It doesn’t make any sense that Che is invited to Carrie’s apt for the last supper. She wasn’t even Carrie’s friend, she was her boss and she didn’t experience any of the 25 years of story that happen in that apt. Che is an acquaintance. As a friend to Miranda, I would definitely not invite Che. Also I would not invite Steve for the same reason. He’s nice and I understand Carrie has a good interaction with him But NEVER in the série did she invite him alone to her apt. He is Miranda’s ex. She needs to learn bounderies. Having a close relationship with your friend’s husband is very different that being nice to him. Carrie would kill Miranda if she dared invite Big at her house warming party after he jilted her. So Carrie is selfish and also painfully clueless. Doesn’t she want a drama free party for her last supper?
Omg, thank you! I can accept Che being a dick in their standup act. (It sucks, but they are a comic working on new material). But Carrie should’ve at least walked out with Miranda. Then Carrie has the audacity to shame Miranda when she says that she - rightfully so! - won’t feel comfortable at the dinner party. It’s just a stupid party. If your best friend of 30 years won’t feel good there, let her bow out gracefully or disinvite her exes.
Che is an abuser. I dont like Miranda, but I find the piling on her by this unfunny comedian and her so called friend Carrie disgusting. Its ridiculous that she cant tell Che not to come to the dinner when Che is the problem.
