And Just Like That Season 2 Episode 10: Carrie, Che and Miranda Drama
My husband is 50 and I'm 38. Weve been friends for 20 years and have been together the last 11 in a relationship. Our relationship after 10 years started to feel like another day same crap mentality. Then I got pregnant and our daughter is 10 months old. She has brought a new dynamic to our relationship and my husband has changed since the baby was born. He gives her 80% of his attention and I get the rest lol. He's definitely a Mr Mom and the way he treats her is just wonderful and having a baby has made us stronger. There's something about being a family that makes a relationship stringer. He recently said babe you know before she was born either one of us could have ended our relationship without consequence but now there's a kid that has both of us in her and she deserves the best parents in the world. Our love for each other has grown to a level I never experienced before the baby was born. Those who say it's to expensive and ate using that as an excuse to not have a baby are lying for making that their reason for not wanting a baby. There's a lot of assistance out there like WIC and Foodstamps. You just don't know what love is until you see that little baby looking back at you smiling and saying I love you with their eyes. It's so beautiful and I got lucky because our daughters father goes out of his way to be a great daddy. When your baby snuggles up between you at night and passes out because she feels safe and warm you'll understand then what it's all about ❤
All these kooky ladies acting like they had a choice 😂
All that cope and no legacy😂😂😂😂. The anti depressants talking
I am 41, just had my first in December. I have traveled the world and seen and done so much in life. I am thankful for all the experiences. Don't let your family pressure you. Do it because you want too!! Regrets can happen either way. So be sure in your decision making.
64 year old female and no kids. Best decision of my entire life. Unfortunately, I had to deal with strangers, for the most part, males who attempted the guilt trip by telling me that I would miss out on the joys of birth and motherhood.
Why are we having this conversation, like why do we beed to verbalise being happy for not having kids? People with kids usually dont verbalise happiness or unhappiness. I believe theres a void and most fill it with nieces and nephews and kids of others. Kids are an important component of happiness.
I had kids and don't regret it at all, but I think it is pretty difficult to assess how I would feel about the road not taken. Seems like an unfair question. Maybe it would be better to ask people who have children, and even have grandchildren, if they are happy about that.
You know the funny thing here is you can't compare a life of not having kids to a life of having them so saying you don't have any regrets is a skewed perspective because it's like saying I don't regret never having chocolate cake I mean how do you f****** know
Its ok until u get older! Father time always wins and u will regret it
Love you girl! ❤
I am 53 and have no kids. No regrets. I toyed with the idea of having them in my thirties but for many reasons decided not to. Having children is something you should really want since it is basically a lifetime commitment.
This is how feminism brainwashes and melts women's brains, marry your career, sleep around and destroy your value in the relationship market. Virtuous men will avoid you like the plague. What this 50-year-old woman is doing is called "mate suppression," but hey ladies, do listen to her and good luck on your journey.
Your an outlier. Sorry you didn’t want to grow up the male version of this is being Peter Pan for life. Now if your life has massive goals like in the arts or medical research or starting a company that will better the lives of society and provide jobs for your community fair enough that can be a legacy and life fulfilling on your death bed but that is maybe at most 5% of the population. The vast majority of people will say the most fulfilling part of life was family. Best of luck if you want to go a different route you are definitely doing it the hard way.
Its a personal choice or sometimes its not a choice. But its no one elses business.
What is life with no challenge?
Spinds like you took advantage of other people kids.
63 and children free! Noooooo regrets!
Unfortunately, the only ones regularly having kids are illegal, immigrants
Also 70 and child free. Never been happier!
Yum! Be kind be vegan ❤
I understand, it's your choice but... Imagine your parents said that too😂😂
42/male here, and I do not have any kids, I just don't like the idea of the responsibility, and then you have to dedicate your whole life to raising them and tending to them, and that's just not me, It's not something that sounds appealing to me, I'd rather focus on my own life and do what I want,
I recently asked my Dad if I was missing out by not having kidd (I never felt I was; I'm 41). He said "you know, we got lucky with you guys. Look at (x) -- his daughter does drugs and steals from him and now he's in his late 60's having to raise his grandkids like they're his own. You think he likes that?! (He does not) Look at (y) -- their kid's in jail. So, I'd say you're doing fine (childless), because it (having a child) could really go either way!" And I appreciate his honest and FULL perspective on that, not just the idyllic version we tend to get.
The best thing is to have children. However, the reason people don't have children is because the world is horrible. The truth.
62. Got fixed at 19, thank you PP. No regrets. I don't want the infernal little daemons around me AT ALL!
How do you deal with that part of you that just Wtf, wants, needs to have kids tho
Whether you wanted kids or not, nature has already decided the issue for you. The train has left the station.
Me and my husband are 41 years old and been together for 20 years and married for 12 years. There was a time that we tried to have kids. I mean really tried doctors, hospital visits, medicine but nothing seemed to work and IVF cost a lot and I wasn't ready to take the risks it brings and I was falling into depression and after I have seen my mother with depression I wasn't going to let that happen to me so one day I woke up and throw away all the medicine we were taking and told my husband of how I was feeling.he told me is all in your hands we do what you want. Until now I do not regret that we stopped trying. Like she said being a parent isn't what it used to be
Actually, in Catholicism, being single and childless is a perfectly acceptable (and even encouraged) path of life. The problem Catholics have is when that path is chosen to live in promiscuity. Being single and childless gives you the opportunity to contribute to the world in ways that those who have children can’t.
If u don't want to be a parent, don't get married. Men are the biggest babies on the earth!
I had no interest in having children but when I got married, my husband wanted kids, so we had a couple. I don't think I ever felt as much love for anyone as I felt for my girls. Now I have two granddaughters and love them to bits. They are my greatest joy. To each his own.
does nobody think it's weird that the world considers you wrong for thinking you don't like being here and bringing more people here? Like you're supposed to like this world and society you're born into despite not having a say in it at all.
Bullshit
This is not a one person question! It takes two. Accept that women will have children if they want to. I always have believed in women.
THE GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT IN LIfE IS NOT MONEY , OR A CAREER, OR WRITING A BOOK.. OR HAVING CATS.. BUT TO HAVE A HUSBAND SO THAT HE CAN GIVE U KIDS... IS A MATERNAL INSTINCT THAT GOD GAVE YOU, AND HE CANT GET IT WRONG.. BUT IF UR DECISION IS NOT TO HAVE KIDS, IS PERFECTLY OKAY.. BUT THEN DONT COMPLAIN.. JUST AGE AS YOU ARE GRacEFULLY DOING, TO DIE ONE DAY.. AND THAT''S OKAY.... NO NEED TO BRING A KID WITH ALL THESE PROBLEMS UR MENTIONING.
money as always .. u know what, please dont have them ur so greedy
No kids, no husband. Just great roomies and a good semi-retired life.
I’m 29 years old and have no desire to be a mother because I’m not fit. My parents have zero interests in having grandchildren in their lives and that’s okay. I got my tubes removed for a permanent birth control and I’m happy with someone who doesn’t want children either. But I’d like to have one cat.
No kids and lovin life. No regrets. I have money, an amazing career, and a fabulous marriage. I travel and just live life to the fullest. It's THE BEST!!
The extra colds would never be worth it!
No kids at 41 and no regrets!
With time, a woman goes from pro-choice to no choice. It's just nature.
No choice is better than bringing a child into the world that is unwanted.
I am 44 and I am totally ok without having kids.
Woman who say they don't want kids ect are just coping to hold the depression at bay temporarily.
The way I knew this comment would be from a man 😂 it's the fear of man to be alone that's so entertaining to watch 😂😂 more and more women are choosing to not have kids and everywhere you go you see they are happier women lol. You try to hard to stop women from doing this because the more they do this the more you have to be alone and you are SO SCARED of that! 😂😂😂
I won't invalidate what you're saying (especially on the basis of your sex--that's just sexist). A lot of women are lying to themselves saying they won't regret not having kids or maybe they don't know/expect they will regret it. And then there's a minority who will be fine with it. I think at least 60% will regret it. That's a modest estimate.
@RBFR01 And I'm sure those women can choose to have kids anytime they want. They more than likely don't want to mess up their bodies for a man who will bail out on fatherhood when the child is born.
Going on RUclips to get the affirmation she never got from having a family of her own
I would love to get married and have stepkids if I can't have my own.
If we are childless, who is going to take care of us when we get older?
I'd love to be a father but not in America with the way family law is here and how most American women are.
That doesn’t sound like a typical RC mom and Dad…lol
I want to know your skin care ❤️
