@@CErra310 ??? Itsuno has said multiple times that he loved this game and literally said that he wanted to make a DmC 2 instead of a DMC 5 but decided not to without ninja theory because this is their universe. That's why DMC 5 has a more realistic art style and color palette, looks way closer to the reboot than DMC 4. Jump cancelling is easier like in DmC, the Fury is literally a harder version of the Dreamrunner enemy from DmC. Even Dante's alternative costume is a reference to Donte. Hell, the final arena you fight Vergil in is literally copy pasted from DmC. And when they released vergil in DMC 4 they literally said that his teleportation was inspired by reboot Vergil, and in DMC 5 he even has the doppelganger that reboot Vergil had. Yes Dante had a doppelganger style, but Vergil's Doppelganger works exactly the same as Reboot Vergil, not like Dante's

If this was not a devil may cry game and it's just an inspiration of the series and the main character wasn't named Dante I would've loved it even more
it really wasn't a spit in the face... its more the 'fans' spitting on ninja theory in general... where they were passionate and tried to do a different take on the series (which is called a reboot 'surprise') but the fans reaction from the 2010 TGS trailer ruined ninja theory which lead to Capcom demanding change which is where the final product came in
If this game had been anything other than an attempt,at a Devil May Cry reboot it would have done amazing. the combat and gameplay were great but their attempt to make it a DMC game is what made it fail

Not going to lie, I love this game. I feel it's aged very well
This game is goated , as a dmc fan since ps2, i will fight on this hill
Can we take a moment to appreciate how he did some of this footage without definitive edition?
what the fuck 17 minutes ago
I'm sure most of this was on pc. Even then, the older consoles ran the game just fine, I couldn't even tell the difference.
It is definitive edition, there's a lock on button and the gameplay is in turbo mode
@@mauricio3624 what the fuck a year ago

That moment when during the Black Friday You see the very last console on sale and there is already a mob of people running towards it...
'Devil May Cry.' Lock-on? The song slaps nonetheless.
The sword? Haha. Time to go to work, guys.
This vocalist need's a tictac
I love this game!
Me too
Great soundtrack, also unpopular opinion I love the level design in DmC compared to the original games.
I always said: it's a great game as long as you skip the cutscenes. DMC is my favorite combichrist album.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the SSStylish gameplay provided?
Dude’s a beast.
This game deserves a sequel so bad... I can't understand the hate. Hopefully we see a dmc2 someday
Deserves a sequel, Ninja Theory's best game.
The hate was because I think capcom wanted this to be the “new” rebooted dmc and dmc4 would be the last game but of course everyone rebelled hence the hate it received
I honestly hope they do some multiverse bs😭 bc a cross over in dmc 6 is the only donte is coming back
It deserves to stay in the past as a bizzare oddity. Nothing more, nothing less.
I just started playing this game last night and the battle music in this is just as good and fun as the gameplay.
Hack and Slash, and metal
played this today. game kicks ass.
DmC may not have been what a true Devil May Cry game as to DMC 5 but...
God, the soundtrack bangs, we can't lie as well as it's great level design.
Kudos on expressing that opinion.
DmC might have been a massive shitstain on the series story-wise, but there is no denying that it's gameplay and soundtrack was totally banging.
Wouldn't be surprised if some of it's fluidity rubbed onto DMC 5, which would imply it took something good from this.
@@CErra310 he literally never left Capcom you just making stuff up 🤣🤣🤣🤣, after DMC 4 he directed Dragon's Dogma (and he is probably working on it's sequel right now) that released a few months earlier than DmC. After that he went back to DMC.
Also i love how you responded to nothing of what I said, that's because you can't deny he has said multiple times that he loved DmC, it's literally on video. Keep crying all you want, Itsuno loved the game and inspired him for DMC 5 and Ninja Theory used the DmC money to make hellblade which was a huge success for them. Also I love how you have responded to multiple comments, some of your comments are 2 weeks old and others 2 months, bro why do you keep coming back to this video if you hate DmC 🤣🤣🤣 you are probably retarded, I'll stop responding
@@CErra310 what? Itsuno said he wanted to make a sequel and even went as far to say it was his favorite.

BUT MUH GREAT DMC STORYTELLING!
Don't trust the average "fan"
This game good
Play it
Since I completed every DMC game (except DMC 2), for some reasons reboot is still my favorite game in franchise.
And soundtrack is definitely one of those reasons
Heeey, this is pretty good!
Lyrics
TIC TAC, TIC TAC
I fucking love this game!
GOES SO FUCKING HARD.
I really wanna play this game it looks fun
Саундтреки к этой игре - одни из лучших в мире.
Очень зря обошли вниманием этот момент
Mis respetos por como juega 😎
BANGER
I kinda wish this was it's own franchise rather than be a reboot of DMC. I still had a ton of fun with it and I loved some of the design of the levels. Story is what is it is but the rest was really not half bad. Alas we'll never get to see it evolve.
Me : I don't give A fuck about lore of Dmc Devil may cry, But the Ost of Vergil and Dante make me play that fucking nice game bruv
Combichrist - No Redemption (full album dmc soundtrack) look it up. i think this song right here is Falling Apart
looks like some re-arranged
This song is called 'Gotta Go', it's in the title
TIC!!! TAC!!!
Say what you want about this game, for me it was so fucking nice, i'd love to see a continuation of this game.
It's other story, same characters, I don't care, the gameplay was actually good, the music was so fucking good too.
This should be a spin-off of the main series. This game was really fun
I agree with you bro
People can say what they want about the game, but the music, and enviroment design were fucking phenemonal, the combat kicks ass too
Me and my friends when we listen to this:
*Aggressively plays tic tac toe*
0:04 Fight!
If this was not a devil may cry game and it's just an inspiration of the series and the main character wasn't named Dante I would've loved it even more
Stellar soundtrack, stellar gameplay, but the story is a spit in the face of the fans at best.
it really wasn't a spit in the face... its more the 'fans' spitting on ninja theory in general... where they were passionate and tried to do a different take on the series (which is called a reboot 'surprise') but the fans reaction from the 2010 TGS trailer ruined ninja theory which lead to Capcom demanding change which is where the final product came in
this shits banging
Love it
I need someone to mod this song into DMC 5 over one of the DMC2 songs desperately!!
W song
1:57 best part 😘😉
when you got one minute left on your test but your only half way done
SADISTIC
Digan lo que digan de DmC el Donte si se carga unos temasos
The character design of this game is pretty good if you ask me
If this game had been anything other than an attempt,at a Devil May Cry reboot it would have done amazing. the combat and gameplay were great but their attempt to make it a DMC game is what made it fail
I wouldn't really call it a fail since most elements of this game was carried onto DMC5.
It's more or less everything that was positive about the previous series got thrown out of the window for edgy teenage angst because the developers were giving information that that's what sells. I feel bad for everybody involved because they did not deserve the backlash
This is my favorite DMC game, and I played all of them in order.
Best to worst:
DmC
DMC4
DMC
DMC2
DMC3
DMC5
I see people having polar opposite impression of DMC5.
I also did not liked it at all.
I wonder what's going on here...
@@skipperg4436 I think it just depends how you feel about it in terms of lore. If you view it as a prequel, you probably like it. If you view it as a reboot, probably not.
The marketing at the time was terrible, and a lot of fans felt insulted.
best story, best ost, best gameplay, best dmc
It would be better with Debut Dante model
This is The Truth
