Being ambitious is not everything. I bet he just wants to be happy with his life, he doesn´t want to be be famous, rich or all of that. It´s pretty different. I like this dude.

I love how different this question must feel to everyone here. I mean, when we are young we usually do not think of these things and, when we do, we think of grand impacts in the world, like leaving our mark in some way. "I was here". But as time passes and you can feel death's presence nearer, you realize the important thing is the impact you had on those who love you :)

The getting-older-and-more-mature thing surely changes people's priorities, but I think the changes in society also contribute to younger generations (me included - 26y) wanting to be famous and changing the world. I mean, celebrities are much more celebrated and in your face. And all these popular shows are putting out this message of: We can make you famous and rich! (no need for talent, you just have to be willing to make a fool of yourself).

I find this fascinating. Once you hit 50 it is no longer about changing the world, it becomes about family, and humans, being there for them, being helpful, making differences in lives (not art, film, etc). It’s not longer about breaking the mold and being the first....it’s about accepting who you are in this world and giving the next generation (AND YOURS) all the pieces of wisdom and advice you’ve learned throughout the years. To ALL my elders, THANK YOU 🙏🏽 you showed me at a young age what life is really about ❤️❤️

Yes. That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw that question. "As someone worth remembering", that's the right answer.
As i see more and more of these series i'm no longer interested in their age, but i'm starting to see it because of the actual humans behind. I don't care if 40 actually is 40 years old, i watch it because i really find the persons stories interesting because i'm getting to know THEM.
Not to be a pessimist but some of them were overly ambitious. All I care about is that the people in my life smile when they remember me.

I have a daughter and the 5 year olds answer right off the bat made me think. It’s my hope that my daughter would want to be remembered for more than just being pretty. Theres nothing seriously wrong about it, I mean at that young age, but I do hope she wants to be strong, independent and kind as well as pretty, I’m confident she does.

I don't care what people remember me for, I'll just be me. I wish I could say that I want to "inspire" people or "make a difference", but truthfully there is nothing for me to inspire people with, and I'm not a confident person to go around and make a difference. I don't think anyone should worry about what they are like, and just live happily, as long as you have people who love and care about you, then you'll definitely be remembered as a loving person in their lives.

I love this 44 year old. And many others especially men, who wanted just be good guys. And others who wanted do good for others than yourself.
Anyone who tries to outlive themselves is inevitably forgotten. Two, three, four hundred years, a thousand years, ten thousand years later and no one really remembers them. I hear about Da Vinci and Galileo, about Mozart and Shakespeare, but they’re just strangers to me; I’m never going to truly understand the impact they had on the world, no matter how much I study their works. So unless you’re Jesus, the only impact worth having is the one on those you love, and those that matter to you. Everything else can go take a hike.

I think the best of them is the number 19. Wise people say you shouldn't care what people think of you. Setting what you wanna be remembered for just makes you wanna live others' lives by trying to live up to their expectations. I mean what does it matter when you are no longer here.
When I was 5 I would have said I want to be remembered for having the most cats ever now I want to be remembered for starting the biggest farm animal sanctuary in the world and making thousands or millions of people vegan and make them save animals too
