SATC was so brilliant that I still keep re-watching it. Great script, great characters a amazingly fabulous fashion. I cannot bring myself watching AJLT to the end even short clips. Not only scraping the barrel. It is highly embarrassing script and awfully tatestless fashion.... Remember when Carrie hated the bejewelled swan purse? Now she is parading what pigeon monstrosity....😱 Please, please stop ruining the good memories.... It's over! O. V. E.R. Over!
Are you talking about the white dress with the turquoise hat and veil? that was her wedding dress in the first movie, and and it was a NOD to the recently deceased fashion designer, the late great Viviene Westwood..She designed that dress specifically for Carrie and has a history in the show.. Where have you been??? clearly not informed about the fashion world...if you don't like the new series dont watch it but Shhhh while the rest of us watch..

I barely recognize this show anymore. I am all for new characters being introduced but they need to be supporting characters not taking time away from Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda. I miss scenes with those three together. There seemed to be none of that in the first two eps of season two which was disappointing.

I like the new characters, they bring out the best of the show. Carrie & Miranda's scenes so far are fine but with Charlotte living in LA with her gf there's not so much to talk about besides finding herself in LA.

I really hope it steps up a notch, but have to say, I'm looking forward to the return of Aiden and what direction that will go in, I hope it takes the scowl off Carrie's face because she looks permanently pissed off at the moment.
Sorry but Carrie coming down in her wedding dress was not a " big moment", as the emotional Michael seem to think. Instead of flowing out of a luxury apartment onto lovely carpet, we get creeping out of her ageing apartment onto dreary concrete steps looking slightly underwhelmed 😮😢
I love them all, but I have to say... Nicole Ari Parker is the grounding force in this series for me. There is a very organic depth and maturity to her acting that balances out all of the camp moments, and her comedic timing is impeccable. Of course, she is stunning, but it's her acting chops that really impress me. Sarita Choudhury is also hitting it out of the park. Looking forward to the next episode!
Why does SJP keep wearing that necklace that attaches to her bra strap? “Carrie” wore it in episode 2 last night. SJP wore it in two Vogue “My Life in Looks” videos. It’s so strange! What’s the obsession???? I hate it so much. Distracting in a bad way
The way Patricia Field dressed Carrie for SATC was quirky and clever. This is not. It's trying too hard to be unique but ends up making her look like a bag lady 9 out of 10 times. I like that they brought back the wedding dress but I wish they had chosen contrasting gloves. The matchey matchey thing wasn't in keeping with Carrie's style.
This show is pandering to everyone except the original fans that grew up to this and loved this show…. Stop trying to make CHE happen. Nobody likes her nobody relates to her and she’s cocky but not attractive which makes it even weirder… this franchise is dead
