the best charge for nimh batteries is overnight at 1/10 capacity. 3000mah charging at 300mah for 14 or 16 hours absorbs the full rated capacity. all cells are cycled and balanced at the same voltage.
I see sooooo much contradicting information on this it drives me nuts. The majority are saying that slow charge is actually bad for NIMH batteries. Why can't an official answer from battery makers just set everyone straight ffs.

I don’t remember discharging my battery the last time I used it. Should I discharge before recharging even though it has been sitting for at least 2-3 months.
You can use 0.2 A because it is 220 mah battery so it better and safer than charging but you can charge it at 5c but it will mean hot nihn battery and will mean less recharge cycles

Ive just bought this charger from amazon I love it for my lipos & I can use it with a12v for the field & ac at home ,well worth £45

I think if you charge it at 3.0 it will make the battery life last longer
