I honestly don't know why this game coped so much flak, Obvious issues a side ,(story , mostly) It was a blast to play ,and inspired a handful of dmc5,s combat system

@@n.b.m2017 The characters having no resemblance to the source material _is a valid complaint._ However, I think this interpretation of Dante _does_ bear that resemblance. Yes, many things are changed - it's a reboot - but Dante has always been a bratty, anarchistic iconoclast. The simplicity of fighting magical demons is lost, though, in favor of a story about fighting the _system._ Which is why people have such a problem with it.
