    Russell Brand isn't the one blowing your mind. That's you understanding his words, you know on an instinctual or spiritual level that what he says is true, and therefore you already knew these things before he said them, he kind of just gave them light in an inspirational way. if you didn't already know this, you might have shown up as a hater or something like that.
    Russell Seems so in tune with his inner self, and it's somehow giving his inner conversations clarity for him to project outwards. This video isn't really blowing my mind, it's sort of inspiring me to try and shed light as well.

      right on elias..we already know these things...so simple..he shed light on them..now we must continue on and do the same so that others can see they all have the answers within...

      Elias ClueFiction Spot on. I've always known these things, feel these things to be true. I identify with everything he says and just about everything he says I sit here and say "Yes! Yes! Exactly! So true!". It is as you say, he has the clarity to outwardly project these thoughts in a concise manner. Something I struggle with. Anytime someone asks me how I feel about religion, spirituality, my viewpoints, etc., I wish I could sound as clear and concise as Russell but somehow everything comes our garbled.

    I NEED to know if there is anyone else out there, anyone who has happened to stumble upon this gold mine of, not so much brilliance, but brilliant realization, that has had these thoughts before. As I sat and watch this , i not only became bewildered by the undeniable brilliance of the revelations and ideas and theologies Russel is talking about, but by the oddity that I share so many of these thoughts and felt as though I was looking into my own consciousness while watching and listening to this wonderfully unique man. I want, more than anything I have ever wanted in my entire life, to simply talk with this man and have a completely unedited, unscripted, unviewed conversation because I truly believe in my heart that his mind holds so many of the answers to the questions I constantly ponder and have yet to find the solutions to on my own yet, and if you have absolutely anyway possible to bring me one fucking INCH closer to that opportunity, I beg of you to get into contact with me. I also beg of you to not read this and attempt to mock me out of boredom or for a sense of enjoyment, because I have been nothing but truthful and open in my statement, and despite the illusion of anonymity supplied by the internet, I have left myself vulnerable and do not wish to deal with those who seek only to exploit that vulnerability for whatever self indulgence you may be seeking to fullfill

    • @z3357224
      @z3357224 10 лет назад +3

      I understand what you mean and I can relate to when you say about these thoughts being such that they were my own and I can understand your desire to talk to others who share the same kind of thinking. You're not alone mate.

    • @Abrahamhamham
      @Abrahamhamham 10 лет назад +4

      I understand what you mean as well, but you can find those answers in yourself. You don't really have to look him up and try to have a conversation with him, unless it's a conversation in which both of you just acknowledge one another for being equal human beings that understand what life is about. He knows everything that we already know. He's just better at explaining it because of his rich vocabulary. If you haven't taken LSD, take it, as soon as possible. You will cry like a newborn in the face of true realization of everything that surrounds you. The tough part is to remain like that and not let your spirit be diluted by the everyday life events. That's the toughest part.

    • @CleverMetaphor
      @CleverMetaphor 10 лет назад +4

      that feeling, like it all makes sense to you, that is called universal truth. and that feeling is like god's way of leading you down the right path. (not the religious god, the one that is all of us) what MrSatanochio said about LSD, i would recommend the same thing.... just make sure you are with people you really trust, and love.... also, you do not need to talk to this man, he found the answers himself on a long journey through darkness. even if he came up and handed you all the secrets of life... they would be useless to you. nothing matters as much as when you realize it yourself... what you said about realization... LSD is like infinite realization compounded into one small space. if it gets overwhelming, then you are doing it right :) no need to worry friend, you are not alone.

      MrSatanochio Clever Metaphor z3357224 Thank you guys, and some time has passed since this, and I definitely agree with you guys that I must go and seek the truth for myself. I don't know so much about the LSD, but I am incredibly open minded, I just dont understand it enough to speak intelligently on the matter. But most importantly, thank you for taking time in your lives to read my thoughts and delve into your hearts and minds to offer insight. Peace and love to you all

      Any little thing you can do to help bring this about, even if it seem small or trivial in your eyes, is actually powerful. if a tiny grain of sugar would think, I know i'm not much, just a tiny little grain of sugar, but I'm going to give it my all to make it into that cup, and countless other little grains of sugar thought exactly like that little guy. Pretty soon we'd have a sweet cup of coffee on our hands>

      Victor Manuel Yep. Treat everybody the same, with love. Do nice things which is generally in all our good nature.
      Greet someone, dont be afraid of speaking to another being, we're all apart of life and in this world together for a short amount of time. Until some existential beings or dramatic event occurs lets make with what he have and enjoy the life in which we've been given on mother earth. And treat the earth with respect as well.

      This really helped with my anxiety. It also brings me back to my deeper, more spiritual self. He really cares about people, the planet, making changes for the better. If more listened to him or he was a leader then the World would be a more loving, caring and safer place.

    My respect for Russell Brand grows and grows. He may be the manic voice of reason. I think he articulates the mystery of hope and joy where fear, desperation and depression seem justified. This video is a little overwhelming and the music is both beautiful and annoying. His advocacy of TM does no harm, though any meditation does the trick in my opinion.

      Yes, peace on earth is mere prattle until you have peace within. Russell has that and is passionate in sharing what his journey has been in order to be a light in the wilderness. So many negative comments here only serve to prove his point that as long as we're hypnotized by the five senses, thinking there can be no reality apart from that, we will never achieve the ability to find inner peace. He is enlightened and deserves to be taken seriously.

    I'm not a fucking devotee of Russell or anything, but just listen and try to fathom what he's on about. The question is not of "is he talking shit or what", it's "what if", and that's the question that continously remains unanswered, Religion is bullshit, and we know that already. But spirituality isn't, in could in fact be a huge part of us, whether it in relation to a higher deity(which I doubt) or not.
    What I'm saying is Russell may not be spot on , but he makes you think and ponder, such is his intelligence.

It’s interesting, he’s all human cognitive brilliant in his rational verbalizations one minute, then there’s a slight pause and he’s channeling the thoughts of some higher dimensional being and SPEAKING TRUTH to our spirits. But it’s all spot on. Listen, learn, and integrate!

      If you don't accept it fine, I'm sure seeing yourself as intellectually superior is a much more heartening stand point , regardless of it being perceived as nonsense to some (not I, I think it sounds perfectly plausible in a lot of ways) but one thing is for sure, being motivated by love and kindness is a healthier modus operandi than being self obsessed and selfish. If it makes people feel better and function with more compassion I think it is a good thing and does have spiritual merit.
      The only thing saddening here is that you chose to focus your energy on destroying other people and trying to discredit them.

    • @chrysalis72
      @chrysalis72 10 лет назад +3

      Oh , kevin, I am far,far, faaaaaaar from enlightened. The only things I understand are the very basics of the concepts he is talking about or has spoken on, as to physics I have about as much knowledge as the average 10 year old (not that I'm proud of that or anything), mathematics and dry data is not my field, ask me to create, write, express or empathise and I might have something to share. We don't visit the doctor to have our cars fixed do we?
      The idea is that we all exist beyond the material manifestation of ourselves in spirit basically.The second concept would be we are all "one" without realising it. All of our essence of thought and feeling bleed into and feed off of each other. All humans have access to all wisdom by meditation as essentially we are all one living thing anyway. We also have the term psychic vampires where people can literally suck energy from you by creating negative tension through argument or whatever. People can bring both beneficial things to this cosmic body (ie teachers, healers,lovers,friends) or they can attack and essentially drain us of life force by being negative, critical, unfair or by wounding us with hurt and rejection.
      I think that makes sense, have you ever gone to visit someone and the minute you open the front door to their house you feel dread or depression? I have, Have you ever went into a room with say an angry man inside and physically felt that pent up brewing storm permeate the room, even when the anger is not focused on you personally?
      Or have you ever visited a person who is deeply spiritual and entered their room and felt a completly different vibe from the rest of the house.
      I have on many levels experinced meeting someone or being within a space and being overwhelmed with their essence or the presence and peace within a church building.
      How about taking it a step further, have you ever discerned a persons character on meeting them? Straight away upon meeting a man a few months ago, I had the feeling this man was going to be bad for us in some way but I had no exterior cues visually or verbally to determine this, it turned out he was an irrational bully who nearly destroyed months of work because he refused to have a piece of film footage with the back of his head in it, even after signing permission to be filmed paperwork (thankfully), we were working on a film project where there was some behind the scenes stuff. I immediately told th dirctor when I met the man i had a weird instinct but because he came with such good credentials and in every way looked like a good person, my insight seemed crazy at the time, I have learnt always to trust my gut instinct regardless of how much I dont want it to be true, it is never wrong.
      This might be explained in a million ways for the scientific mind, you could say it is facial expression ,psychology, the effect of knowing additional information has caused you to feel this, but I genuinely feel from the gut that there is more to us and the world than we can see and touch, a sixth sense that seems to know the unknown and the impossible. Have you ever had any experiences like these where you have met someone and instinctually had a feeling that you just didnt feel good around them for some reason? Very rarely do I take instant dislike for people but I can name a few of them, some people I can be around for a few hours and I have my instincts telling me uncomfortably to stay away from them, they make me feel uncomfortable in myself. something I cant quite put my finger on or put into words is warning me to stay away, again I usually end up seeing that person involved in something dodgy or just spiralling downhill and I realised I dodged a bullet. I couldn't quantify what or why it is or happens scientifically, but I am certainly not alone in being convinced that human beings are more than just a biological entity.
      I also like the fundamental belief's that Brand expresses, love everybody and try to come from a position of understanding rather than judging.
      I try to overcome my own selfishness by the same methods, it is the highest goal and also the most intelligent one to embrace love and kindness,evil and cruelty just seems to equal stupidity, it only leads to negativity, self destruction, violence, shame and loneliness. to let go off narcissistic tendencies and be led by compassion towards a more integrated better society is a wholesome and unique aspiration for someone in the position of great power through fame and money.If only Bill Gates or the Saudi Royal family were motivated with such a philosophy poverty would be eradicated in those places in an instant, millions of poor people could be saved if these billionaires had these same heartfel beliefs that we do. It pisses me off so badly that people like myself who would give their last and enjoy doing it have nothing in this world when there are people with the power to save entire masses of slum area, give everyone a house and clean water, pay decent wages and establish a whole community then STILL have money left over to live a luxurious life and yet they do NOTHING!. The Rothschildes, bankers and millionaires even, they have the wealth to do save thousands and thousands of people and yet they fucking dont, I see the Saudi Princes pouring paper money over whores, "making it rain" is celebrated in rap music and around the world when it is the most contemptible thing imaginable. The Prince drives his sports car and pays for a hareem of whores to run his affairs while the workers he extorts are living in shaks and are being paid $1 an hour.
      I honestly believe that most human beings are fundamentally good, I think it take a lot more work to make a human corrupt. I feel we are born to be loving creatures but that the culture and dynamics of a Capitalist society indoctrinate us to see generosity as weakness and encourage psychopathy with business and money.
      At least with philosophies such as enlightenment teaches us we can If nothing else change the interactions and well being within our own circle of influence.
      My husband and I have already promised ourselves if he gets the job (he is going for an interview for a high paying job) that we will actively every month support another poor family in Colombia. It might not be much we can offer, but in our opinion if we can make even one persons living condition better then we will do so with infinite happiness that we are lucky enough to be able to share our wealth. As I said, if only one, just one billionaire felt as passionately about helping people as we do. We dont have a lot of money so we contribute by working in the community to bring people together, that way we can share more effectively. Simple things, like throwing out a functional piece of furniture, if we are all interconnected in the community then we can give that bit of furniture to someone who needs it and we can use Freds van to get it there. The more "we" are the more we can provide for each other like the way our tribes are supposed to work. Even with the kids, if the understanding is we are one, then we look out for and care about all the kids in our area too. We practise this every day as part of our philosophy. We dont have very much money as we have both been in full time study, hence we have to live in a flat with lots of other poor families. All of the entire street was given a ,makeover in the gardens and on the communal stairways of each building of flats. All our surrounding buildings are already starting to be abused due to kids running in and out, leaving bicycles and toys on the stairs, wrappers,drawng on the walls etc because nobody was caring about the kids, other adults were just stepping over them and letting them destroy everything. We were determined we were going to keep our building clean and efficient despite the chaos around but the only way we have been able to do it is by collaring the kids in action and speaking to them and their parents consistently. We caught 3 little boys, and one urinated on the stairs, so we took all three and spoke to them, tried to make them understand that they need to take pride in their surroundings etc and then made them come upstairs to our house fill up a bucket and wash the mess up.
      Ours is the only building that still looks half decent and it is only because we are willing to fight to keep it that way. If you dont assert yourself people will literally shit on your doorstep. We also had a neighbour who moved in with 2 kids and she as barely 20, no adults in the house. Immediately we had a problem with her dumping all her shoes and buggies outside her front door, we told her to stop doing it, when she had parties to 3am we told her to please respect the kids sleeping next door, she had a pup that defecated on the steps and her kid didnt even bother to clean it so we told her about it, the girl has just never been brought up properly to begin with and all the neighbours wer too afraid to confront her, we could have lost our nice building right there but we didnt because we made the effort to speak to the girl respectfully and tried to encourage her and her kids to have pride in their environment too, simple things that people are not willing to confront, All is concerned with themselves and noone else. We really are friends with that family now. The two kids often come into our house to play with our son but we make them tidy up their mess after them and they have boundaries that they seem to actually like. It is so nice to see them assert themselves when other kids from other buildings bring their bad behaviour over, I heard the little girl say, no that isnt allowed in OUR block and either get rid of the problem herself or come and tell me to deal with it, Sometimes poverty and despair brings people to a sad place of self abuse and it only takes a little bit of a conversation or a "lts plant some seeds in the garden kids" to turn the whole situation around from despair and wanton destruction to them using their energy for something positive, Once they understand and agree its their patch to look after then one pair of eyes has now turned into 3 pairs of eyes looking out to keep the place clean, They are proud of their block and gardens being the best in the street. That is what real care in the community and spirituality is, using the same ideology that Brand speaks of in practise, in real life. Taking time enough to teach the kids instead of just adding another lock to the door to keep them out or phoning the police to inform ignorant parents who would do nothing anyway, except maybe beat them.
      Meditation is another of his activities he claims help's him with addiction and his adhd, doctors have already given their stamp of approval to this practise as being medically beneficial to everyone. So why not?

    MAN seeks the pattern.
    For without one, he feels lost!
    What pattern do you experience when floating on the surface of an ocean?
    But a universal sense of randomness.

    • @aybee63
      @aybee63 8 лет назад

      Thanks BlueAngel144! That's exactly what I would have said! Though I was also implying that MAN (masculinity) needs to understand and experience that universal sense of randomness more so than Women, who have always been more in touch with their emotions. MAN is by far the predominant of the human species that seeks patterns and creates patterns in order to create an environment he can understand and to some extent, manipulate and control.

      Complexity is an ideological metaphor that tricks us into thinking that everything is much too complicated for us to understand. Just another tool in the pockets of the controllers. Life is simple. That which in synchronicity with everything is what is good. anything that fucking clashes, causes pain, suffering and other similar outcomes, is bad. Oneness, Supreme Consciousness, God or what ever you choose to call it (stuff), is complementary to itself, hence, synchronicity, harmony, love, bliss, and on and on. Be a pagan!
