Lol.

karlizzle 😂😂😂😂😂
I was kinda jelly looking at those shining lights😁😁😁
Tobymac, “We both get a trophy, we know that’s the way it works these days.” Bahahahahahaha!!
Best comment ever!! Hahahahhahaha
Lol I'm dead very entertaining video
He was actually correct! It was tied. I just rewatched it to verify 😂 they gave two points for the SCC song, when He said the Name wrong!
@2:50 BJ said “Stephen Curtis Chapman, Saddle Up Your Horses,” but the crew Told Wally its correct title is The Great Adventure.
Julie Robinson yes, that was the best part! I busted a gut! 🤣
“That had some flutes in it.” Yes Toby, flutes do exist.
I was first chair second flute in high school. Still have it in the basement.
@@annathy Go get it out and play that flute!
LOL :-)
he literally went 😃
Flute solo!
Michael W Smith: "I love you with the love of the Lord." Wally: "I love beating you." 😂😂😂😂🤣
LOL LOL LOL
"That had some FLUTES in it!" HAHAHAHAH! You're awesome, T-Mac!
POGO - Kids Bible Lessons! 😂🤣😂 I am dying
POGO - Kids Bible Lessons! I was literally yelling “REBECCA ST JAMES - GOD!!!” Over and over again while they sat there XD
"We both get a trophy, we know how it works these days" - TobyMac, the realist
TobyMac - "That had some FLUTES in it!" LOLOL
Love me some TobyMac!!
Toby rapping his part on JF was everything!!!!
Yesss!
SOOOO much! Lol!
Jesus Freak is my FAVORITE DC Talk song!
This was the most entertaining thing ever.
We agree! 😂 So much fun.
Yeah!! This is Awesome!!
Wasn’t it?
Growing up in the 90's this was such a trip down memory lane! So fun!
My thoughts as well😁
As a Christian kid from the 90's this made me laugh out loud. 😂😂 Thanks for the chuckle y'all.
Me too!!!
Me threeeee
Me four !!!!
Such memories
Totally! I grew up with this music! 😆
Glad this channel is showing a more fun side of believers. We need more of a balance in the church. We focus too much on hardships and forget about how fun it is to be a believer. Keep up the good work 😄
@love always
True true...it's more fun than many can even imagine!
Amen! Being a believer in Christ is a joy and a blessing. Life and the future is hopeful. Yes sometimes hardships can happen but with Christ you have assurance that the storm will pass and you will be victorious in the end. I have been a believer for nearly 31 years. I would never choose another life.
Check out "Jolly Priest Memes" and you'll see Rev.Chris showing us how it's done :D
agreed. i wish they would do these "battle" videos more often. these are so entertaining.
AMEN!! 😁❤
Michael W Smith just rocking out to every song, but clueless on most of them. Bless his heart.
They make a good team, knowledge and heart. Wally knows a lot about popular music, and is funny. Smith shows a lot of grace and wasn't much of a competitor but I could feel his gentle and kindly spirit.
He is adorable and so humble!
😉Bless his heart! 😂
@@Dtruthseekperfectly said
He got 4 early.
Lol "we both get a trophy, that's how it works these days"
Adam Williams that was awesome! 🤣🤣
I love that Toby MAC said that!! And it’s so true!!! 😂
I totally caught that....Mr. Mac throwing shade y'all 😂😂😂
Devin Fane he’s an og
Lol
Finally. A Christian FBE/REACT "Guess That Song Challenge"!! I've been waiting so long for this!!!!!!
Yeah but I only got like two correct
Yes, because we need to christianized everything...
Right
I wish tho!
I know
The reaction time from TobyMac on his own song 🤣
100 likes and no comments let me change that
@@davidsacash3057 you the real MVP ✌️ 👊
@@nunyabusiness5275 thanks 👍
I mean if he sang it should be easier
Jesus Freak comes up and I'm like, "T-Mac better get this".
Same!
Me too.
WHAT WILL PEOPLE THINK~
An he raps his part too. Love T mac
LOL 😆😂🤣 you weren't the only one 😂
Pocahontas!....My Heart Will Go On! /best answers ever =D =D =D I laughed so hard
As soon as I heard the beginning of that song I knew exactly what it was, and Wally is a DJ! RSJ was my 1st Christian concert I have ever went to. 😂😂
Yeah, I almost cry when He said Pocahontas😂😂😂😂😂😂
They don't remember it's in Titanic?
TMac can't even rap his own part without automatically "grabbing the mic" 😂😂😂
When you're the boss, you do it like a boss.
6:02 for those who missed it
I cleeeeaaaarrrr mythroatbeforeigrabthemic 😂
That was highly entertaining!
Yay! We enjoy them as well but we are slightly biased! 😉
WAY Nation Naaahh you not that just why makes it funny
The editor for these videos NEEDS A RAISE he is amazing! I laugh harder at the edits than the actual video.
This is a game that needs to be made officially
Wally and TobyMac were both cracking me up all the way through this. 😂 Did anybody need a medic for smashed fingers after this?
I was rooting for them the whole time
😂😂😂
LOL 😆😂🤣
I love this! You guys should do a Sunday school song battle (E.g., The B-I-B-L-E, Father Abraham) or a Christian kids show theme song battle.
Yes please!
I am a c, I am a ch, I am a c h r i s t I a n, and I have c h r i s t in my h e a tt!!
Took me back to my church youth group days! So much fun!!
I met tobymac in person at a youth retreat. He performed & talked to us. such a cool guy💯
Our church was the church that did the Creation Festival. Michal Tait would come to hang out with our youth group all the time. Of the three of them, he was the one I knew the best. Nice enough guy. Toby and I didn't really have much to do with one another. I don't think Kevin Smith was a bad guy, but he had a lot of issues I don't think Christian parents would have wanted their children to emulate.
@@wareagle4789 would u like to elaborate on the kevin smith bit? i really like him so i’m just curious abt your opinion on him…no hate :)
"I make music, I rarely listen to it." Ah, the life of a musician.
That was fun and that decade will forever be the high-water mark for CCM, all those songs and all those artists, all those record people and all those radio stations. It was great and I fondly recall so much of it as a radio deejay back in the day.
Some of the people I've known who listened to it, though...*ahem* (no further comment)
Definitely the golden era, as I still listen to most of these artists, but notable just how many have publicly fallen away from the faith since ...
@@THEEArmoredSaint Just out of curiosity who has?
@@emilys3757 Derek Webb, Dan Haseltine, Mike Herrera, Crystal Lewis, Ray Boltz, Kevin Max, Reliant K's vocalist, Hawk Nelson's vocalist, and the vocalist for Switchfoot are who I can think of off the top of my head. There's many more who have deconstructed their faith or accepted outside teachings openly.
I 2nd that! I mean, the original comment about that being a fun era of CCM.
"We both get a trophy that's how it works these days " I laughed so hard
Y'all should've seen my face when Jesus freak by DC Talk started playing
Totally Mrs. Darcy that was my face when the great adventure came on
TM - 'I think I may have co wrote that" 🤣
That was funny 🤣 but he didn’t. Paul Field, Ralph van Manen and Henk Pool wrote the song.
OMG Michael W. Smith is one of my fav artists of all time. Place in this World is one of my fav songs of all time too! Wish Point of Grace and 4Him were included, they were the first concert I ever went to and it's still my fav because even though the concert was small, it felt personal because they would all share fun stories about each other and I just loved it. It was a Graduation gift from my family when I graduated 8th grade from Catholic School.
This was actually more fun than I imagined
I'm very disappointed at how long it took y'all to recognize Shine :-P
I know, right?
I know!! That was my Christian skatenight jam.....I will never forget that opening music....
Tell me about it! I can't count how many times I've heard it! One of my Christian radio stations uses to have this in with a compilation of other songs they'd play on Fridays in celebration of the upcoming weekend.
Sheri Kwasnik my too!! Christian roller skating nights were the best; even met my husband there!
It took longer with Testify to love...
I love it! Toby says Avalon, oh, did I co-write that song? Hahaha!
JoyfullyOrange that was sooooo FUNNY!!
Hilarious!
Haha, yeah that was funny. Even Avalon didn’t write that song. It was written by Paul Field, Ralph van Manen, Henk Pool and Robert Riekerk.
@@oteis79 indeed. Ralf's only real big song since it won a Dove Award.
What a great concept and a fun watch. I was really surprised how long it took for them to get “Shine” though. I remember it being one of the bigger songs back in the day (in my world, anyway) and it is ridiculously distinct right off the jump. Grew up on DCT and MWS, so just a great dose of nostalgia. Thanks fo this!
All the singers were so calm and Michael Smith handled loosing so well.
Dude!!! My teenage youth!!!! I’ll be right back. I know I’ve got a lot of these CD’s somewhere in a box!
Michael Smith "I love you with the Love of the LORD"
So fun. I knew most of them because I got saved in the late 90's. It's like they pulled the mixed tape from my early relationship with Jesus ♥️🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Wow tobyMac sounds exactly like the guy in dcTalk! :O
No joke. I was at the church before praise-team practice one day, playing some old school Nu Thang DC Talk through the sound system, and one of the kids came in and said, "Hey that one guy sounds a lot like TobyMac." I was like gee I wonder why?
WOAH maybe cuz he was in the band XD
🤣
I'd like to see him imitate the other two DC talk members in singing style form.
I am surprised you didn't include a Petra song. They had a lot of great songs in that decade.
Mary Beighley Petra was one of the best rock bands ever. Also Guardian.
Same!
I wanted Petra as well !!
Yeah, Petra is one of the best christian Rock bands of all time, I love Petra
Yes! I would have flipped if i heard Adonai or More Power to Ya come on. Yall should check out their live concert Back to The Rock. Greg still has it at 61! SIXTY ONE I TELL YOU
"My heart will go on!"🤣🤣🤣
Best decade of Contemporary Christian music! This was a blast!
Hello Kristine , how're you doing today..??
As someone who grew up on 90s Christian music this was the best thing I've watched in a long time. (would have been really cool if they slid Christafari in there somewhere though)
ENCORE!
This was so fun!!! My generation of Christian music. I was in jr high and high school!!
I’m mad they didn’t get shine sooner!!!hahaha. It’s SO ICONIC!!!
Or Avalon "Tesify To Love", either. I Love that song!!
Same!!
SouthernWildPaws Mine too Love Avalon 😊
Who else just fell in love with Toby Mac and BJ?
TobyMac: “That had some flutes in it” 😂
as an agnostic.. these song battles bring me joy to remember all the good times i had at youth night and covenant pines bible camp. kept me going through many years of depression.
This was beyond awesome!!! The whole vid was hilarious, but one of my favorite parts was at 5:22 when Steve and Todd realized hitting the table was setting the buzzer off 😂
Danielle Ingram lol that was fun!
And the ghost emoji just made it funnier!!!!! 👻😂
I got them all right.. I'm yelling answers at my monitor.. lol the fact most of them took forever on "God" was comical.
Dana says- I used to own that CD and I still thought it was Jaci Velasquez until I heard R.St.J.'s voice. Haha
I'm with you on Awesome God. Like, that was THE Christian song of the 90s.
Donny Buford there’s only one thing that would’ve made that part funnier and that is if her brothers couldn’t answer it.
Me too! I was surprised by how many they didn't know. These were 90s classics! Now I want to pull out my old Wow CDs! haha
Yep, I was yelling at my phone lol
ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!! Great fun, guys!!
6:20 I cant even explain how badly I’m laughing his hand wasn’t even on the buzzer I’m dead
They should do the 80s!! I grew up on Carman! Satan bite the dust lolz
Yes!
Carman that has the same std as his brothers wife? That carman?
The carman that has NEVER had cancer. Carman whos brother was murdered to keep Benny Hinns sins covered up? That carman?
Totally agree. Maybe next time.
@Lego Lover if your calling me a liberal. I worked at tobys church. That guy is a demon possessed Masonic puppet. Theres nothing special about that guy...1000 people have more tallent.
@David Harrell the 1 that included 17 years in the Nashville music industry. Worked at Tobys Church. Knew Tru.
And managed 1 of smittys label mates and one of his band members...
But i dont know anything...have a nice day.
Well, some of us would have gotten all of these. I am a child of the 90's when it comes to Christian music.
Travis Coleman totally but I realized something is off here. 90's songs, but Awesome God was late 80's, like '88 or '89. Think it was just in there for Smitty.
I would lose so bad 😭 I am a Christian but my ethnicity is Hispanic so I would be so lost amazing songs though .!
💝🥰 And now i’m making a 90’s playlist!!!
That was gold! I grew up with this music and I love it all! I NEED more of this!
This was hilarious! TobyMac and Michael W. Smith were so funny guessing their own songs! And I love the Spongebob Squarepants graphics! Please make more of these videos!
Guys, this is AWESOME lol. (Buuuut the nerd in me has to say it....Rich Mullin's "Awesome God" came out in 1988! :'D)
Don’t worry bro, ur not a nerd, just a fan
Haha! This was really entertaining! I have been such a fan of you Tobymac since your first album! You've come such a long way and I'm glad you're still having fun being you and loving God! "Pocahontas"😂😂
I would love to see more of this, though I grew up with 80s MWS & AG! I 2 Eye is one of the best albums ever made! Still have it on cassette!
I agree with I 2 Eye being one of MWSs best albums. 😀
BJ - "You know it?"
TobyMac - ".....NO."
Do some Jars of Clay next time!
Dana says- Yeah, some Flood would be awesome.
Yes they should play Flood!
Love Jars of Clay
Definitely need Flood! Also Love Song for a Savior
I would win every time if they did
TobyMac…”That had some Flutes in it!!!!!!!”
*AVALON TESTIFY TO LOVE HOW DID YOU NOT GET THAT WITHIN THE FIRST 0.0000001 SECONDS I'M DEAD*
YES..One of my favorite songs “For as long as I shall live”
How did they take so long to get God by RSJ???
Yes! That song was played every 10 minutes on Christian radio for about five years.
I loved this!!! 90s music is and was the best. Happy times.
Hold my WWJD trinket while I play Keith Green . . .
I knew 'Shine' from the first note
Ditto. I had the LP or something as a kid, and I practically wore it out.
SAME!
Same!
Same
Yes.
Steve and Todd are so much faster than the rest of them! It’s hilarious. Toby is so humble, he acts like he isn’t going to know any of them and then gets them right away! 🤣😂
I love this! How am I just finding this channel?!?
I was in my late teens and early 20's in the 90's. This music and these artists were so influential in molding who I was and who I am today. I knew all of the songs and all of the artist in the game. I loved seeing Toby Mac and Michael W. Smith playing and having fun reminiscing. But it's also so great to know they are still relevant artists that the youth of today enjoy listening to as well. God bless them for being such amazing examples for Christ. Thank you for posting this kind of content. 💝✝️🙏
"That had some flutes in it!" LOL TOBY
Also wow hello my entire youth
Tessa Maye That made me think of Mulan!
Please do more of these! This was so much fun!!
I was born in the yr 2000. I new testify to love by Avalon and awesome God right off the bat, and I remember hearing probably half of them before quite often though I couldn’t tell you the song’s name, lyrics, or author. I loved this!!!!!!! please another one!!!!!! :)
Toby's low-key jab was absolute GOLD. Love it.
I knew Jesus Freak and Consuming Fire before some of them did.... wooooo! Go Gen Z!!!!
I grew up with Shine on repeat.
Same! Born in '97 and love these all
End of gen y and same!!
Michael W Smith- "I love you with the love of the Lord"!! Epic
I so love all of these Guess the Music videos. Makes me smile and giggle! WAY Nation you rock!
I really appreciate you guys leaving their names up there the whole time! Thank you 😊
This was epic. Thank you so much.
This was great. Christian 90s music is my favorite. I was born again in 1993 and listen to tons of Christian contemporary . This was awesome and fun :):):)
Looks like you gentlemen had much fun. Enjoyed watching. Laughed a lot 😂
This was so awesome! Loved it! I hope they make more of these!!!
More of these, please! 🤣 So entertaining! Kudos to the editing team -- LOVED the comical inserts! 😂
2:57 TobyMac: "I wasn't even ready yet." XD
No my goodness this was the BEST!!!!! I'm only familiar with half the people in this video but those songs are brilliant classics I'll never stop listening to. So fun to watch! Thanks!!
I thought I knew alot of songs until I saw this game. F9 is someone's grade for this category of music 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Respect to all the contestants. They all did great!
I was born too late. 90's christian music sounds amazing!
Also - this was great fun to watch! :D
It is never too late to get started listening to good music
True! My sister was born at the end of that era,and she knows the music from it as well as I do!
My daughter was born after the industry collapsed, praise God. But she likes Toby Mac, so I introduced her to DC Talk's "Nu Thang", and she really gets into it. Especially when Toby clearly quotes Philippians 4:13 in "He Works"!
I was twenty in 1990 and during that decade I listened to and owned (still own) all of that music, most of it has never gotten old to me but reading your comment made me realise that I had!
We're all born long after The Bible. Christian music is not the only good music. I'm glad younger people like 90s, 80s, 70s, etc music.
This is awesome! Been waiting to see a video like this 💕 Toby Mac is so funny 😂
Seeing this in my recommended was a breath of fresh air. Getting Toby and Smith on a REACT-style video was amazing. Great editing, excellent song choice, and one of the most entertaining videos I've watched in a LONG time. More, more, MORE!
I was hoping you would include Petra and White Heart. They both had a lot of great songs in the 90s.
MWS and his cute little grooving head bob! Aw!
I could watch this every day!
I love the spongebob reference for Toby Mac... Avalon Testify to love 😂
This was awesome! Thank you for doing this!
Those MWS popups were hilarious! Wonderful video!
Please do the 70s and 80s as well. This was fantastic! :)
This is so hysterical- God bless you brothers- we love you!!! 🤣🤣🤣 ❣️❣️🌷
This is hilarious. Please keep doing more of these!
"Look, we both get a trophy. We know that's the way it works these days."
Yes, Toby, yes.
haha i knew every single song! i should've been on this showwww
Knowing the songs/singers is only half the "issue" here...
This was sooooo entertaining. "We both get a trophy". Thanks for featuring TobyMac
That was fun. Many many more of these please!
It's so fun when you know the song before the experts. 😁 used to blast "Testify to Love" out the car window. So cool.
Yes ma'am
