A mate and I Met Moz at Randwick Races in the early 2000’s. Was happy to have a long chat and a picture. All a bit pissed as well 😂 Top man. As an England supporter living in Sydney at the time was brilliant to watch him week in week out. Legend
Met Mozza off the field a handful of times when he was at Wire and he’s a top fella like all League players. On the pitch, he was one of a kind though. Absolutely ferocious 🤙🏻
Another great interview and listen, on a really good podcast. Congratulations, James, and great to hear from an English and Roosters premiership-winning legend in Moz ✊🐓🏆
Would love too see a Brad Thorn interview that's a tough bastard. Some people in New Zealand consider SBW to be the best dual international but the real ones know it's Brad Thorn
man so good to see Morley doing well, was an absolute mad man on the field, used to fear him as a kid whenever he went up against my team, but Jimmys right man paved the way for a lot of British forwards to apply their trade in the NRL what a legend
One of if not the hardest player to play our great game, lucky to see him play for Leeds, Bradford and Wire as well as GB in 1999 on the tri nations tour and 2003 when he was sent off after 12 seconds..... If he was only as hard as Karl Fairbank
I once won a competition with Bell Cable Media with Leeds RL back in 1995/1996 and went for a dinner event with the team and I was sat on the same table as Adrien Morley and Marven Golden, they were relatively unknown academy players back then - then a few years later Moz was a super star ! Love telling people I had dinner with Moz at Leeds RL haha 😂 🏉 was my fav player for years
Legend of the game Moz and top man. Great podcast. While you're over for the World Cup James itd be great if you could get a few more on, Jamie Peacock would be a good one 👍
You would never know that man was a legend enforcer in Australia and England professional rugby league, the great ones are always like that just like Brett kenny.Morley should be in England's immortal hall.
James Graham my uncle was a security guard at a pub in Paddington and he was there when Justin Hodges bash league Riccarton and Gordon Tallis said does anyone want it in your mate Adrian Morley was very quiet he said
james graham wasnt a pushover either. i nearly bumped into him once on marrickville road he walked past and i half recognised him. had a double take and im sure it was james.
But I'm glad that we were like ships in the night we passed by each other without any drama because I know I would be on his radar because I played in the second row So we would have in each others faces
To be fair as adrian Morley said I don't think the ref or the Aussie pack noticed it caught Kearns and ko'd him in the moment so to be saying the Aussie pack was afraid to confront adrian I highly doubt it
@parkerhal well if you go back and watch the tape you can see danny buderus waiting for the play the ball from kearns so yeah as I said I don't think they realised he was ko'd
@nathanking9886 he may not have to start with but Betsy was a runner from that sort of confrontation so would never do anything anyway, the standoff new he had to get out the way as he was cracked and the oz players who were in front of Kearns who were actually running back following morley definitely saw it. 13 Oz players on the field and no one saw him.face plant? Don't think so. Crowd, commentators everybody knew instantly so at bare minimum some of the players knew.
Hard, Strong, and happy to run through a brick wall, carry after carry. Great Bloke 2. Lucky we get him at Bradford for a few games, and won the league title with us. Live Long n Live Large Big Un.
Feared and respected on both sides of the world
Morley was a relentless juggernaut, especially during his NRL stint. Great interviewing skills from James Graham.

I used to be genuinely fearful for my team's players, when we would play the roosters. Morley was an absolute monster of a player.
The scariest man to ever walk on to a rugby league field! The true MAN MADE OF STEEL!!
Well done Jimmy. Adrian was such an awesome player during his stint at Easts. Thankyou both.
When you're hit like a bomb by a 6foot 2 pom, that's a Mooorley

Adrian Morley , the hardest of hard bastards on the field , off the field a entertaining man indeed
Adrian Morley, Brad Thorne, Mark Carroll these were the greats

Lol this interview tho
All jokes aside The Great Adrian Morley my god what a human
Would love too see a Brad Thorn interview that's a tough bastard. Some people in New Zealand consider SBW to be the best dual international but the real ones know it's Brad Thorn
No one in nz puts sbw ahead of Thorn @@kylebyrne8076

One of the hardest to ever play the game 💯💪😎

another fantastic guest the war horse himself mr morley
Yes!!!! So glad this happened!
Another great interview James 👍
Idolised Morley growing up. Best thing to come out of Salford. Lucky enough to be at his last game ever and even better it was in a Salford shirt
One of the great British props to play for the chooks
James is 100% right the whole aussie side stood around looking at each other going fuck that...
What a player , great poddy
You would never know that man was a legend enforcer in Australia and England professional rugby league, the great ones are always like that just like Brett kenny.Morley should be in England's immortal hall.
One of the fucking hardest to ever do it. Crazy bastard
James Graham my uncle was a security guard at a pub in Paddington and he was there when Justin Hodges bash league Riccarton and Gordon Tallis said does anyone want it in your mate Adrian Morley was very quiet he said
Tallis?😂
Terry O'connor sorted the clown out, even though he did the dirty and hit him half a dozen times before he was ready
Love the references to The Office. 😂
Legend
Legend 💪

Morley was certifiable
Not even angry he got sent off after 12 seconds, was buzzing to be honest, never seen an Aussie put the shitters up us like he did them.
Really? Didn’t see many wanting big Mal to run at ‘‘em mate
Most would have preferred running at Mal to this guy.@@davidfife-nm7uy
The Moz.!!
On ya Mozz
Adrian Morley was one of our most feared big hitting forwards in British rugby league I'm not being funny or saying that I'm a coward
But I'm glad that we were like ships in the night we passed by each other without any drama because I know I would be on his radar because I played in the second row So we would have in each others faces
To be fair as adrian Morley said I don't think the ref or the Aussie pack noticed it caught Kearns and ko'd him in the moment so to be saying the Aussie pack was afraid to confront adrian I highly doubt it
Are you saying the two teams weren't watching the play? Do you think they all just thought Kearns fainted?
@parkerhal well if you go back and watch the tape you can see danny buderus waiting for the play the ball from kearns so yeah as I said I don't think they realised he was ko'd

Moz wat a weapon, can it get ennny arrder then this blooake
One of the minority English players that scared the shit out of the Aussies!!!
A bit Gareth…
stop talking and let your guest speak so annoying
Did you watch the same thing as me?
Hard, Strong, and happy to run through a brick wall, carry after carry. Great Bloke 2. Lucky we get him at Bradford for a few games, and won the league title with us. Live Long n Live Large Big Un.
