Denise: I absolutely love all your patterns. Thank you so much for sharing. I've only been loom knitting a little over a year, since I became disabled and on oxygen 24/7, you have taught me everything I know so far. You are so easy to understand and follow, especially for beginners. Thanks again and keep up the good work!!
I love this so much that I'm going ro start a tradition with my children. Right now i have one daughter but every christmas, birthday and holiday i will make her a doll of some sort. Her 1st birthday im making a doll like this with pink and blue striped dress and a cupcake hat. Easter ill make her bunny and or chicks. I wanted to start a tradition something she can have every year that.i put my whole heart into. Thank you for giving me that by doing what you do here. Dont stop making these please!!!! You are sooo talented and i learn so much from you!
That is SOooooo beautiful at so many levels all I can says is WOW! What an awesome and tangible tradition. Those will be treasures she will be able to pass on to her own children. Bravo 👏🏽
@@LoomaHat thanks :) and thanks for the idea too i love all of your work! Im so excited to start working on her dolls. First one im making her in an elephant costume. She was an elephant for her first halloween. :)
I love this little doll. I have now made 3. On the last one I made I turned the skirt inside out and used it that way. I liked the pattern on the inside better. She is so sweet. Thank you
Just finished the cupcake doll and she turned out precious. Your instructions are so clearly done. Wanted to thank you for giving us several loom patterns. You do such a great amazing job. Look forward to many more.
Denise I love all of your patterns for looming. Can't wait to make this cupcake skirt doll for my granddaughter. Keep up the great work. Blessings to you and family
Oh no Robin - don't be intimidated .... Let me tell you what will make you feel better - watch the video completely before starting the project. If you do that you will "see" that the whole project is doable. I have faith in you Robin - You Got This Girlfriend. 🌻💛☺
Love your doll!! I wish I was more experienced on the loom. You do a great job explaining the steps. But I need to see step by step even if the video is an hour long. Thanks for sharing!!!
I absolutely love your tiny doll video. It’s very well instructed and you have a beautiful voice on your videos. I just love to listen to you speak. Thanks so much for all your easy and beautiful projects. S.. Walker
Miss you are very talented thank you for sharing your talents with us all ,I don't know if I will be able to do one myself but I do love watching you thank you
Awwww Thank YOU so much for your sweet words. Please watch the video completely and try - you might be able to make this if you do one part at a time. Another toy projec that is easier is this one: ruclips.net/video/fNWi6u8QFBs/видео.html
Hello, Miss Denise. I love watching your videos so I can get ideas for new projects. I was wondering, on one of your dolls, she had 2 different colors, one for her Feet (shoes) and another color for her legs. How many rows were made between her shoes and legs? And also on her arms and hands? Thank you so much for sharing your expertise 😊😊
I wanted to thank you for putting so much effort and time into your videos. You have a very soothing voice. I have p.t.s.d. and your videos have taught me another way to deal with what happened to me, it's very relaxing so thank you, I don't think you understand how much you effect other peoples lives. Not only that but when I make your dolls its not just relaxing it is making someone else happy, I put the dolls in Christmas shoe box and to children that taken away from parents for what ever reason. I have a question, I would love to make a doll that tells about Jesus. What the color red means, or what the color white means so on and so on. I idea can to me when I saw how colorful your clown so was. Please let me know if you can design one
Thank you so much for this pattern. I see these dolls and I think Stocking Stuffers. I love your toy patterns they are wonderful. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for all your coaching to make these dolls , my granddaughters loved them , I started giving them names as I create them going forward ! Will post pics after this comment , I don’t see the box to ad them now ! How do i share pics ??
Wooowww...preciosa lindo trabajo gracias por compartir mi hija cumpleaños mañana intentaré hacerle una hoy ,si pudieras subir este tutorial en español mil gracias bendiciones....😘🤗
Hi Denise Thanks for your videos. I have had a request from a friend for an Afro Caribbean doll. Any ideas what yarn to use & patterns for clothes please? 🤔 Thank you 😍🥰
I'm about halfway through! One minor correction--on your directions for the skirt rows at 11:15 and 12:53, it should be knit for rows 23-24, unless we are meant to knit 3 rows?? Thanks!!!
I am trying to see if there is a comment here asking why you did a modified drawstring as opposed to a full drawstring and I am sure there is a reason. Could you explain what that would be. I am looking forward to trying this out. I have made about 8 dolls on your comfort doll video and love them. Your instructions are very easy to follow. Thank you.
Hi Julie - the regular drawstring (not the flat drawstring) leaves a bumpy top that is hard to work with. This leaves a nice flat top you can feed your hook through easily.
Thank you...I should have guessed being that it's called the flat drawstring. Thank you for getting back to me. I am now on doll number 8 of comfort dolls and doll 5 of the baby dolls. I have yet to attempt cupcake doll, but I am looking forward to it. Thank you so much for your videos.
This video is older so I don't remember. But keep in mind two things, it could be that I said 24 "more" rows which means to add the one being demostrated and I wouldn't worry to much about 1 or 2 rows difference. Never over think these. If it not a wearable like a sweater - try not to overthink the project - just have fun. 🙂
So if you want to add shoes that match your outfit, at which row would you switch colors and finish the feet??? Sorry I have so many questions I’m just excited to get started!!!!
Hi, Denise I really love your teachings very easy to follow... I would like to know what color black you used for Coco.... I would really like to make her...😄
Hi Shauna - she is my favorite - Her skin tone is buff but the outfit is a discontinued color by Simply soft - I love it too- but no label. I make my dolls mostly from my scrap yarn.
I luv them💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾I didn't know u can make a doll with a loom n I'm on here trying to find out how to crochet a doll👀 lol this is the doll size I want not the skinny dolls😐😂 thx so much n wish me luck😉
Funny - I was first considering one of the those skinny dolls - I feel like the chubby features make them look sweeter.... but the skinny doll is coming one day or year ..... Hey and THANKS for the thx !
Denise, Thanks for sharing your doll patterns. I can not wait to get started. I bought the Martha Stewart kit. I got the wrong yarn so i will have to get the worcested yard you mentions. Also, i think it is a great idea having the markers. Where did you get them. They look like they are perfect size to make your work when needed. I will watch as many of your videos as i can and we are having a nor' easter, no snow yet but when it is all over i will go to Joanns and get the right yarn. Thank you for all your videos. This is all new to me so i can going to watch as many as i can.
For the markers you can just use tiny braid bands you can find them online or Walmart in the hair section - I also have this link: www.etsy.com/shop/LoomaHat?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=19225525
Hi Denise, I luv these dolls so much! I made one I call My Strawberry Surprise and I made one of the little baby dolls too. I show them in my Vlogmas video and suggest everyone check out the link to your video in my description box so everyone can make a least one! They are the cutest dolls I've ever seen! Thank you so much for sharing them and for all your amazing tutorials. :-)
Hi Miss P - THANK YOU for asking - yes I will be making a larger doll but she will not be a baby and it may not be a project that I complete this year. You can just use the 31 peg loom and add more rows to each section of the pattern.
Thank YOU for the Thank you Pam , I really appreciate it ! This was a fun project for me and I'm hoping to design a lot more. A totally appreciate the encouragement.
I really love your patterns! I’ve made some dolls using your patterns and I love them! I do have just a couple questions, though. How would I loom knit a doll jacket? I’d like to make one with sleeves and one without sleeves. I’ve tried looking up patterns and can’t find any that help.
I'd like to know the same question. Would love to make doll clothes on the loom! However, I did make a different skirt for this doll by doing a tiny hat with a ruffle. Instead of closing the hat at the top, like you normally would, close it slightly to fit around the waist. But that's all I know how to do. I want to make dresses and jackets😁💕
How beginner friendly is this. My cousin has two small girls that I hope to make something for has a gift for Christmas that gives me some time to practice. I would my a simple scarf on my long loom or a hat but they live in Florida not much use for those there.
These are SO cute and I'm about to start on my first one. Question -- How do you do the hair like the doll in all-black that's an example doll (She's on the slide that says "Drawstring Cast On")?
What guage is your loom trying to figure out how to make a bigger baby I want to try and make one that you can put preemie size clothes so the clothes can be changed so it can be made for a special needs child its soft wont hurt them and washer friendly
I wanted to ask, does the written pattern also include introductions to the doll that has hat and hair under it or just to the one with long hair and a bun?
Thanks for the tutorial. I loom knit my first doll today. 😊

It's actually Melissa Darlin. Not sure why it came up under my grandmother's name. Oops
I love your tutorials. I just started to loom knit and I enjoy it. You describe what you are doing so good that even a novice like myself can do it.

Hi Denise i love your videos theyre easy to follow. Im a little cofused tho with the skirt. Its szys to knit 25 rows but it only adds up to 24 rows?
This video is older so I don't remember. Elonda- I made one like that a while ago but I didn’t write it down so I can’t say for sure but if I were to try it again I would do like 5 rows.
Thank you so much, so happy and the doll is adorable, love it 😍

I show them in my Vlogmas video and suggest everyone check out the link to your video in my description box so everyone can make a least one! They are the cutest dolls I've ever seen! Thank you so much for sharing them and for all your amazing tutorials. :-)
Thank YOU Claudette that is SUPER sweet of you. I really appreciate it !!!😘
Adorable!
Thank YOU Dot !!! Theres also a Ballerina and a Mermaid.
this is awesome... must try... one question wonder if I want it bigger ... how would I do that.. can you do one bigger pretty please
Hi Miss P - THANK YOU for asking - yes I will be making a larger doll but she will not be a baby and it may not be a project that I complete this year. You can just use the 31 peg loom and add more rows to each section of the pattern.
Thank you for your wonderful videos
Thank YOU for the Thank you Pam , I really appreciate it ! This was a fun project for me and I'm hoping to design a lot more. A totally appreciate the encouragement.
Hi Denise, can you show us how to knit hair on? Thanks very much 😊
I really love your patterns! I’ve made some dolls using your patterns and I love them! I do have just a couple questions, though. How would I loom knit a doll jacket? I’d like to make one with sleeves and one without sleeves. I’ve tried looking up patterns and can’t find any that help.

Very nice beautiful hairstyle
Thank YOU - I really Rajarajeswari appreciate it
I have a quick question do we count the cast on row into the 1-4 rows? I hope that makes sense☺️
In most of her videos, she does not count the cast on as a row
Hi Looma, I have an 18 peg loom! Can I still do this project? Or do I really need a 24 pegged loom?
-Thank you!! 😋
These are SO cute and I'm about to start on my first one. Question -- How do you do the hair like the doll in all-black that's an example doll (She's on the slide that says "Drawstring Cast On")?
Here is the video: ruclips.net/video/HImI-pFUHsE/видео.html
Love this! Thanks for posting. Can you tell us where you got your peg markers?
Hi Cherriza - I sell those on Etsy - not too many choices (sorry) left I've sold out a lot since this video : goo.gl/q5BPff
Did you ever release the pattern for the doll at the end your next doll project?
One more thing🤔 do u have any other ideas or other ways of doing the eyes 👀
What guage is your loom trying to figure out how to make a bigger baby I want to try and make one that you can put preemie size clothes so the clothes can be changed so it can be made for a special needs child its soft wont hurt them and washer friendly
Love this
I wanted to ask, does the written pattern also include introductions to the doll that has hat and hair under it or just to the one with long hair and a bun?
No - but I gave you a "somewhat" pattern on facebook. Check your message
