    The mag release is very sticky at first, BUT, Arex does offer an extended mag release that makes it a million times better. The Delta M has become my EDC . Very accurate, a little snappy, but not worse than any other lightweight 9mm. Great piece! Just a heads up, but it is a chassis system. The trigger group is the serialised part, like the P320. And it takes P320 sights.

    Great review Graham!
    Their website indicates this gun is a “true double action striker-fired pistol” that is inherently safer… Could you elaborate on what they mean by that when you do your range review and whether it is similar to a true DA hammer fired gun like your Grand Power?
    I believe they also mention it has 3 safeties and I’m not sure what they are besides the trigger blade safety…

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  3 года назад

      I'm not sure about the true double action as the striker is armed upon the slide closing. As far as other safeties it has a trigger safety, safety plunger (like Glocks and most other striker guns), perhaps a drop safety of sorts, but I didn't look for one.

      I have a Gen 1, Gen 2 L and M. I plan to trim back the dust cover on the L frame to match the M slide length, then I can mix and match the slides and frames as I want. I can even make the 15 round, long barrel that Graham wished for in the video.

    Is the FN 509 so pricey because of the dual push button slide release? It seems to be the only one that’s been done well. (Talking about only push button, not paddle). The price of a 509 always kinda irked me, what if that’s what people are paying for? 😂.
    AREX should have taken note from when CZ tried with P10 and went to reversible after people
    complained of stiff mag and slide release. They fixed the ambi slide release issue without changing anything, but had to change mag release to reversible. There’s a reason Walther, S&W, Glock, and Sig all went with an ambi reversible button mag release.
    It can be done and done well, but a good leverage point within the confines of a mag well is difficult. only higher end pistols seem to pull it off, so there’s probably something to that. If trying to make a budget pistol, just go with reversible.

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  3 года назад

      Most of my Grand Powers are just as smooth from either side, but you're right, most other maker's ambi mag releases are incredibly stiff on one side.
