Michel Detroyat and Caudron C.460 tribute. Nice footage of the Caudron C.460 replica belonging to Tom Wathen. Built by AeroCraftsman at Flabob airfield in Southern California, the plane was shipped to France for the 100th anniversary of the Paris Airshow. While there the airplane was flown to several airshows by Christophe Marchand and Stephane Lanter. Thanks to Laurent Detroyat for putting this clip together. A nice tribute to his Grandfather Michel Detroyat who piloted the C.460 to victory in the 1936 National Air Races.

In response to those who do not enjoy the music, please feel free to turn down the volume or turn off the speakers entirely. I also appreciate the music of the older engines, however these videos are made with amateur cameras and equipment and the only sound is normally just wind noise.
As an alternative, anyone offended by the sound track is encouraged to spend the time and money necessary to build their own replica, go fly it, and make their own video.
