@@Shibu_PL With DMC 5 being a thing a lot of the hate clearly was because it was a reboot. People are now praising this game's unique level design and actually pretty good combat. It's not as complex as the mainline DMC but still better than lot of games out there.
A similar thing happened with Lords of Shadow 1 it's a good game but it's too far departed to be a castlevania game, mostly because it didn't start out as that. So people bashed the game when it came out because it was a reboot of a series that didn't need one. Just like DMC.

It's like they designed a great and complicated combat system but levels are so boring looking that they even gave us a separated button to show us the right way if we got lost...

@@Shibu_PL Yeah because honestly Devil May Cry 5 doesn't need the complex levels because the combat is so good that it carries the whole game. It's what it's about at the end of the day it's for people to do crazy shit after they learn to play with Nero,Dante and ect it's no wonder bloody palace is so popular.
DmC's combat is nowhere as complex but still great, the level design is where the game shines in my opinion. It's fun to explore.

Probably the most violent atmosphere ever created in a DmC game. People hate it , but for me this stands out, i honestly feel like this game is the most satisfactory in combat compared to the others (mainly cus of the music and the vibe of the game itself). I do love the other games too tho, but this one deserves a place up there as well !

The only problem with DmC was it's writing. As far as gameplay goes it was pretty darn great. Sure it had some odd gameplay mechanics such as Angel/Demon weapons woking on specific enemies but besides that it was good.
