On January 15th of this year, I was working on a large construction site in the middle of a creek. That day I had to stay overnight and at some point in my shift I couldn’t stand being hungry, so I went to get some dinner in my car. On my way back at 11pm, as I was crossing the bypass to enter the creek, another vehicle hit me and my car rolled down the coast into the creek. The airbags didn’t work and I almost died that day. If the car had hit me a few tenths of a second earlier, I would have hit my seat and I wouldn’t be telling this story. After falling, I looked at my cell phone to check the time, and on Spotify I was playing this song at full volume when all this happened.

I just noticed these were uploaded only recently, so what took you so long, Casey? Just curious. I got caught up in the DMC 5 rabbit hole only recently after coming across Devil Trigger and Bury the Light on YT, which made me want to get the game and then try the older entries. I had fun with it. I'm glad I came across your work-it made my summer a whole lot better.
I first heard this song but it was another version where 2:48 onwards wasn't vocal and wasn't like this either. I noticed after around a year that the game came out that the version i was listening to (I actually downloaded it onto my Razer phone 2 but well... Razer happened and it died in like 6 months) just couldn't be found anywhere else anymore.. if anyone else know what I'm talking about and can direct me to one where it is still that version, well if you've heard it before as well. Please do so. Anyways this is an awesome song regardless, i just really liked the version i heard.
