I honestly don't think she meant it that way. I probably am wrong, but from what I heard I think she meant since men have always been in position of power for so long (even our own time), it would be better if more women were in power. (key word is more). I understand she doesn't say "more", but from her use of specific jargon and phrasing, it leads me to believe that shes not saying meaning what we think shes means. The phrase she repeats that makes me think this is "in the current state that were in right now." She does not say forever, ultimately, or for eternity, just right now, which would imply that it wouldn't be forever. Its not necessarily saying that women in complete power ultimately is better for us, I think she's just saying that, again, "right now" it would be better if women were in power. That way it would lead us to a place where able to get to a better state of living and potentially have equal parts in power, given that women were given more power. (she gives examples) She held a good argument at the start and her following points completely contradict her statement. It didn't make sense, so I had a feeling that her words were misinterpreted. At least far right activists can admit their racism LMAO. before i get into any of this, i am left leaning. these extreme leftists are openly racist, but claim they cannot be racist because they are black. or, you have white women kissing black ass with some self-martyring white guilt. or, my personal favorite, because they are pro-LGBTQ, pro-trans, prochoice, vegan, etc they cannot be racist. because they're fighting for so many other fronts and even against racism (or strictly just white people that hate minorities. not minorities hating minorities or minorities hating white people), they are certain they are not racist. even though they constantly shit on white people. dont get me wrong, the 'fuck white people' thing is hilarious. i know it isnt referring to ALL white people. i know white people jokes are hilarious. but, you'd be surprised how many actually do mean it. how many do refer to all white people. i was legit told by a black woman that because black people are oppressed and hold no power, they cannot be racist, only prejudiced. sure. systematically, yes. it is very difficult for a black person to systematically be racist or oppress others. if black people rose to positions of power and became the majority in population, would white people no longer be capable of being racist? following their logic, of course. i hope these extreme leftists know that they're on their own list. you want all racists eradicated? well, sure. those white conservative southerners are gone, just like most of us wanted. most karens and some politicians are gone. lots of boomers. but, surely you don't think a few of those asian-hating black people as of recent are going to be exempt from this cleansing you wanted, right? we can go all the way down that list of racists that you want gone, but you'll always be too blinded looking at the top of it to realize that you're being saved for last.
The exact view point of the LGBTQ+ community. They do not believe heterophobia exists. Now... I am gay and I believe it exists. Not that much but think of it like this: If there is a coin with a seriously scratched up side doesn't mean the other side doesn't exist, sure it doesn't have much damage, but it is still there. Now, sexual phobias and oppression are not the same, you can be homophobic but not oppress someone. People can be heterophobic but can't really oppress straight people.

True true, however i think the issue does not have a simple bumper sticker solution. Who(what gender) decides what passes as "most qualified" for example? Therefore men are beginning to feel discriminated against as they’re losing their upper hand
@@ellaneve1021 men do not feel “under threat” as you described. I can say with confidence that 99.9% of men agree with gender equality. Describing men in the way that you did actually associates the actions and opinions of our male ancestors to current men based strictly on gender, which is honestly quite prejudice. That being said, your interpretation still possesses a few flaws. While the treatment of women around the world over the past centuries has been wrong, it has also come with certain unintended benefits to women, for example not being required to enter their names into war drafts. Unfortunately the feminist movement has devolved into gender equality in some places, while keeping these unintended luxuries intact. The government is now trying to pass a bill that requires women to enter their name into the draft, and feminists are very upset. Their main argument being “who will take care of the kids”. Fathers who have had to be drafted for centuries have also had this problem, but nobody bats an eye at that. @Nanaman Your comment highlights much of issues of feminism and aswell as in general, groups and group think. "Do you honestly believe that there aren't over zealous and irrational people in in every other group of people." of course I do... this doesn't change the fact that one group can be mostly filled with extremist compared to other group that isn't - this seems to be your issue here. "I could find you crazy people in Men's Rights Activists, Trump supporters, Christians, Atheist." Well no shit... Any group binded with ideas is bound to have extremists or move to extremism (if not policed properly)... which Feminism has failed on. This is nothing more then whataboutism to deflect the criticism from one group on to other group. This doesn't change the fact that Modern Day Feminist is filled with people like the one in this video. "This argument could apply to any demographic." No it doesn't (well the example you use below) Unless you want to compare apples to oranges. "I could look at serial killers and say "these men (most men are serial killers, so it's actually based on a fact") are representative of the "modern day man"." This point is really sad - here you are trying to deflect the critcisim of Feminism... by comparing a group formed around ideas to a group that is formed base on genetics (or any other innate qualities). I do hope you see how silly that example was? "How do you even quantity the amount of extreme feminists to where it's big enough to be a representation?" Easy, you look at the ideals it houses and aswell as the action of the group in question. This is a group that produced things such as the #killallmen, blames everything on the Patriarchy and Men, Toxic Mascuality (but no Toxic Femininity), Wage gap, Man spreading, etc and etc something you (and feminists) seem to ignore heavily. These ideals are not located on forum btw, they are espouse in unversities, by professors, journlists etc. People (including me) have seen and personally meet them. There is a reason why so few women are calling themselves feminist now. You wonder why your group gets viewed as man hating extremist or even attract them so easily. "At this point, you're as illogical than the feminist in the red flannel." Sure thing - then again I'm not the one comparing a group based on ideals to a group based on genetics... but hey what do I know.

I hope you dont mean the women in the red big jacket.. because she is not Smart At all
I honestly don't think she meant it that way.
(she gives examples)
She held a good argument at the start and her following points completely contradict her statement. It didn't make sense, so I had a feeling that her words were misinterpreted. She uses specific words that say otherwise.I just dont think she correctly expressed her view point.
She wouldn't be nodding if that came out of a man's mouth

I know some extremely toxic leftists.

"I think woman have a better understanding of that" - basically admitting to have a sexist pov
@빠니젠틀PpaniGentle I guess you have no pp
@빠니젠틀PpaniGentle I'm not the one who went on a video calling out someone being sexist, read a comment calling out sexism, then not only get the impression that greenlights you being sexist just because it's against the other gender, but once being called out yourself, can't even be bothered to think of a proper defense or comeback, I'm not exactly gonna feel hurt if your insults are just recycled from my own
@빠니젠틀PpaniGentle okay, now you're using something that you didn't rip from me, that's progress, still though assuming how calm or "triggered" someone is, isn't really a good comeback, I could be livid right now and it wouldn't make a difference if what I'm saying are still better points than yours, the implication that being angry at someone else's stupidity has anything to do with with the debate itself is frankly absurd, don't even go there
Also, yes you made a joke, a sexist joke, not a joke making fun of sexism as evident by the lack of satirical execution, and confirmed by you only just bringing it up rather than telling me "it's a joke, I don't actually have that view" from the start
Oh and, hate to be that guy but that's an incorrect usage of the word "literally", that doesn't go with exaggeration since it basically means "how something actually is, no exaggeration"
@빠니젠틀PpaniGentle wow I guess you must be "triggered" to write an essay, with your logic all scientists, philosophers, novel writers must be triggered whenever they do their job
Also, I never directly said I'm not triggered? I said it doesn't matter, you're the one who has not once even defended themselves, only giving these insults and such to which I can easily rip apart, if what I'm doing says anything to do with my life style, what does you continuing to act offensively and not even bother to defend your own points say about you? Well, it says despite either realising you're wrong, or refusing to accept you're wrong but cannot think of a defence, you are still insistent on continuing this debate, which I don't know about you but topped with the mediocre at best insults doesn't give a very calm impression on yourself
Oh wow so I'm a Mister and a 12 year old now? Wait, how does that work? The proper noun for a young man is "Master", didn't you say I have no "peepee" earlier? Now you're assuming I'm a male? What do you even think I am?

“When people get used to preferential treatment, equality seems like discrimination”
- Thomas sowell
Not relevant here. Saying women can run the country better than men is straight up "preferential" itself
@@RAF-cc1ng in my opinion the quote often describes the majority of the feminist movement with painstaking accuracy. While I understand and agree with gender equality, the feminist movement has unfortunately become “equality only when it benefits women”.
@@andrewcox3137 Exactly what I mean man
Great quote but I understand it the opposite way. Men have had preferential treatment for centuries, and now that women are being treated more equally, men feel like they’re under threat because they’re losing that monopoly on power.
Which brings us to the fact that fathers are treated as second class parents, but this comment is already too long so I’ll spare you from that.

@Nanaman
Your comment highlights much of issues of feminism and aswell as in general, groups and group think.
"Do you honestly believe that there aren't over zealous and irrational people in in every other group of people."
of course I do... this doesn't change the fact that one group can be mostly filled with extremist compared to other group that isn't - this seems to be your issue here.
"I could find you crazy people in Men's Rights Activists, Trump supporters, Christians, Atheist."
Well no shit...
"I could look at serial killers and say "these men (most men are serial killers, so it's actually based on a fact") are representative of the "modern day man"."
This point is really sad - here you are trying to deflect the critcisim of Feminism... by comparing a group formed around ideas to a group that is formed base on genetics (or any other innate qualities).
The fact that they both act civilized and seem smart made me want to really listen and try to understand both of their messages.
As others pointed out, mad respect to all of them. It’s easy to get emotions involved in your arguments and then get riled up, but instead they seemed to genuinely listen and argue to bring new ideas.
There is no shame in being wrong (or shouldnt be), nor disagreeing or such.
There is shame in this case. She was pushing her own ideologies in which she convinced herself were true, thus treated men differently and attempted to push ideas on to other women to continue that discrimination. These actions are shameful and being told that you're wrong will obviously lead to you feeling shameful. As that individual should.

Recently at an Australian school, they had a group seminar on respecting women. They then made all the young boys get up in front and apologize to all the girls in the room for being born male.

In 19 century women were not allowed to sing in church... Some male conductors said in in video conversation during pandemic. But it seems today women have enough rights so it shouldnt be taken like that.... and they should choose a man who treats them well, but from the point of psychology young women probably choose bad agressive guys because they know nothing else, like if they would have good examples they would choose the good ones...but the good guys usually are very silent decent... studying some science or music so they dont have time for nonsense, therefore women dont meet them often because they are silent, decent guys... they are not the types of guys who go to tv to make some noise as a macho, therefore they are not seen in publicor they dont go to same places as the annoying guys do...I mean annoying guys may be good looking and smart but their attitude may be annoying the same is about women... some women are very decent classy, play on piano or do something genuine and use nice language...but then there are women who care only about fashion and make up and are noisy.. But but it is great when the good ones respect each other. because then they like each other more.. There are some couples that are humble and decent.
