  • @sammiecaisley
    @sammiecaisley 4 года назад +1

    Awesome work mate. I hope I’m wrong but that motor doesn’t sound healthy, seemed to have low compression when you turned it over

    • @BenKeeneOfficial
      @BenKeeneOfficial  4 года назад

      Thanks Mate, i thought the same. it had been sitting for a couple years only being turned over ever 6 months. after it was running for abit longer it stopped doing it. I assume there may have been some corrosion on the valves. Thanks for the concern though Bro!

    I’m doing a barra swap into a 49 ford.
    Iv ripped out most of the wiring out of the donor Falcon. Would you know if I could run it on a stock ecu, wiring, fuse boxes etc ? Or would you know how I can find more info on like a re wire kinda buzz ? Thanks mate

      @@BenKeeneOfficial I've got the factory one that came with my fg should I just modify that or get one made?

    • @BenKeeneOfficial
      @BenKeeneOfficial  4 года назад

      Sam Foster the engine loom doesn’t have to be modified. All you will need is the the body loom and 30cm of wire. And get the loom made off that. If you can afford a plug and play do that is not get the standard one modified

    I have a question , why did u go rod shop not dellows ?

    • @BenKeeneOfficial
      @BenKeeneOfficial  4 года назад +1

      Matty Moto, Hey mate at the time I hadn’t heard many good things about the dellow kit at the time and rod shop had a complete kit so It was easy as. Have had no issues at all with the kit and definitely recommend it. Only thing id say about the rod shop kit is the engine mounts should have bigger plates to weld to chassis with plug holes.
