The river feels wild and remote in this section because there is very little development along the river, probably due to that geology. Its also teaming with waterfowl, raptors, cranes, etc, down this section. Thanks for watching Anton, glad you liked it.
hello from the ozarks Jonesworld! thanks for sharing your adventures , that brought back lots of inspiring memories when i put in at stlouis,mo down the missiippi to the ohio up to Tennesse river and canaled to the cumberland to nashville! tight lines!
Thank you! That's sounds like a nice trip! We took the canal over to the Tennessee from the Cumberland. That Kentucky lake, wow, it was like being on the ocean the day we came through there.
Hello Stan! The system is called Intellisteer. Here is a link to their website -intellisteer.com/ Mine is an S version for a cable steering boat. Its easy install, taking about an hour and a half, if you have good access behind your helm. I had to wire in a new supply circuit for mine, so it took a little longer. Search on RUclips for Intellisteer and you'll find plenty of info. It's a little pricy but it makes cruising for hours a day so much more enjoyable.
Hi Stan, The unit draws 525 watts (5000btu) typically, so a small generator should power it. I have a 2KW solar generator on my boat and it will start and run it easily, only problem is, it won't run it long before it depletes the battery bank. I can run it about 4 hours but I want to keep reserve. We don't usually travel on the water during the mid-summer months so it's not an issue for us but with the way the weather is going we may need to have air conditioning more often. When we needed air on our last trip we just popped into a marina for the night and hooked up to shore power to run is. If I was going to go with a gas gen set I'd go with something like the Honda 2000 as they are very quiet and compact. It should run a small air unit with ease, especially if it's a newer high efficiency unit. Mines 20 yrs. old. You'd just have to be sure not to run other high load devices like an electric kettle at the same time. Good luck on your project!
Hi Andy! It took right at 30 days, which was not as long as I thought it would take. We were lucky with good weather and no mechanical issues or other things to hold us up. I've got a lot more of the trip I need to get posted on RUclips, but this summer has been a real challenge with time. Thanks for watching!

Thanks. Looking forward to seeing mire videos.
this is a pontoon boat
Baically it is. I guess the difference being that this boat had fiberglass hulls - a catamaran. There are many hybrids of these type boats.
Awesome !!!
