Hi! I'm trying to convert my MK2 and place electric mirrors in the way they were intended, so It would be amazing if you can help me with next question.
Does the window buttons iluminate when you open the switch with your key (ignition), or they only are lighted up once you press the parking lights button as the hazard warning button. (sorry if it is not clear enough, I'm not to use to CAR terminology on English).
Can you show or provide the part number of the fuse above the relay and how are they connected each other.I saw it is not a convensional fuse, looks like a thermofuse.

Do you take on jobs doing these conversions on mk2's? Im looking to buy a 20vt conversion when I move house next year but there are not many garages locally who would carry out this kind of work. Nice to see these kind of expertise still exist.

So I have a question. Can you please help me how to get rpm working on my 1Z swapped into the CE1 MK2? Where from do I get the signal, and does it need any conversion?
OK you will need to use the W signal from alternator and the adjust the crank and alternator pulley to keep the same ratio as the standard mk2.

Also do you know what I need to add the seat belt warning light in my seat ibiza ? I see that it is possible because the cluster has the picture but it doesn't have a bulb in the socket. If you would do it in the mk2 it would be a very nice video
I don't know, but guessing you'll need a lot from a North American mk3.

Thanks, ok yes I didn't really show due to its just red wire clips into the fusebox, earth clips into the earth block near the fusebox, grey/blue wire just taps into any grey/blue wire which is 'lights on +12v' and the black/yellow wire is key on +12v hope this helps.

@@theboatgoat yes it clips near the big main +12v red wire that comes from the battery, you'll see 2 or 3 smaller pins which are the same size for the window red wire. It goes into any one of those 2 or 3 pins.

How did you connect the coolant light in the car cluster because i have a sear ibiza and i want to do it so basically i need to put a bulb there and do the connection you show us and it will show up in the cluster?
The mk2 has the coolant light as standard it's just the basic cars not have the sensor. Sorry I have not idea about the mk3/6K seat cluster.

@@RestoDesignsnando that's awesome thanks, Manchester based, have been struggling with the 3 sensors on the head (wiring broken) as the cables are non standard colours for identification due to the previous owner carrying out an other wise near factory abf conversion which has retained the kjet system 👍👍👍. My mk3 vr needs the clifford immobiliser removing 🙈, im not a wiring man at all sadly! many thanks

hi ,i have vw golf mk2 in the USA. My question is, can i use wiper RELAY 99 from UK on my VW GOLF MK2 here in the the USA?
i will be buying online from UK to USA.
I don't really know, but I can't see why the USA CE2 fusebox would be different as far as the wiper relay is concerned.
You can find a 99 relay in just about any MK3 VW in a US junkyard. Probably in B3 Passats as well.
Hi Nando, as i understand I only do need 2 wire for the pin out in the fuse box and a earth/ground for the light switch or am I wrong? Cause am going to install that one in my mk2. Please if you can, you can also reply me on messenger. In advance thank you 😊
Relay pin 85 goes to the door pin earth,
Relay pin 58 goes to front or back side lights,
Relay pin 86 goes to key +12V

Not to hand, it's almost impossible to buy one without the level sensor.

How do you wire electric windows for ce1?
Very easy, just us the ce2 wiring loom or the polo ce2 conversion looms I sell on my site, both loom have a brown which is earth, thick red wire +12v, black/yellow wire which is key on +12v and a grey/blue wire which you just connect to any other grey/blue wire, which it lights on +12v

yes you can use 99 only CE1 or CE2

I have one more question about buzzer i got relay 36 from some old polo and i dont know where to plug it because on fusebox nothing says about light buzzer on ce1
why red antyfreeze for old 30+y old car?
yep never had an issues.
