Thanks for the inspiration to do my own "area lock". I followed the same rules, no shiny sandwiches and no outbreaks. But I went one step further, i locked myself in the areas where names changed. Inlet Grotto, all the different seas, etc. It was alot of fun. Think I am going to do it again. Thanks for the inspiration and a very creative idea to really explore the region.
I am loving these videos. Currently working on getting the shiny charm in scarlet game and already had a few shinies run into me. I got attacked by an angry yellow balloon and a shiny goat. Also my guess for the 10 second shiny challenge clip would be maschiff or mabosstiff giving how dark the area was.
To a lot of you who dont know this, altaria is a dragon type- however swsblu is not. I dont know why but its not. The swablu he got was just pure luck but i guess all shinies are lmao 😆

Decided to do this challenge as well. I was in East province area 2, deciding to hunt for sandygast or mareanie switching between poison and ghost encounter 2 power. I found a shiny magikarp instead, after catching that I walk down the beach just a little to find another golden Karp. Not sure to be happy or mad
In my playthrough I was kind of just rushing thru the storylines and wasn’t exploring any more than I needed to because I didn’t want to run into any cool mons that I wasn’t able to catch. And I wanted to hurry up and finish storylines so I could shiny hunt lol and on my super quick initial journey I came across a shiny Oinkologne right after leaving school within my first hour of the game and then a shiny swablu the first time I found Lake Casseroya.
tip: pokemon with dual types only have one sandwich that works . scovillain's first type is grass so that would spawn more scovillains. just a lil tip i thought would help on you area locked journey.
i watched your video and thought to myself what if i was as lucky as you, 5 minutes later i made a ghost type sandwich and after 5 minutes i caught a shiny drakloac. Thank you very much for showing in this video how easy shiny hunting in this game is. ❤️
Right before the shiny maschiff in the shade, near the small ruin there was a shiny mabosschiff, and I saw it when you told me to look for the shiny. So tthat clip 100% contained TWO shiny pokemon.

I’ve been shiny drive-by-ed by a tauros in the terrarium while working on the blueberry dex so seeing you get drive by-ed by a vroom just seemed funny
