I said enough. 😊
@@goraps I'm over it all. I want more variety than copying Bethel, Hillsong and Elevation and now Charity Gayle. and pretending you only love Apple. It's a LOT of fanboy stuff.
@@19DoubleG80 I have Sunday Keys on Mainstage and while the demo only gives you a couple of sounds, the sounds that you get when it’s fully unlocked are unbelievable and the iPad version appears to be a stand alone, fully reliable, live show sound source. Awesome!!!
They won't. If you don't like Apple or can't afford one then I suggest a keyboard workstation that can reproduce the heavy synth and pad sounds. The MODX is great for general sounds and I like the Hydra-synth for big pads and shimmer effects.

How can I hear the sounds the purchased library comes with? Where can I do this?

Can external sounds or vsts be added & blended?
The Sunday Keys App supports hosting AUv3 (iPad & Mac) and AU (Mac only) plugins.
Hola, se puede conectar el app con el Nanokontrol2 para controlar los faders de cada sonido?
Please answer me. Can you check yamaha dgx670 if compatible for the app? Thank you so much

hello is it possible to put a sampler on a drumpads of midi controller using sunday keys?
The best request till now is Windows and tablet version is not out
Is it possible to use the mainstage Sunday keys rig at the same piano with an ipad with the Sunday app? Not necessarily at the same time but 🤔
That would work as long as you are able to connect the keyboard to both devices.

We like the candy.
Hi can I also download sunday keys on my note book Microsoft?
Don’t tell me you can’t make one for windows. Trust me the rest of the world will run to your app
And give it the ability for third party plug-in sounds
You could even make it 200$ I will buy it without second thought
You can even remove your sounds if you are afraid of hacking your apps

What is the max number of faders on the screen are possible?
