I also talk through the order to apply skincare products in your PM skincare routine with cleanser, acne topical prescriptions, anti-aging serum, eye cream, moisturizer, neck cream, and retinoids like tretinoin and retinol.

Your not crazy, the proof is in your stunning skin. I have recently added; Cerave eye cream, Ordinary Retinol Serum & La Roche P. Vit C serum for sensitive skin to my routine. All of my issues are disappearing. The series of fine lines in the inner corners of my eyes, gone. My poor skin was dry. Thank you soooo much 👏💕

off topic but i’m currently obsessed with the ordinary moisturizer, i recently just got it and omg its so creamy and rich and thick and the perfect texture and i apply it while my face is damp bc i have dry skin and my face is super soft! the ingredients are so simple but also so affective and it’s only $7! and it lasts a really long time but yeah there’s my rant

I love neutrogena and cerave products . i have hand dermatitis and very alergic to methylisothiazolinones and so having fregrance free options are great for me . I also saw your function of beauty and love those products as well because I need a fregrance free and dye free option for hair too. I use the cerave moisturizing cream and day face lotion with spf 30 and hydro boost extra dry cream at night with Cerave moisturizer. I also use cerave bath bar which is awesome . I'm new to your channel.

Love the point you made about a thicker moisturizer on the neck area! We have fewer oil producing glands on the neck than we do on the face, so it can be drier than the face in general.. especially if we aren't treating it right!

Love that you are fragrance-free and essential oil-free! Your skincare routine is so satisfying to watch xx. Been thinking of buying the fragrance-free ponds cold cream, but am worried about the residue, I do go in with a second cleanse (simple micellar gel wash) though. Is the cold cream easily washed off even without a washcloth?

Hi, got a rec for you on this you might wanna try. I would recommend the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Melting Balm for a cleansing balm instead of the Ponds if you want something that rinses right off. I love it, no greasy residue after washing at all and no cloth needed. (This is a must for me since I have rosacea and cannot handle washcloths or rubbing/friction on my skin.) Fragrance free and $10 for 2 oz jar.

Just found you and your awesome! You answer all the questions that pop into my head as I am watching! I recently took about 2 months, no joke, and just researched a ton before deciding what to buy for my skin care routine. I totally agree with everything you said! Retinol is key and you don't need a separate eye cream. I went with many products from The Ordinary skin line. It has made such a difference in my texture, complexion, and breakouts! After watching, I am going to add in Cleure Repair & Correct Eye Cream. Thanks for affordable options!

Im not sure if you’ve read the ingredients list on the Neutrogena Hydro Boost cleanser but almost all of the products in the Hydro Boost line claim to have Hyaluronic Acid (aka Sodium Hyaluronate) in them. Unfortunately, if you look in the ingredients list it is the last ingredient. This typically means it is less than 1% of the formula which to put it nicely it means it doesn’t do anything. It may be a gentle cleanser but I would advise anyone reading this to consider reading the ingredients list on any product before purchasing. Some companies will put any claim on their packaging if it means getting your money which sucks.

yasss micellar water 😀 I actually mix it with a few drops of $1 baby oil in a tiny cup and it melts my spf and makeup off without dragging on my skin 😳 I do it two times then rinse and it leaves my skin silky soft. Also, do you wash the halo pad daily?

It really isn’t necessary to double cleanse when removing sunscreen. Surfactants are in cleansers for a reason. Lab Muffin Beauty has an article about this on her website. I used to think I HAD to use an oil cleanser. I don’t wear makeup, only sunscreen. My CeraVe Foaming Cleanser does just fine at removing everything.

Great video Abbey! Quick question. I use the Cerave vitamin c serum, and have also tried out the versed vitamin c serum. I find that both of these turn brown and sit in my pores and make me look like I have a bunch of black heads everywhere. The cerave one comes out yellow so I’m not sure why it turns brown as it sits on my face.. Have you experienced this? Or could it just be from the brands I’m using?

But it makes me wonder if it's even doing anything? I switched to the gel because I am combo clogged pore prone & there is isopropyl myristate in the cream which is supposedly comegenic which is ironic that it would be in Tret. The gel smells STRONGLY of alcohol though. But still no flaking or anything so idk.
