When I take out the clicker and have the stretch bracket installed, I find that with pressure, the blade will start closing… like from fully open to where the 5th notch is
Do you have a video where you go in-depth on how you connect the length you cut with the stretch bracket to the length you cut with the regular taper blade?
im glad that i looked at this video before i emailed you about the stretch bracket. I was thinking that with the addition of the bracket, you are able to get a smoother transition from your no guard closed to open.. only thing is that my clippers are set so well and crunch so well that im afraid to take them apart and have to adjust as i go forward with more cuts. I dont think they will ever be the same if I alter them now. My 5 stars and designers went trough this.. my designers were the ones but when i adjusted them they were never the same.. got them decent but never the same. My 5 stars on the other hand were less desireble for me especially not being the best with the fade blade right away. i changed to a faper blade and they got louder but not better.. i know its a customize at your own risk type of thing, but is it really worth it when you have some hitters but dont really want to lose the ability for the equipment to remain with a premium vibe... i will also say that i dont really like how im not able visually see the difference from my first guideline put in with a trimmer, to the no guard open. My no guard open is still so low that it hard to distinguish the lower guideline under it.. thanks for the information and all the good content.
I stopped using my Gamma fade blade or the taper blade... it gets unbearably hot. I just put a Wahl blade on it with a ceramic cutting blade, the boosted gets really loud with a regular steel Wahl cutting blade. I love the Boosted, great clipper but I absolutely hate how the blade wiggles on the bracket... I heard applying threadlocker on the lever screw will fix that, but that is a poor manufacturing defect. My next clipper will the the trusted Magic Clip or I'll just go back to the Seniors.
Just a quick update: my colleague "dropped" my Boosted and the clocks somehow "fell out" 😒.. but now I find the bracket doesn't wiggle and the blade is secure. I have now reverted back to the original Gamma Boosted cutting blade with the faper blade and man! This machine is awesome. I find the blade still does warm up slightly, but the secure blade without the clicks combined with the faper blade is a winner! I pretty much have a Magic Clip blade setup on my Wahl corded Icons, but the Boosted is now my go-to. Great clipper! 🎉
Can you make a video where you switch the clipper on after you change blade as they don't work the same and get loose overtime and Camshaft starts to make loud noise. If you show how fix and eliminate the sound that comes from VibRATION think this it will be the holy grail to not replacing clippers IMO
I wouldn’t say it gets loose but yes they get loud. Nothing to do with the blade swap though. They come with an extra cam follower so you can swap it when it gets loud

I've never done more than clean up my neckline, behind my ears, and my sideburns, I don't know much about clippers so seeing that this looks sleek and has a click lever made me instantly want to buy it and try to fade my own hair. also, I know many people prefer the faper blade. is the stock fade blade difficult to use or whats the difference, Any tips ??
I just got mine in the mail, I also purchased the faper blade. I put the stretch bracket on as well but for some reason when I go to put the blade on and tighten the screws all the way the right side doesn't move but the left side does as if I have the screw loose but I do not. Any suggestions, or reasons this may cause?
Hey Sean, i heard stylecraft made some changes to their new batch for the rebels a few months ago compared to when they released, what do u know about this? And whats the difference?
@@Seancutshair thank you for the reply bro, like you I prefer a taper blade, do you think there would be a benefit to removing the clicker since I'm using a taper blade?
I have a question if you can answer it? I tied to put the bracket on and the lever screw just keeps turning, screw won’t come off, is this a defect or do you happen to have a solution for this, any help is greatly appreciated
Yeah it’s different from this video you have a pink piece inside and mine is white smh knew something was wrong, I appreciate you responding and keep up the great work and content, your a blessing brother!!
So I found the solution! The blade is wobbling due to the guard lever not being screwed tight enough, I know in the video Sean mentions to not screw it too tight as it will be difficult to push it up or down, which is true but the solution is that you used the RED lever as it has a slightly different shape to the black lever it allows it to tighten further without it rubbing against the side of the clipper body. Long story short follow everything in the video above, but USE THE RED LEVER INSTEAD OF THE BLACK (it will not have a the spring or the little stop for the click like the black one or gold one does to begin with) and make sure it’s as tight as possible whilst still being able to manoeuvre between guard open/closed. Thank you for the video bro @seancutschair

@Seancutshair i have a problem with original bracker on my alpha. It looks like it is crooked a little.
