Z-stands are a great improvement over the X-style, but I would highly recommend everyone to check out the table style K&M Omega. I received one as a gift, and it's been a complete game changer in achieving a neat and sturdy setup.
I understand I have the piano 5 but keyscape is my favorite to use but when my nord plugged up I make myself use it since I paid 3500 for it😂😂😂😂 but yes I agree with you! When I use any other keyboard keyscape everytime
@billhighwind yes I feel you. Because I love keyscape so much I have use my nord as a back up in case mainstage start to act up. But as far as hardware nord definitely has the best piano hands down. But again I make myself use it after spending that amount of money. Nord is GREAT(#1) as far as hardware!!
Thanks for the exciting insight. I really liked the pieces you played. Can you please link the patch you used? So that I can also play it with the app?
We use the Zoom to record backup audio during video shoots, it's not actually part of the setup. The Canvas Stereo Direct box takes the 1/4" outputs from the Focusrite Audio Interface and converts them to XLR to run to the Sound System.
0:36 “all the keyboard players to have the same sound week in and week out”. This is one of the reasons worship music at most churches had become sterile and lifeless. I guess is all about production, lights and whistles these days.
@@josephdzingomvera1232 this is known and doesn't help answer the original question. The mixer can be made known as well for the app used, IN this video. TIA
I just realised there will be a generation that will have used nothing but in ears. A speaker? Pointed at me? I can hear everything? When a monitor speaker becomes a foreign thing, I know I’m old.
Hi, is there a way to use snapshot like feature on Sunday Keys Ableton Version like on Mainstage? Like different snapshots for different parts of the song? Edit: I know a way is using scenes so like a combination of scenes for each song?
I believe the way people accomplish this in MainStage is by using the mod wheel. by basically mapping the parameters you want to change to the mod wheel then scaling them in such a way that you can change the sounds as you move the wheel
The Nord Stage EX only uses the USB port for downloading new sounds, so you have to use the MIDI ports, newer Nords can function as a MIDI controller when connected over USB.
Your seat for the Nord rig seems too low -- your arms should be higher when playing. You want your wrist neutral and have your fingers in a slight, relaxed, curve downward. When you put those two together, you pretty much end up with arms parallel to the floor and slightly above the key bed.
I think it's a total waste to use a Nord Stage or a Juno DS as a MIDI Controller. Waste of money... I stay only with the Juno Ds and achieve better results!
I have always agreed but, the main reasoning as she said was, that she can do all her work on SS at home and then bring all her sounds. Doesn’t matter what keyboard you play, wherever you are, you have your sounds.
Where the nord is the lord is.
So true haha. I see it all over churches. It’s there for good reason!
The lord is the king of nords 😂
King of Kings and Nord of Nords... AMEN
Where the nord is the money is ... don't rhyme but..
Yes hallelujah! 😂

I have the same laptop stand, but the heavy duty version. Totally worth the space you get with it!
Can you do a video or does anyone know how to use Nord pianos but also use Sundays keys at the same time??
My Kurzweil PC3x does all that stuff and more and it's all on one board.
Oh yeah... and the piano sound is better than anything else by far.
Great video!
I have a Anker USB-C power hub some odd reason when I connect the keyboard to it using the iPad app I get no audio.
I don´t get it, why use a Nord Keyboard to control Mainstage? Why not use a cheap midi controller?
Hard agree. I use a Nord and it's sounds 100 percent of the time.

What would be the main reason to still use main stage over Sunday keys app, and vice versa?
Sunday keys is nice but MKSensation is where it’s at
Would you mind sharing with me how you are using the Zoom and the Canvas from Walrus Audio?

@@SundaySounds Oh haha! Awesome! Follow up, if you don't mind. Why do you use that canvas instead of a 1/4" to XLR cable?

There was no link in the description nor the video for the app used for the monitor mix.
Please list the app used, and thanks!
The app is very dependant on the mixer you're using

Sorry we missed that! The App is called MX-Q on the iPhone App Store.
How about sunday keys for android?
what is the purpose of DI box connection?
So her sound can be played through the house speakers and get it to the sound board
What is the name of the iPad stand at the end of the video you are using?
I never thought I'd see the red beast on a SS vid 😅😅😅 ...that's ok though you have to represent all I get it ..not gonna lie wish I had one😢😢😢😊😊
So how did they attach their interface and Di to the stand?
FAITH.
2:18 It wobbles because is a single X stand. Buy a double X.

Can you not use the USB out on the Nord into your laptop, rather than MIDI cables?
This is an older nord and doesn’t have a usb plug, but yes with newer nords you can
@@gideonschlichterbut there was a usb port literally next to the midi ports on the vid.

Pretty sure it’s just double sided tape
