Striped Bass Gone Crazy... IN THE WASH!!

- This was the afternoon from the morning I Albie fished, I was actually on my way home at noon and realized I was walking away from something good so I turned around, put my waders back on, and went for a longgg walk down a deserted NJ beach. I was hoping to catch albies again but knew there'd be some bass potential so after seeing there were no albies I threw the popper. What I was not expecting to happen happened, the bass were piled up into the end of a trough tight to the beach. Red hot action lasted until another fisherman rolled up, when I decided it was best to play dumb and walked away from bites every cast. 20-30 minutes later I returned to the honey hole after walking half a mile to the north with no bites, it was such a small area of fish I figured it was best to keep it to myself, anyway the fishing got steadily worse as time went on even though the skies became overcast and the sun dipped. Those bass were in such deep feeding mode that they didnt mind the afternoon sun and eventually I picked through the whole school (thats my theory at least).
Thanks For Watching!

Awesome video love the constant action keepers or not or catching nothing it's all about the adventure 👍🏻👊🏻💥🤘🏻😎🐟💯
Son! Bass were slammin! Thanks for posting!
You need to get a flyrod. That was a great spot for that. 8-10wt rod with a floating WF line and you would be having even more fun. Very nice video.
I immediately thought the same thing.
Enjoy your videos buddy. Waiting to catch you on the surf. Awesome fishing !
You're awesome man, lots of fun to watch!
I love your videos, keep up the great work!!

Awesome man!!!!
Sea-Money, I was excited by your latest video! The latest fishing reports, Thursday. Woodbridge,N.J. and north. Legal sized Strippers and cocktail blues have been caught. They estimate, 2 to 3 weeks till the water temperature drops around A.C./Corsons Inlet.
I can't wait,very excited for what's heading my way!
Nice. I wouldn't care if they were stripers or blues on a day like that. Would love to get over to the US to try for stripers.
this is a great freakin video my man
very nice bro... good caught!
That was a great fishing session you got into, and good video footage! I wish we had more stripers here in the surf off of LA/Orange Counties (So Cal). A few weeks ago, a guy caught a 31", 10# striper off the surf here and gave it to me. It tasted much better than the halibut I caught a few days earlier. Keep making good videos!
Great video awesome catches
I like the videos where ya keep fish. Most people just about catch and release but guess what fish is good lol
awesome video, u deserve more subs for this content
I use to place white tape on my rod, measured out to 28" for a quick reading.
Everybody does that except this dude....
so nice to be in the right place at the right time
Nice! Will go tomorrow!
Crazy for sure what a day.....
How do you like your hobie kayak? I've seen you had some problems with it and saw that a bunch of other people had same issues also. Is it a craft you would recommend?
great video bro
Great adventures man, looks like you've been busy lately..

Bro that was insane!!!! I'm bout to head up north for some salmon! Tight lines in the salt tho for sure!!!!

Ah man I want to be there with ya bro.
Awesome.
Awesome!
what is your set up and how much did it cost???
Lol "I will enjoy this" dude ur the shit bro
what color smack-it do you recommend for surf fishing like this.
just moved down to NC from long island. Bringing back some memories.
N.C has great striper fishing off shore from oregan inlet north to cape henry V.A in january.
Im down in Wilmington. I should have the reds in the surf here before i know it.
Wow you are a lucky guy
hey man quick question is it too warm to wear neoprene waders?
keep it up man.
Hey Money don't u break the barb to make it easier to remove the hook?
what camera are you using for the video?
daaaaamn son?!
where do u purchase your plugs at and what kind of set up do u use rod and reel sweet video
Dude living in cherry hill, idk if you would, but I'd love to hit some striper like this. Im a fresh waterfisherman but you've made me want to do stuff like this considerably more since it's so close.
quick question where are you fishing !? j/k
real question is what website do you use to check wind speed/direction or if there any wave indicator ?
+John Hu i use an app called windfinder
Ding that popper is hot, too bad im too far to fish there but i hope i can search for that lure and buy it to use on wipers when i go to Iowa this summer.
awesome
good vid
That it's so crazy man
what kind of rod are u using in this vid
cuz do you ever not caching fish wow great video I'm in clear water working is that smacking lure good down here
Damn son :)
Man, I'm jealous of you
what size reel do you use?
Dude i live in DE. If you ever want to go to Cape Henlopen and surf fish let me know!! I got a new Tacoma and im not afraid to use it lol
how i wish it's like that here in California hehe. tightlines
You caught those at gunnison beach?
Do you think I could catch Stripped Bass on the Smack-it popper out in the Pacific Ocean (San Francisco Area)? Or is it more of an Atlantic thing?
Keeper smeeker the enjoyment alone was catching as the wave desovled to suds.
Which Jersey beach were you at?
What part of jersey is this
When is a good time to go fish the long island sound?
+killerninjao1o right now!
Video is awesome. But the part about keeping the spot to yourself is a bit selfish. No pun. As a fisherman myself I find joy in sharing thre bounty with others. The joy of fishing just needs to be shared.
'Dang son, where'd you find this one?'🎙
#damnson your vids remind me of McDonald's cause I'm lovin it, lol I had to. Seriously though great vid
Are u fishing in south jersey or north jersey
Whats your opinion on that rod? likes / dislikes? looking into that rod myself as my main go to surf rod i hate fishing 10'6" + size rods. i like the smaller ones just want your opinion
its pretty good only for lighter stuff like these these smack-its or sp's or metals for tunoids, it gets really good distance on the cast. its light. I dont like how thin the grips are, the old tiralejo had fatter grips and it was comfortable
how is it on bucktails like 2oz? its rated 3/4 to 3oz
3/4-3 yep, it can definitely handle 2oz bucktails although 3oz is pushing it. its pretty parabolic and doesnt have the backbone I would want for trying to wing out a big plug or jig.. its a little weak in the knees you could say. I use it for flatheads on the schuylkill occasionally and it gets destroyed by 8-10lb fish regularly.. it doesnt have the backbone to keep them off the bottom, meanwhile my old tiralejo was beastly on flatheads and could still chuck a mag darter. def feel it out at a store if you havent yet, see if you like it
thank you! much appreciated !
Hey there one question what's the name of the beach or the address can u guys help me with that
Dang son!
I live in central nj any suggestions on beaches to fish?
one with wata
where is this at?
Measure to the fork of the tail, right?
Sea-Money
really like your vid's ...question for you....what waders / shoes are you using?
+marceljax those are LL bean waders, not sure on which specific ones but i will say those boots are not designed for sand and i am looking to get a different pair asap. Ive gone through about 5 pairs of waders in the past year and havent found any i really love
Sea-Money Fishing cabelas has some good choices
Sea-Money Fishing Thanks man for the quick response .....can't wait to try all the stuff I have learned from watching your vids....and hope I can catch some fall stripers down here in DE.
is it also a good time to fish
never realized how much striped bass look like tigerfish
seems like they hit right after the white water passes over.
I saw like a 5 foot green striped bass with extremely green neon straps on the beach when I was swimming
Catfsihnig that is actually a green shark or a breed of sand sharks I'm not entirely sure. They are not harmful so you don't need to worry about that
Around Where in jersey was that
dude where is this place
Could you tell me when the rockfish move up into the Chesapeake bay
+Matthew Hartman early spring and late fall, but theyre there year round as well
Sea-Money Fishing thanks. Keep up the awesome videos
there are stripers in the bay year round. thy spawn up the james river in the spring. there are only certain times of the year that you can keep them. best action is in january from cape henry to oregan inlet. but the water temps have to be right to get them within the three mile limit. the bay is full of schoolies. off shore is where you'll find the hogs.
THAT BEACH IS AND WHERE IS?
This may sound strange but have you ever used CHICKEN LIVERS for bait?
Freeze a small tub of it over night and try it and you will not believe the results.
I'd like to see a video if you try it.
@@LafIeursdumal A lot of us lake fishermen know about it but there are a lot of Northern fishermen that don't realize how effective Chicken Livers are for striped bass.
I got one guy to try it in the mid 90's and he was dumbfounded at the positive results. He basically said he almost got 100 bites out of 100 casts.
